hey! i'm not trying to defend weird content, just hoping this makes you feel better: elizabeth is actually somewhere between 19-20, not 16. she was born in 1893 (which is confirmed by both a calendar on booker's desk in the flashback and a timeline exhibit in the hall of heroes, so it was 1893 in both universes) and the game takes place in 1912, so she was 19 at the youngest the first time we see her. it was also confirmed by ken levine that it's correct!
