While only one sheet up, it’s all the prep work that takes time. I’ve purposefully avoided pictures of the house because I hated the no skirting. Expect to see many pictures if the house and skirting now!nonstop!
This has driven me nuts for a few years. I was always gonna build a rock or stucco skirting and I just can’t get it done. So a custom metal skirt which will be easier and faster. (Another way of saying I’m getting lazier as I get older!)
My sister gave me NED for Christmas. His details are amazing.
When I visited her and the rest of my family last year, she also got me the cactus as a joke, since I rarely leave TX and she wanted me to”to feel comfortable”.
My grandma gave me the horse, evidently a pair sat on my grandpas dresser. I don’t remember that but glad she gave me them and I think of them every morning as I dress.
Windmill, a gift from friends last Christmas also.
Almost exactly 8 years ago I made a conscious decision to leave the city life behind and move to a tiny desert community. Last Friday I volunteered to help a coworker bring 10 students to a student council conference. I haven’t been around this many people during those 8 years. 3000+
Part of me sometimes misses the city, the conveniences, the concerts, the culture, but I don’t think I’ll ever miss just being around large groups of people. It was very jarring for me.
