SPEAKING of the b.oy and the h.eron: i think every animation girlie (gender neutral) is a little traumatized by the fried rodent phoning in every fuckign voice performance he does yet still being cast in every single goddamn animated movie that i was so genuinely and pleasantly surprised by how fucking hard r.obert pa.ttinson committed to the Bit of being a malevolent little heron man with human teeth,

i saw the b.oy and the h.eron yesterday and like. its a beautiful movie with wonderful themes of grief and acceptance and full of gorgeous and dynamic animation. but. it also got the awful little hamster when in my brain spinning with livvy thoughts

i think a normal amount about leaning into like. cosmic horror with livvy. just this tiny little girl holding back the heat of planet devouring suns behind her skin and people not being able to look at the light coming off of her without feeling like they too are going to be reduced to ashes and cosmic dust.
