this is intuitive astrology. meaning that i’m making these notes based on what i intuitively pick up about this astrological point being merged with these signs. take it with a grain of salt and understand that you might not relate to everything that i get from your placement 🖤

when you’re suppressing your lilith energy, you deal with chronic fatigue. this is because you struggle to just go after things in the moment that you want to take action. you stall yourself and then lose the impulse to do what you wanted to do in the first place.

^ this may also be the reason why you feel as though you can no longer feel true excitement about things.

you can swing from a complete lack of spontaneity to too much spontaneity to the point of self destruction. you were never taught how to merge your natural spontaneous nature with rational decision-making. people just told you that your rash actions were “bad” and never gave you advice about how to exert that energy in a healthy way.

you trigger boys/men (insecure + immature men) the most. because they’re threatened by the masculinity that they see in you - especially if you’re a woman or a gay man (someone who immature, ignorant men believe “should” have less masculinity than them). they automatically see that your strength and ability to defend yourself is stronger than theirs.

you either completely reject your anger or completely embrace it - but may struggle to express it in a healthy way if you haven’t yet integrated lilith into your personality.

may have experienced other people (especially boys, men, and/or your father) abusing you (physically or sexually). experiences of someone violating your body in some way due to their own weakness regarding not controlling their anger/instincts. the same exact shit that they shamed you for. you’re a reflection of everything that they are (that they’re ashamed of). but it’s easier to vilify someone else than to vilify themselves, right?

others of you have probably just experienced unnecessary aggression from those people.

you could also swing between extremes regarding expressing your sexuality. either completely suppressing it to avoid shame (as you’ve probably been shamed for expressing it before) or presenting yourself in a completely sexualised way as a source of rebellion towards the people who’d vilify you for it.

some people with this placement get their vitality through being shocking to people and riling people up. through triggering people - whether that’s purposefully or just through how they want to present themselves.

others try to avoid this in certain aspects (whether it’s through a lack of defending themselves, completely covering themselves up and dressing modestly, not expressing what they truly want to, etc) so that they don’t have to deal with people’s negative reactions. but people are still going to find an issue with your lack of expression. it’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. it always is with lilith.

when you finally embrace your lilith nature, people could perceive you as always looking angry or intimidating. especially in first impressions. this comes from lilith’s lesson that she learned earlier in life: that anytime someone views you as weak, they’ll assert their power and dominance over you. so you learn to become that way yourself: powerful and dominant.

^ when you finally drop this first layer that you meet people with, you’ll see people testing you. trying to overpower you after they’ve gotten to know you a little bit. they’ll mistake your gradually more open nature for you letting your guard down. they view you as weak in that moment. until you assert your defensive nature again to put them back in their place. they won’t try this with you at first, but as soon as they see an opening of - what they perceive to be - “a weakness”, they’ll try to dominate you. at this point, reasserting yourself is when they realise that they shouldn’t fuck with you again.

don’t let anyone get away with treating you like you’re able to be dominated. when you do, it’ll get worse. defend yourself. always. otherwise people will think that they can continue to overpower you. and the more you act like that type of behaviour is okay, the more you feel powerless. when you finally step into your power again, you’ll react in an extreme way to regain power from all of the times that you’ve felt disempowered due to that person. so don’t let it get to that point. stand on business when you need to. always 🗣️💯

^ and don’t mistake that for always being defensive. only bring that out when people are dumb enough to try you.

you may have also been shamed for focusing on yourself. called or treated like you were ‘selfish’ because of this. always being conditioned to never think of yourself and what you need. to just put others before you. that’s also another way that people drain your power and personal vitality. focus on yourself THE MOST. because when you don’t, people will constantly tug on your energy and start acting entitled to the energy that they know damn well you should be giving to yourself.

^ due to this, you’ll probably face negative reactions from people who feel entitled to being co-dependent on you when you finally decide that you want to focus on and prioritise yourself. fuck them. they benefited from you neglecting yourself and that’s why they’re mad that you’re putting in place boundaries. people expect you to forget about yourself too much. and they don’t take into consideration who you are as a person and what you need.

I’ve had this tweet saved for weeks thinking about how to apply it using my natal chart. I’ve been wanting to set up my altar for months but couldn’t think of how to get started - I had a small one up pre-renovation with some photos and trinkets. Anyhoo, I love these interpretations.

There are no planets in my Cancer-decorated 4th house, so I check in with its out-of-state landlord, the Moon. Where’s my Moon? Doing hoodrat things in my Mars-ruled 1st house of Aries. When I think of the energy of Aries, I think of being driven to take action; we have shit to do.

Applying that to the WHERE, the location of my altar, it seems it makes the most sense for a 1st house Aries Moon to place an altar by my front door. It could be the last thing I see as I head out into the world to do what I’m meant to do, and the first thing I see when I come in and need to ground myself back at home.

There’s a functional cart/shelf adjacent to my front door full of items that the Young Gems and I may need to get going. I could put a floating shelf above it that would be the base of the altar - out of reach of disruption, but in full view during the busiest routines of the day.

Looking to my 2nd house for items to add to the altar, we find my Venus and Mercury welcoming me to Taurus. It’s cozy as hell in here. I think of beautifully decorated objects, artistic things, luxurious scents.

