Now here's a piece that I have wanted to do for a while, but simply haven't had time for

So here's some OC art again, this time of Murdoc who I cannot post without mentioning what an absolute piece of shit of a person this guy is. Love him for that, easily one of my best-written characters, although telling why that is is still a major spoiler for Mechanical Prayer

Pardon my french and passive-aggressiveness, but I think I am allowed to be a wee bit mad sometimes too

A lot of cosplayers do their costumes just for fun (I know I do), so it is really beyond me how some people feel like it is their job to criticize cosplayers, especially the people who have no idea what a complicated process making a cosplay is. If you really gotta say something, "wow I like character/series X!" and "nice costume!" are better alternatives, but if you really have nothing nice to say, shutting your trap is also a valid option.

I was supposed to edit an old art piece similar to this, but ultimately decided that I didn't like the composition of that one, so... Same idea, new art! (the neon billboard look is just so good)

So here is my OC Vida, who was actually the very first character I created all those years ago! Story-wise she is not all that important sadly, but the first is always the first, even if she has gone through multiple re-designs haha

thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.

Old-new art, I was supposed to touch this only a little bit, but I ended up re-drawing the entire thing instead- (I upped the resolution and played around with my new best friend FireAlpaca's symmetry tool) So anyway, here is one of my many characters Sona, the messenger of the Gods (and Dinari!)

Some people in fandom desperately need to become obsessed with something SUPER niche and obscure. Something with like 10 active fans at the very most. Something with only 6 fics if you're very lucky, all but one written by the same dedicated fan. Something where when you do find a fan account, it's been innactive for years. Something that's not available on streaming and its only physical release was never released in your country. Let it humble you.
