Dua in Islam is a prayer and supplication, all your senses, feelings, and thoughts are directed to god almighty, and dua qunoot is a particular supplication that the prophet Peace be upon him, performed and his companions did.
dua qanoot has more than one form narrated from the prophet PBUH, and all of them are true, in addition to those forms, imam can also increase statements that include the incidents and calamities that have befallen our nation.
During our talking about dua qunoot via this article, we will recognize that the prophet PBUH performed it in calamities and misfortunes, and also it was aligned with al witr salah, this is a sign of the great status and value of the dua kanoot for Muslims.
what is dua Qunoot?
dua quonoot is a prayer, and before talking about what it is, we will explain the meaning of the word Qunoot:
The word Qunot is an Arabic word that has more than one meaning according to what has come in Quran and sunnah, as follows:
Submissive obedience
Allah said in Al Ahzab surah, verse 35;
“Al qaniteen wal Qantaat”
In this verse, Allah showed us ten attributes whose owners will deserve great mercy and great reward, one of those attributes is submissive obedience.
In the same meaning Allah said in surat Al Nahl, verse 120:
(120) Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader,[qanitan] devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah.
Submissive silence:
Here silence is, refraining from permissible speech, except for dhikr and supplication as in surat Al Bakarah, verse 238:
Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly (speechless) obedient.
In the meaning of silence, the prophet PBUH said in the authentic Hadith:
(Verily, in this prayer, nothing of the people’s speech is permitted, rather it is glorification, the takbeer, and the recitation of the Qur’an.
Prayer:
In the authentic Hadith when the prophet was asked” what is the best prayer” he answered the long qunoot.
Allah said in the verse no 9 surat al zomor:
Is one who is devoutly obedient praying (qanitan) during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.
As prostrating and standing means performing prayer.
Finally, dua kanoot is defined in Islamic terminology, as a particular supplication that was legalized at a particular time and prayer, in a particular form, and in a particular place in the prayer( the last rakaah).
is dua qunoot in Quran?
As we previously mentioned, the different conjugations of the Arabic word qunut were mentioned in Quran. Qanitan which means the devoted obedient, qaniteen, and qanitat which means the obedient men and women, but duas for qunoot formula were mentioned only in the authentic Sunnah.
when to read dua qunoot?
dua qanoot is a supplication that could be read after the standing from rukua’a in the last raka’a, and the scholars mentioned different prayers where our beloved prophet peace be upon him, used to perform dua qunoot in them, but first, we will mention the formulas of duas for qunoot.
dua qunoot formulas
Those formulas for dua qunoot have been narrated by the companions of the Prophet, PBUH, either as a description of what the Prophet was doing or a description of what the Companions used to do. it’s permissible to combine them during performing dua kanoot.
Al-Hasan bin Ali's narration
Al-Hasan bin Ali [may Allah be pleased with him] said:
Allah's Messenger taught me some phrases to say during Al-Witr 'O Allah guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, befriend me among those You have befriended, bless me in what You have granted, and save me from the evil that You decreed. Indeed You decree and none can pass a decree, and none can pass decree upon You, indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended, blessed are You our Lord and Exalted.
Ali bin Abi Talib narration
On the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him: ((The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – was saying at the end of his witr
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your anger, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You, I cannot praise You, as You have praised Yourself.
There are different interpretations of the phrase at the end of his witr, some scholars explained it as it’s Dua sujood and others said that it’s dua qunoot, and it’s permissible in both positions.
Urwa bin Zubair narration
O God, it is You we worship, and to You, we pray and prostrate, and to You, we seek and strive, and we hope for Your mercy, our Lord, and we fear Your grave punishment. Your torment is attached to the infidels.
The Positions of dua qunoot
The scholars mentioned various positions for dua qunoot, and they are:
Qunoot al witr
The prayer can use any of the previously mentioned formulas in witr salah after standing from ruku’a before prostration.
Qunoot al nawazl(calamities):
If there is a position that a prayer would be answered, this is that position. Here is the greatness of the Creator, and the weakness of the creature is revealed, here we turn to Allah with our weakness, complaining to Him about the injustice of the oppressors and the betrayal of the traitors.
Allah said in al naml surah, verse 62:
Who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember(62)
And now will tell a story of calamity and betrayal, when the prophet performed dua qanoot in the last raka’ah of each mandatory prayer for a whole month supplicating Allah to destroy the traitors.
Bir maunnah massacre
Praise be to God, He afflicts the believers with the unbelievers, and the reward of the doers of good is not lost. Here the treachery of the unbelievers is manifested and the surrender of the companions to the martyrdom is revealed, the death for the sake of Allah is the greatest goal and wish.
