"Duh! Beauty standards have changed, and it should've done that long ago because you are hot," added Apolline moving her index finger down his chest.

"Well that’s a relief it’s not a bad thing,not like it was years ago….Wait,so they think I’m..hot,well that’s the first time in a long time"

She gave a smile and responded, "In a good way of course. There's nothing bad about you to cause people to always stare at you."

"Apolline,nice to see you again".He said with a smile. "Really it’s impossible to take my eyes off me,me.In a good way or a bad way".

"Maybe they're staring at you while you run because it's impossible to take their eyes off of you?" suggested Apolline walking up to him.

"This exercising for the new year sucks and I wish people would stop staring at me while I run".Jake said before taking a sip from his water bottle.

"Oh, babe, i don't know. It depends on if the little guy would like to be all happy for once," she answered with a shrug.

Apolline took a sip of her wine hoping that the plan will actually pull off since it is doing quite decently so far.

Christian repeated in the same monotone showing little to no interest in their love story. He wasn’t entirely sure why they felt the need to indulge him in how they met, frankly he didn’t see love as anything that they should be celebrating. 

"If you’re really here to just make doe eyes at each other, I’m not going to get in your way." he was finding this a little childish really, whatever game Apolline was playing here.

He gave the man a tired glare, Christian’s words were definitely not directed at him. At least she’d found someone just as insufferable as she was… “Who’s your boyfriend?” he reluctantly asked, not that he needed to know or even wanted to know.

"Then what do you want, Apolline?" he half sighed sounding more patient than he actually was, this was just getting tedious.

Same here. I did not know that. They were always sugar candy that's all pastel and stuff.

Thank you,I’m glad that I have you to help me with choosing things. Oh yeah,they come in little tubes and they’re different colours,much different than the ones around here.

Well,that just means more skittles for me then. Don’t worry I’ll try to find something like that. I take it that they’re not the sort of Smarties I’m thinking about,the chocolate ones.

I'm not a fan of Skittles, so you can pick up a bag that has Skittles and stuff like Jolly Ranchers and Smarties. It is. I'm sure you won't. I can't eat all of this candy by myself.

If you let me have that type of power I will more than likely pick up Skittles are you sure you want to take that risk? Aww well it’s good to have best friend like me,I won’t hog them all.

"His name's Christian, babe," responded Apolline as she began to cuddle up to Jake to make the whole thing more believable.

She took a sip of her wine and nodded as she looked at Jake

"I'd be quite flattered, but I'm not so sure about the part where I leave you only only for us to make a circle holding hands singing kumbaya," she answered.

"Feeling’s mutual." he grumbled.
