when maka steps into the black room it would also be decorated like a wedding, but i was too lazy to draw that LOL

SOUL x MAKA WEEK 2025 PT.3

DAY 5: BITE I tried to make it look like Soul is calm and holding his newly-turned-vampire friend’s head through it all. I was going to add a bit of dialogue where he says “Don’t take too much, yeah?” but I think leaving it as is was better.

DAY 6: SUNDER Forced apart, reaching out. One is weakening, the other desperate. Idk these are the only mental notes I had while sketching this one out. I think it’s one of my favorites though.

DAY 7: FREE DAY I’ve always wanted to draw them just existing together. Felt like a nap was the best way to show it :’)

not only is it a traditional, but it was done with markers! (I hate them). I was so happy to take part in the week, draw soma and admire the work of others!! I love our community so much

i really wanted to draw them based of that one official art of them, and i was still experimenting with rendering style so outside lines r thick af in this one

The theme of music in their relationship is an important part and the reason for their numerous misunderstandings. Actually Soul is holding Miles Davis' album "Bitches Brew," which he wanted to let Maka listen to in the manga.

bingo "what part of the fandom do you belong to" (I'm half JP and half EN lmao) (RU fandom is in the middle)

One thing that’s funny to me about eng soul eater fandom is some of them headcanon Maka’s mom name to be “Kami” and I guess pirated ver Soul Eater mistranslated Spirit’s lines about his “Kami-san”(my wife in Japanese) as her actual name and yall just went with it since Maka also has her Japanese name 摩訶 and it kinda makes sense to have her mom an actual Japanese at that point.
