Been seeing a lot of posts lately that discuss ways magical healing can be a little more interesting and carry on with the whump rather than just nixing it, so I'll throw in my 2 cents: magical healing that has to actively reverse the damage done in order to work.

Meaning as in, whatever happened to the whumpee happens again, only in reverse. You've got a stab wound in your side? Okay, the feeling of being stabbed is going hit you all over again but in a weird, unnatural feeling way that's somehow worse, the fibres of your muscles and flesh and skin will knit back together and you're going to feel like a knife is being drawn out of your body the whole time it's happening. Also it takes twice as long -- things take longer to rebuild than to destroy etc etc

IDK I just love that Todoroki loves soba

I love the running joke that Todoroki LOVES cold soba more than anything else. I would love to know how many times it's mentioned in the series if anyone knows!? Every time he says "soba" I literally kick my feet like he's so cute he just really really loves this one thing and wants everyone to know.

The School Festival arc has one of my fave Soba moments - the class is pitching ideas to Ida and Momo for their school festival project and Shoto says "Soba Stand" and Ida just calls out encouragingly "It is your favorite!" and it's so silly but also I'm like. Omg. Everyone knows and remembers. They love him so much in that freakin' class, they know he likes cold soba.

Also in You're Next when he is in the dream sequence (sad af, btw) you can hear him saying something along the lines of "let's all get soba" to his dream family idk soba soba soba Todoroki soba that's all I can think about in my tired brain rn.