Muhammad, our beloved prophet PBUH, sent seventy Qur'an reciters to Najd to teach them the teachings of Islam, those reciters were among the best of the companions.
They didn’t go to fight, although if they had known that the matter required war, they would have been worthy of it and its people, however, they were taken treacherously when the Bani Amer tribe pledged to protect them.
It was a severe affliction and calamity for Muslims, a great betrayal and injustice, here the prophet kept performing dua qanoot supplicating on ra’el and Zakwan tribes, the betrayed tribes.
how to learn dua qunoot?
As we previously mentioned, dua qunoot is worship and our source for learning worship is the Quran and the sahih sunnah.
So, we will do as the prophet and his companions did and will follow in their footsteps without deviation.
Dua qunoot is performed in the last raka’ah before the prostration.
You could raise your hand opened in front of your face.
We will use one of the narrated formulas for dua qunoot, and it’s permissible to increase as needed.
It’s permissible to wipe your face with your hands after completing the supplication.
It can be performed a lone or with the imam.
is it necessary to recite dua e qunoot in witr?
Witr salah is a permissible salah, that Muslims will be rewarded for its performance and won’t be punished for leaving it, as is dua qunoot.
Summary
Dua qunoot is a particular supplication with a special value in Islam.
Dua qunoot aligned with witr salah, this particular salah that adhered to night prayer, the holy time of silence. All people are sleeping and just the devoted obedient came to sake Allah's satisfaction, dua in this situation is most likely to be answered.
Dua qunoot is one of the arrows of the oppressed that don’t miss, resorting to Allah who never disappoints his servants. Here, the weak creator will be strengthened with the support of the Almighty creator against those who thought that they will never be defeated.
There is more than one formula for dua qunoot and using any of them or using them all is permissible.
Finally, dua is a magic weapon that never dismisses, at qunoot or at any time, praying, walking, and even in your bed, although it’s not mandatory, you will lose a great good, protection, and help by leaving it.

Praise be to ِAllah who forgives sins and accepts repentance, with his entire knowledge he diagnoses the disease, and with his entire mercy he prescribed the cure, which is “astaghfirullah”.
Astagfurillah is a great ِInvocation of Allah, the Almighty lord knew that his weak servant will make mistakes, so He revealed seeking forgiveness, and with His mercy, He will accept.
ِAlthough, all the prophets are Infallible, they supplicated forgiveness from Allah, so it’s more precisely that the weak sinners seek Allah’s forgiveness.
As Allah revealed to Noah PBUH to teach his people to say astagfurillah, in order to increase their sustenance, our prophet also was commanded to teach us al istighfar to reach the great degrees in world life and in the life after.
what does astaghfirullah mean?
Astaghfrulla is a great invocation and supplication, and it’s an Arabic statement that Muslims should say in Arabic and understand its meaning quietly.
astaghfirullah in arabic
Astafallah is an Arabic expression that is composed of two words, and they are:
Astagfer: This is an Arabic verb that means seeking forgiveness and pardon
Allah: our lord the forgiver and the merciful, we seek his forgiveness, hope for his mercy, and fear his torment.
The Arabic scholars said that Al Istigfar means to hide or cover, so astagfurillah is also asking Allah to hide our sins and shortcomings between the creatures in world life and in the life after.
Saying astaghfrulla by your tongue must settle in your heart and soul, it’s not only words to be repeated, it’s a sincere supplication with devotion to the Almighty merciful lord who we love and fear.
when to say astaghfirullah?
Previously, we talked about the meaning of astafallah, and according to this meaning you could imagine it’s aligned only after doing sins but actually, this is not true.
Astaghfirullah is one of the invocations that Muslims say during the day and night, and now we will mention some positions that astaghfirullah is preferable in:
after performing worships
The most important place for Muslims to say astaghfirullah is after finishing performing the different kinds of worship, because of some reasons and they are:
1-It is a form of complete submission to God, the Blessed and Most High, who commanded us to do so, Allah said in surah al Baqarah verse no 199:
Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Here, Allah commanded the pilgrims after tawaf al Ifadah(one of the hajj Rites) to say astagfurillah.
2-following the sunnah of the prophet Muhammad PBUH, on the authority of Abu Hurairah may Allah please him, that he listened to the prophet saying that he Seek forgiveness and repent from Allah more than seventy times per day.
3-Ask God to pardon any shortcomings that may occur in worship until we receive the full reward and our prophet PBUH was saying astaghfrulla three times after finishing each prayer.
