Why is there not something like OSHA for schools? Workplaces can be sued if their chairs aren’t comfortable and their keyboards cause arthritis but schools can literally stuff 35 kids in a classroom, give them chromebooks that will catch on fire with more than one tab open, and pray the ceiling doesn’t topple on top of them.
And yes, I know workplaces are able to be more comfortable because of competitive market allowing them to afford all their OSHA compliant stuff, but why do we as a society lower all the expectations of comfort for students?

Truancy laws and attendance policies are literal bullshit.
Explain to me how a students physical and mental health should be completely disregarded when school comes into the equation.
The moment you care to actually take care of yourself and do what is right for your body and mind, you’re treated like a delinquent the day you come back to school.
Why do we treat literal children like this.

My deepest darkest fantasy is that I collapse on the street and I am rushed to the hospital. They perform a bunch of tests and find out I am severely deficient in some kind of vitamin.
