Completed year nine with graduation tonight. Seems like yesterday or 100 years ago at the same time. Teaching has become public enemy no. 1 in Texas.

Almost exactly 10 years ago. WOW, crazy to think about it. Left central Tx for W Tx in less than 2 months. Look at all that green grass and water.
I don’t miss Austin traffic, but I do miss this time of year in central Tx. The smell of fresh cut grass, listening to baseball games on the radio, wildflowers in the front pasture. Every once in awhile I really miss it, but I also know that it’s all changed so much since I left.
Across the street was 250 acres of raw land that ,y neighbor would let me ride Diego on any time I wanted. It has since been developed into ranchettes.
Funny that this picture and memory came up, as a vision I’ve had out here in WTx is finally coming through and we are moving forward with a big project. One that I’ve been working in for about 20 years.
