ohh what ingredients do you use for lentil soup, are you following a recipe? i tried creating an amazing lemon red lentil soup i had once recently off the cuff and it did nottt come out the way i'd hoped! hope you're having a beautiful day <3

okay so the recipe I learned from mom is this. in a soup pot you put olive oil, onion and garlic. then quickly you add fresh cut tomatoes, a lot of carrots and celery. and one or two spoons of hrissa. and ofc the spices; keep it simple here. just salt, black pepper. you let simmer a bit then add water and let it cook till it boils. then add the red lentils that you washed before hand. let it all cook. and tada that's it. you can eat it like that or put in the mixer and make it smooth and homogeneous. bon appétit <3
