Tumblr is deleting accounts.

One of my friends who ran several blogs on the same account has just had his account entirely deleted.

I have heard that the reason for this is Tumblr is trying to crack down on NSFW blogs and content which in turn was due to the porn-bot problem ... rather than just adding some human verification steps and pattern recognition to the system.

Regardless, This has caused the Peepers blog to get deleted too, despite them being entirely SFW and adorable too.

I am in contact with the content owner of the Peepers (Amazin’ Arts / Matackable) and will update this post with any new information regarding his decisions on either creating a new account here on Tumblr for the Peepers or moving the home of the Peepers elsewhere.

Just Shapes & Beats

Developer: Berserk Studio Publisher: Berserk Studio Rrp: £15.49 (Steam) Released: 31st May 2018 Available on: Steam I had the opportunity to play this while attending this years Coxcon as a stall holder. You could hear the music from the other side of the hall. It was only a demo copy but I played that game every opportunity I got during the course of the weekend. I knew this was a game I had to own when I found that the music wasn’t irritating even after a entire weekend of it. Just Shapes & Beats is a rhythmic bullet hell and a damned good one too. The rules of the game are simple yet very effective, avoid the pink. Of course the screen gets very full of pink quite quickly, thankfully you have a dash ability that makes you impervious for the time of the short dash.

You can take several hits before your avatar dies, in that event the level rewinds to the most recent check point (except in boss battles where it goes right to the start of the track). However you also only get three tries before the level ends entirely forcing you to start all over again. The soundtrack to this game is very good, boasting some quite well known names in the video game world; Big Giant Circles, Sabrepulse and Bossfight to name a few. In fact I was so impressed with the games music that I bought the game and its soundtrack as soon as I was home.

Honestly there isn’t much more I can say, the game is a lot of fun and will be great at a party, especially since they included a ‘Party Mode’ that allows you to have the music and gameplay with no consequences for failure. And I’d be remiss to not mention that there is also local, public and private multiplayer available, which I have to say is insanely fun.

Because the UK customs people seem to have a stick up their ass most of the time ...

I have experienced the same situation with a US citizen being rejected entry for a non-work tourist visit up-to the max of a 6-month stay as is stated as legal. They got pulled aside because they had packed a larger suitcase with extra clothing and a few other bits, and the customs office just assumed that they were intending to be an illegal immigrant or something without even trying to contact or talk with their partner or myself whom were both waiting in the arrivals lounge for them. In the end, they were kicked out of the country with no spare cash at all, and with no plan for what to do next. It’s terrible, and it should never happen.

So, as a forward to anyone seeing this from my blog - please help Mumble. Not as an online personality or musician ... but as a human being who has been wrongfully separated from their partner because of a seeming prejudice against US citizens from UK border control.

So today was supposed to be amazing, but ended up being the worst day of my life.

I don’t know where to start. For the first time ever, I thought about killing myself today.

I just flew back to the uk from a 3 month trip in the states. It was a very stressful trip plagued with sudden money issues out of our control, and other things, but I also met the love of my life and got engaged! Which I would have loved to announce in happier circumstances, but… I can’t do that.

She flew back to the UK with me, with the plan being that she stay here for 6 months. It’s a long time, yeah, but we did our research and it’s a legal stay as a tourist in the UK. She would have been staying with me at my parents, rent free and fully supported as a guest of the house. But immigration pulled her aside for questioning and left me waiting.

For ten hours.

My dad and i were answering questions on the phone for them on and off every three hours or so and my dad was adamant that we were supporting her.

But she was turned away because they didn’t believe it in the end. She now has to take a flight home, without many of her belongings because we shared my suitcase too.

She’s being held until tomorrow in an immigration center then flying back. There’s an option if trying for immigration bail but it’s flaky at best and likely expensive.

This summer has left me broke and torn from my partner and I don’t know where to turn. I really don’t. Literally the only thing that solves these problems is money and I already came begging with nowhere to turn just last month.

Here’s some fucking icing for the cake to top it all off though.

My dad has cancer.

A rare kind with little known about it and they give him 5 to 10 years.

I want to vomit but I haven’t eaten in nearly a day now. I want to cry but I don’t want to make this car ride awkward. I want to be able to do something but I’m just… lost. All the money spent on the flight is just gone and I’ve let everybody down that already helped us through a rough patch.

I hate doing this but I have no idea where to turn… If you have literally any spare change of any amount you can donate below. It’s incredibly ugly and embarrassing of me to be asking this again but I’m determined to fix this as best I can but this world isn’t letting me do it alone. She doesn’t deserve this.
