Woodscream inspired me to do some folk stuff, so have it.

I did 5 characters for now, I'll do the rest a bit later, cuz it's late and I have classes tommorow (or well... today actually)

Vanessa

She'd be Poludnitsa, aka Lady Midday. A spirit that appears during midday in the fields. It was forbidden to work during that time, and if one wes found breaking the rule - Poludnitsa could cut their head off or tickle to death. She also stole little children that were left unsupervised by their mothers.

There was good side to her too - she was guarding the harvest and brought fertility.

She could appear as a beutiful tall woman or an ugly old lady with a scythe, sickle or shears in a white dress.

Besically personification of midday and heatstroke.

Leon and Marlon

They'd be Volkolaks. Which is basically the same thing as werewolves. I don't think I really need to explain what's up with them.

My headcanon is that they were cursed and now have to live on the outskirts of the village if not in the forest.

Markus

Utopiec/Topielec - a spirit of water, souls of humans that died by drowning. They drag people into swamps and lakes. They have the appearance of tall, very thin people with slippery green skin, a large head and dark hair.

Imo he'd be Mavka. Although they're typically depicted as woman with long green/blue hair who lure men to their deaths, they can be both genders. According to popular beliefs, young children who die without baptism become Mavkas. Usually found on the swamps.

They also have a hole on their backs, exposing their insides, including the heart that isn't beating.

Honestly Jojo here looks almost nothing like them but oh well.