After sins
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet PBUH said: “All offsprings of Adam make sins, and the best of sinners are those who repent.”
Repent in Islam by saying astaghfirullah wa atoob elaih and we should remember that repenting and seeking forgiveness is not only by repeating words with our tongue, but we should confess guilt, regret, and determination to not make it again.
Kafarat al majlis prayer
On the authority of Abu Hurairah may Allah please him, that he listened to the prophet PBUH saying:
“Whoever sits in a gathering and utters a lot of useless talk in it, then he says before he gets up from that gathering: Glory is to You, O God, our Lord, and praise be to You, I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You. But forgive him what his council was in it.
Morning and evening Invocations:
Shaddad bin Aus, May Allah please him, narrated that the Prophet PBUH said:
“The best manner of asking for forgiveness,” said al istighfar” is to say: “O Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I know my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.” Whoever says it during the day, he is certain of it and dies from his day before the evening, then he is from the people of Paradise, and whoever says it during the night, and he is certain of it and dies before the morning, then he is from the people of Paradise.”
Funeral prayer” salatul janazah”
Praise be to Allah the greatest forgiver and merciful, although during our life he told us what to do from worship and seeking forgiveness to avoid his torment in the life after, he gave us the endless chance even after death, and one of those ways to seek Allah's mercy and forgiveness for our deads in the funeral prayer.
During this prayer in the third raka’a our prophet, PBUH taught us to seek Allah’s forgiveness and mercy to the dead one and to all the Muslim dead.
Night pray’ al Sahar pray” qiyam”al tahjud”
ِallah said in surah al zariat verse no 18;
(18) And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness.
This is a great time that the prophet taught us to pray and ask Allah everything we want, and what is greater than asking forgiveness from Allah?
how to say astaghfirullah?
Saying astafallah in Islam has been mentioned in many forms in the Quran and sunnah as follows:
In Quran
1- Allah sain in surat AAl Imran verse 147
"Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
2-Allah said in surah al moemnon verse 109;
'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
3-in surat al moemnon verse 118
"My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
In sunnah
1-O God, I have wronged myself greatly, and no one forgives sins except You, so forgive me with forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me, You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
This dua the prophet PBUH taught Abou Bakr al Sedik, may Allah please him, to say during the prayer.
2-On the authority of Zayd, the servant of the Prophet - PBUH- that he heard the Messenger of God - may PBUH saying: ((Whoever said: I seek forgiveness from God, who has no deity but He, the Everlasting, the supporter of the whole universe, And I repent to him; he will be forgiven, even if he fled from the crawl).
3-Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me, for You are the Most Merciful.)
astaghfirullah benefits
1-God’s acceptance of the seeker of forgiveness and his joy at his repentance.
2-Deliverance from the torment of the hereafter
3-High grades in the hereafter
4-Accompanying the Prophet in Heaven
5-sustenance increase, and good conditions in the hereafter
6- facilitate obedience, worship, and the righteous way.
7-alleviation of suffering, removal of sadness, and facilitating life affairs.
how many times should you say astaghfirullah after prayer?
It was reported on the authority of Thawban that he said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished his prayer, he would ask God’s forgiveness three times and said: “Oh God, you are peace and from you is peace, you are blessed, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.”
Summary
Astaghfirullah is a great remembrance of Allah, which the prophet taught us to abide by at all times day and night.
Muslims have a deep faith that world life is temporary and perishable, so all Muslims seek forgiveness from Allah to restore life after that will be immortal.
The prophet taught us that we will be with whom we love and follow in the life after, saying astagfurillah as he taught us will ensure our companionship with the prophet PBUH.

Warning people and warning them of the negligence that people had before the advent of the Prophet Muhammad - may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
Tafseer of verses 33 to 73:
These verses are divided into two parts:
1- Reminding the blessings of Allah Almighty, such as reviving the earth after its death by raining down on it and bringing out all kinds of plants from it.
And among Allah's blessings also created the night and the day and made them alternate, for the night removes from it the light of the day and replaces it with darkness, and Allah also removes this darkness and the sun rises.
2- Fear of doomsday
Allah the Highest tells about the infidels and about their exclusion and denial of the Day of Resurrection, so Allah - the Highest.
Will reply to them that the first puff will take them heedlessly while they are quarreling in worldly matters, so they cannot recommend it because of the hour when it will not allow them to do anything.

Allah - the Highest - commands His Prophet Muhammad to address the polytheists and tell him who said to him: Who revives bones when they are restored?

how does modern standard Arabic differ from Arabic dialects?