I see myself adding some of my spare sari fabric and rotating with any of my headwrap fabrics, for lush texture. A Moroccan Amber reed diffuser for holy scent. My small sound bowl for accessible melodies. A very small quantity of fruit for taste. A full, 2nd house Venusian Taurean sensory experience.

Now, the 6th house serving as inspiration for rituals in this context is interesting to think about. There are no planets in my Virgo-decorated 6th house, so I check in once again with an out-of-state landlord, this one more Mercurial. Where’s my Mercury again? Bitch you guessed it. Taurus. How can I apply this to the act of ritual?

Well. Mercury is communication. Taurus rules the throat and indicates a harmonious voice with Venus and Mercury placements. So naturally as a Mercury-ruled 6th house native, I should explore talking to my ancestors as ritual. And maybe sing a little. Both coming and going.

Back to Cancer for a moment. This is what astrologers mean when they say a house is never truly empty, and this has extra meaning for me given that my Cancerian 4th house is the house of family, roots, home, private life, parents. I have no Cancer placements. And interestingly, none of my three children have Cancer placements either.

But many of the most significant people in my family, or who I once knew as family, have Cancer Suns. My mother has a Cancer Sun. So does my ex-spouse. So does my younger sister and one of my younger brothers. So do two of the three first cousins I grew up with. Not to mention one of my closest friends. So the 4th house is live and in 3D for ya girl.

With all that said, I feel I need to add some Cancerian elements to the altar to honor the spirit of the 4th house and the familial energy. I’m thinking some decorative pearls, seashells, iridescence.

Pearl is also the Youngest Gem’s middle name, and I have a lot of seashells on hand sent to me from…my Cancer Sun bestie.

More connections? The eldest Young Gem’s middle name is from my maternal grandmother, who will have a photo on the altar. Also, look at the date and time of the tweet if you hadn’t noticed the number syncs. The eldest Young Gem’s birthdate is a combo of 1s and 2s.

The middle Young Gem is a Virgo Sun, the sign of my 6th house of rituals.

Finally, seeing the number 1 repeat apparently means divine support and needing to trust myself and my guides. Seeing the number 2 repeat means a symbolic union/reunion. Those fit the altar themes. And my birthday this year will take me into the profection year of…none other than House 4.

Family Synastry

7th house synastry: The planet and house person can collaborate and support each other with their endeavors. Family members (especially siblings) can go through ups and downs. Since the 7th house can also rule over enemies, you can feel angry or at odds with your family members one minute, and the next minute it's all good!

Saturn 4th house: The Saturn person supports the houser and brings structure and balance to their life. Typically, the Saturn is the parents/older relatives and the houser is the child/younger (I have this synastry with both of my parents). At best, the Saturn person disciplines the 4th houser but at worst, the 4th houser can feel restricted.

8th house synastry: Relatives with this placement can feel like they understand eachother. (Especially if it's with Mercury, Venus Moon and Sun). The house person creates an open space for the planet person to feel comfortable. If it's with Mercury for example, the Mercury person feels like the house person lets them express themselves with no judgement (me and my sister have this).

Sun first house: The Sun person is protective over the house person and feels responsible over the house person. The Sun person helps the house person feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. This placement can be more common with older relatives/parents (the Sun) and younger ones/kids (house person).

Venus sextile Moon: The Venus person feels secure with the Moon person. They can bond over certain interests, such as the arts for example. This placement is quite intuitive, the Moon person knows the Venus one well and they feel quite comfortable and at ease with one another.

Uranus 5th house: This brings fun with both parties, but it's more eclectic. The Uranus person brings a unique and silly side and the 5th house person appreciates that. This dynamic can be a bit unpredictable at times, but is still as fun and spontaneous!

Your “Enemies”

This term has spread a lot of false and misleading interpretations when it comes to synastry. While enemies comes mainly from Vedic astrology which is something I study and prefer, we have to realize that their culture intersects astrology/religion (extremes are there) !!

6h/6th house - ENEMIES

-this house is about our daily lives, routine, health, pets and general employment. A person falling here could be seen as an “enemy” if they are demanding too much, interrupting your schedule or maybe their routine doesn’t align with yours. This is the disagreement usually. The main type of ENEMY to look out for is work-life and co- workers trying to compete with you, get your fired or pretending to cool while trying to take your spot.

7h/ 7th house - ENEMIES

-this house is about partnerships, connections and ideal relationships. Partnerships not only romantic but business wise as well. A person sn falling here is someone you make a “deal” with, enter a contract with or could be the person that hires you. The “enemy” in them could be them not holding up their end of a deal. Someone that shows a lack of honesty or disloyalty that makes you question the relationship in general. These seem to hit hard because of the upfront expectations and underlying “standard” you thought was there.

12h/12th house - ENEMIES

- this is the house of your internal thoughts, subconscious and dream world. It is the place of the autopilot mind on a daily basis, secrets and hidden desires. The “enemy” a person could show up as could be a close friend, lover or family member. A person that knows more about you anyone else. They may be able to understand the things you don’t say and because of that they can be likely to use your most inner self against you! If you get into a fight or conflict this person isn’t beyond exposing you. They may be able to see your weaknesses.
