He could only imagine the councils reaction to tonight’s events. What mattered was that he completed his mission — not the fact he’d manage to destroy not one , but two ships in the process.

THERE WAS MISCHIEF IN THE SENATORS EYES WHEN HE SAW THE JEDI. The way he leaned against the wall he easily seemed bored as he examined his nails a moments. “ I’ve had an attempt on my life yet again though I’ve assured the Jedi council I don’t need an escort. ” he looked to him and crossed his arms over his chest. Shamelessly he looked Obi-Wan up as though he were purposely trying to be obvious.

“ well , for someone as charming as you it may not be so bad — but I can still handle my own life. ” He knew there was no turning turning him away , this was happening no matter what he said. Deep down he was almost relieved that someone had been sent. It seemed everytime he turned around there was a bounty hunter knocking down his door. He couldn’t be sure who was after him and in all honesty he didn’t care. What mattered was that the Jedi could keep their word and protect him against the hunter. Though he’d never find himself admitting such a thing.
