been wanting to do a fun vaguely chaotic comic version with a n-b transmasc love interest since literally 2018

the inherent absurd comedy (tragicomedy?) of people assuming you're cis or straight despite literally all the evidence

got very into pre-victorian queer history, generally v interested in real histories of marginalised people that rarely get taught in schools

decolonial undertones... come for the lovely fun queer romance, stay for the gateway ideas deconstructing the regency genre...
