Cheng Hoon Teng Temple@ 25 Jalan Tokong, Malacca, Malaysia. The oldest functioning temple in Malaysia, it is situated close to Jln Tukang Emas, aka "Harmony Street" because of its close proximity to the Kampong Kling Mosque and Sri Poyatha Moorthi Temple. Over 4,600 sq metres, it was built in 1645 by Kapitan Lee Wei King with materials imported from China. Served as the main place of whorship for the local Hokkien community, the main hall was built by Kapitan Chan Ki Lock in 1704 & rebuilt by Kapitan China Chua Su Cheong in 1801. In 2003, Cheng Hoon Teng was awarded a UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration. Love to visit Cheng Hoon Teng?
