track 7 from my album "dont touch me."
my goal with this track was to explore some new production techniques. i built the instrumental around a series of drum loops i recorded in mid 2021. i had an acoustic drum kit at the time, and set it up on one end of the garage, with my phone recording a voice memo on the opposite side. after layering guitar and keys over that, along with some additional percussion, i was left with one of my favorite instrumentals ive made. i want to say it almost has a trip-hoppy kinda vibe to it.

the closing track from my self titled first album, Queen of New Bedford.
this song is mostly about the uncertainty of living with bipolar disorder, and was pretty heavily influenced by a lot of the emo music i was listening to at the time. it has some of my favorite guitar countermelodies ive written.
