no offense but straight fans are the ones that always push pairings onto idols and harass them about ships and are generally intrusive but gay fans get labeled as predatory what kind of logic is that hmm. gay fans aren’t predatory for thinking that maybe their idol might be gay too. it’s the straight (usually girl) fans that take it to another level and get all up in the idols’ faces and i’m just so Tired of gay fans not being able to even express thoughts bc everybody assumes we’re just as bad as the straight fangirls who write fanfic about their favs and call it a sin. i am Tired of straight people commenting hanjoo on hansol’s pics for so long that he no longer feels safe around his friend on camera. i am so so so Tired of every straight fan who ships kaisoo or chanbaek or whatever the hell kind of ship but at the same time talks about lesbians being gross. i am Tired and i Hate this.

Nobinary Baekhyun; The Come Out Story

It started with Chanyeol.

“Baekhyun.. why do you still have Taeyeon’s clothes? I thought you burned the majority of them.” Chanyeol’s deep voice sent a shiver down Baekhyun’s spine as he makes a discerning face. How was he going to explain this time about the clothes in his closet. He had used the burning Taeyeon’s clothes excuse to it’s extent anymore and there would be questions as to whether they were still seeing each other and that’s a chapter he wanted to stay closed.

“What are you doing?”

“Exploring.”

“Why?”

“Is this a make-up kit?”

“You think this eyeliner is beautiful on the first try? Haha.” He laughed shyly as a soft blush graced his face. He couldn’t deny, all these questions were making him uncomfortable. Chanyeol had been his best friend for so long, you think it would be easy to just come out and tell him; Chanyeol was a slight bully to the other members, even if discreetly, he said some really mean things that once made Suho cry. So to say, ‘Chanyeol, I’m nonbinary, I don’t affiliate myself to any gender so I wear what I want’. He might not be as accepting.

“You’re right, you’re right.. you always look nice.” His voice went 3 tones softer before he can turn to Baekhyun. Baekhyun wore his home sweats and a regular band tee, his hair in a ponytail as he sat on his bed, regular Tuesday, a day without performing, a day of relaxation, one of those casual Tuesdays. Chanyeol smiled and sat on Baekhyun’s bed with the make up kit, and opened it up. Baekhyun hopped up and down excited in anticipation to play with make up ideas, ignoring his sick feeling in his stomach from earlier when Chanyeol asked him about his girl clothing. Just casual guy things, he supposed. He tilted Chanyeol’s head in a bright light, put on his real glasses and stared into Chanyeol’s eyebrows, casually tweezing them.

“Ya Chanyeol. Your eyebrows look like a jungle.”

“For Harambe to come back home.”

“You need to stop. Stop it. Don’t do this. Don’t do this Chanyeol, I will fuck you up right now.”

“I’ll fuck you right now.” Chanyeol said subconsciously. Baekhyun blushed and looked away, yanking out Chanyeol’s stray nasties. Chanyeol looked up to Baekhyun with one eye open and laughed, his other hand keeping his left eye close so Baekhyun can see properly.

“You think this funny?” Baekhyun whimpered and yanked another one of Chanyeol’s stray nasties.

“Hilarious honestly, you’re so cute when you’re flustered.” He chuckled. “Your choker is really cute on you too.” Baekhyun looked down at his neck, his choker had a bell on it and he played with it. It was rather cute, he bought it at a Hot Topics in America one day, window shopping after a tour. After admiring it for a little, Baekhyun focused back onto Chanyeol, which he suppose wasn’t the best idea, “so… why do you buy all these girl clothing, you’re not.. like trans are you?”

“Uh..” here it was, the big moment. Baekhyun stayed quiet and bit his bottom lip, Chanyeol sat up, looking at Baekhyun, one eyebrow done. They stared at each other in silence. Baekhyun’s cheeks furiously turned red as he looked away.

“Baekhyun, you can tell me alright, it’s fine.”

“Alright don’t laugh..” He took a breath, “I’m nonbinary.”

“Non.. what?”

“Like..I’m not.. identified as a guy.. or a girl.. I’m just…”

“There?”

“Those clothes in the closet? I bought them by myself.” He said quietly and looked down. Chanyeol just kept staring. He then laughed and kisses Baekhyun’s cheek. Baekhyun was taken aback, and blushed.

“That’s cool Baek.. so are you just like a ghost in the limbo or something or maybe like are you like one of those things.. are you a tree, do you reproduce asexually?” Baekhyun sighed and laughed, there goes dumb old Chanyeol, back at it again. Baekhyun put Chanyeol underneath the light again and started doing his other eyebrow, yanking each nasty stray out.

“No I’m still very much human and alive, and I reproduce by putting the thing in the thing and pushing.. I just don’t usually go by male or female pronouns.. I’ll answer to he, him.. but I’ll also answer to Them.. they. It’s alright.. I’m still your Baekkie, Yeollie.”

“Yeah I know.. I’m surprised, but I accept you Baekhyunnie.. that’s cool.. so will you be trying on dresses and skirts?”

“I mean if I want to, I know you like when I’m wearing my thighs high socks.” Baekhyun smugly nudged Chanyeol whose cheeks went red quickly.

“I-I have to admit that you’re very..” He gulped, Baekhyun laughed and wiped Chanyeol’s eyebrows with rubbing alcohol to keep it from burning. He’s glad nothing would change between him and his best friend. But that’s Chanyeol though, what about the others…?
