Prunus mellifera -- the Pecha berry

Long used for antidotes to mild toxins, Pecha berries are a well beloved fruit amongst trainers and Pokemon alike. It is honey-sweet with soft skin. Many trainer-frequented routes are planted with Pecha trees and can be a boon for an unprepared trainer suffering from a Weedle sting.

Aurantibacca cyanofera -- the Oran Berry

Oran berry fruit, in addition to being full of vitamins, is known to stimulate healing and recovery. Minor healing potions use Oran berry extract as a main ingredient. It shouldn't be confused with Oren berries, which look nearly identical apart from its blue cap. Oren berries are toxic to most creatures, though they are a staple food for a handful of specialized Poison-typed Pokemon.

Emergency Commissions Open

My fiancé has been referred to a hospital due to post surgery complications. We're tight on money due to medical expenses, so I have decided to open up my commissions. I have carpal tunnel (which is why my commissions were closed to begin with), so the slots are few and the delivery is going to be slower than my usual. If the slots get filled up I will probably add more once I'm done with them.

Only have full color headshots open rn for 40€, but if you'd want to help out with something cheaper DM me and we can figure it out. I do human, humanoid and furry characters!

I saw your sad post about the drawing tablet breaking. If I may ask, what kind was it?

Heya! Sure, it was a Huion Kamvas 22 plus. I bought it in 2021 with my first paycheck ever haha. Before that I had had a Wacom Cintiq 13HD since like... 2013 or so, so it was definitely a welcome change ( it still works btw, I gave it to a friend, those things are unkillable I guess).

And before that, I had a Bamboo Wacom! The tiny tiny one at like 30 bucks. Fun fact, I hated it at first and left it in a closet for like a year or two before rediscovering it and I never stopped drawing on tablet since then.

I'm looking into getting a second-hand Wacom now because I definitely think Wacoms are more reliable given how long my previous one lasted compared to the Huion, but also new ones are... Way.... Way too expensive.

Welp... Tablet died for good. It had been on and off for a bit but I think that's it... Haven't managed to make it work at all these last two weeks, even tried buying a new cable for it.

Just realized that, if luz brings belos to her home, vee is there. Imagining the horror from vee like "wtf?? Why is HE HERE??!!" And belos being confused and probably now realizing what really happened to "Experiment number 5".

Haha, yuup, Vee is there. Though she most likely hasn't seen or heard of Belos without his mask and Emperor outfit, so things would only get more awkward from there...

What inspired you to start drawing comics?

This one isn't so easy since it's a bit vague... but it's a great ask for me to ramble! TL:DR is that I've always kind of loved reading comics/mangas and wanted to make my own? If it's TOH specific, it's just because there are scenarios/jokes I'd wanna see drawn, so I do it lol

My brother had this huuge bookshelf filled to the brim with all kinds of mangas and I'd often spend time reading them growing up. I love stories! Even illustrations, I think, are basically telling a story with only one picture!

I had been wanting to draw comics but I didn't want to start until I was good enough for it, so I drew and studied a lot. I tried to draw comic pages in middle then high school based on my own characters and scenarios and I remember thinking it was soo hard. I had even tried drawing some Undertale comics at the time but I wasn't happy with it...

I think the best advice for motivation I can give would be to draw only for you and a few friends, even moreso at the beginning, keep it small. It's much less pressure and easier to experiment this way, plus you definitely have some friends who'll freak out if you draw their characters (if you rp, it's a really good inspiration!) For TOH specifically, I drew my first ones in a discord server because I wanted to illustrate some jokes, which I then felt were good enough to post, that's why my first toh comics are so sketchy lol. People really liked them so I thought I'd continue! Sometimes I see some written post that really inspires me, and other times my brain comes up with the stupidest jokes that I have to draw. I'm a hostage here, actually Soo... hopefully that answers your question? I have other fun TOH scenario ideas I wanna make but I defo want to go back to my own characters at some point because they're near and dear to my heart
