It's been a while since I posted my Winx redesigns, but I still have a few unused drafts that I would like to share with you! They are not much different from the final result, but they are worth a look as well.
Flora & Stella!
I apologize to those who wanted to see other versions of Flora. Since this is not my first drawing of flower child Flora, I managed to find exactly what kind of clothes I need and did not draw other outfits.
But Stella is different! Although her clothes remains the same, I thought for a long time about what color to choose for her dress. I still don't know which of the three suits her best. What do you think?
Musa & Tecna!
I went a long way to find the outfit for Musa. I wanted to separate her from Aisha and Bloom's style and at the same time preserve her personality. I replaced her hip-hop with rock, it seems that something similar happened in the series.
I was afraid to spoil Tecna's style. I really wanted not only to add cyberpunk as a renovation, but also to keep the original raypunk vibe. The idea of a jumpsuit + full bodysuit and the condition not to add unnecessary accessories greatly limited the variety of outfits, as compensation, I undressed her a little. The pose of her hands refers to someone who is also an icon of retrofuturism, you can try to guess.
Bloom & Aisha (Layla)!
I like that Bloom's first wardrobe is similar to what teenagers wore in the noughties. I wanted to keep her connection to the Earth, so I took casual clothes. I also noticed that Bloom often wore knitted clothes (sweaters, jumpers, leg warmers) ((her second pet is a sheep, think about it)), but I didn't want to add one here, so instead braided her small braids, a little like stitches. Kiko was subjected to a brutal act of yassification.
For Aisha/Layla, I wanted to create such an outfit so that she could use it for walking, for hiking, for swimming and for slaying. I added a swimming bodysuit instead of a top and a mesh fabric resembling a fishing net as a reference to the sea kingdom. You can also find sea knots on the drafts.
Well, that's it! Thank you very much for your warm welcome to my fairy redesigns… and for reading this whole bunch of text!