The Arabic language is a rich and complicated language, as we said before the are Arabic can be divided into three types:
1-The classical standard language
2-modern standard Arabic
3-Arabic dialects
So according to this there is a difference between modern standard Arabic and Arabic dialects, and firstly we will talk about the Arabic dialects, and modern standard Arabic separately.
Arabic dialects
Dialects are a particular form of language related to a particular group of people, not only between countries but also you could find differences between cities and regions in the same country.
Here, it's the verbal language that is used between community members to communicate, it’s not the form of language which is used in studying or politics, but it’s essential to learn and use if you want close communication with a particular community.
The reason for the difference between the Arabic dialects is because of two reasons:
1- the first one is Isolation and boundaries that make each group of people have special characteristics that differ from others, the isolation may be because of natural factors, for example; those who live in the desert are far away from those who live beside the sea.
2-the second reason is due to imperialism, that the different Arabic countries suffered from, like Algeria, suffered from french colonialism, you could differentiate the Algerian dialects by the effect of the french language in it.
So, learning dialects is very important for communication and also for recognizing the different factors that different countries faced.
standard modern arabic
As we explained before it’s the modern version of the classical Arabic word to be aligned with the world changes, modern standard Arabic alphabet is the same as the classical Arabic, but there are other differences like the acceptance of the modern standard Arabic the foreign punctuation and symbols.
So finally the difference between modern Arabic and the dialects, is that the modern standard arabic is the form that is used in formal ceremonies, learning, and research, but the dialects are the verbal communication form of Arabic language.
Summary:
modern standard Arabic is the Arabic language in the modern form, the classical one is mainly used in the quran and Islamic sciences, but the modern standard Arabic is used in politics, media, news, lectures, and others.
modern standard Arabic differs from the classical language to match the changes of the present world,
It helps to raise the language of the communities and decrease the effect of the colloquial because it’s easier and more flexible.
Learning modern standard Arabic will facilitate your journey in learning and communicating with Arab communities and cultures.

Tajweed rules are the science that shows the rulings and rules that must be adhered to when reciting the Noble Qur’an according to what the Muslims received from the Messenger Mohamed.
By giving each letter its right, a way out, a description, and a movement, without pretension or arbitrariness, as rules of tajweed also include many aspects, which we will learn about through the paragraphs of our article.
what are the tajweed rules?
The rules of tajweed are the mastery of reciting the Qur’an, in the form that Allah revealed to His Noble Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
As quran tajweed rules in the language is the mastery of a thing, and they are linguistic rulings developed by scholars of the Qur’an, Sharia, and language in order to be learned by every Muslim keen to recite the Qur’an well.
Moreover, reciting according to these rulings is one of the most important things that help us to recite and not sin which can happen in the case of improper reading of the Qur’an and changing the meaning during recitation.
how many tajweed rules are there?
The tajweed rules of the Quran have many aspects that every Muslim who wishes to recite the Quran must learn, and these rules we will learn about through the following points in detail:
1- Rulings on nun sakina and tanween
These rulings, in turn, are divided into many aspects that appear in the reading of the Qur’an and through the letters that are pronounced in the various verses of the Qur’an, and these aspects are:
Izhar: It is what is known as the statement of the letter and its pronunciation is apparent and not hidden, and the letter is taken out from its correct exit without ghunnah.
Where the nun or tanween must be shown when meeting, with one of the following letters: “hamza, kha, ha’a, ha’, ain, and ghain.”, such as Allah saying:
As for the tanween, it does not meet the letters of manifestation except in two separate words, such as the saying of Allah:
Idgham: The meaning of Idgham is the insertion of a thing into a thing or the meeting of the consonant letter with the vowel letter, so they become one letter that has intensity.
Al-Iqlab: The meaning of that in the rules of intonation is the transformation of a thing in a way other than its original face, and here we find it, for example, in inverting a letter in place of a letter, taking into account the sound of ghana.
Ikhfaa: As for ikhfaa, it is the last intonation rulings related to the consonant nun and the tanween, and the word ikhfaa is to conceal, as for what is between slurring and uttering, with the sound of ghunna remaining, and it is done with the rest of the letters in the sentences.
2- The strict provisions of the meem and the nun
It is one of the easy rulings in the science of Tajweed, as it is related to the aggravated pronunciation of the meem or the nun, the movement is the amount of the two movements and the time required to hold the finger and open it, such as the letters ghunna.
As for the rulings of the static meme, they are carried out through three rulings, which are:
Ikhfaa: that is, by concealing the static meme from its meeting with the letter 'ba', such as the Almighty's saying:
This ruling is called by the scholars of Tajweed oral ikhfaa because its letters come out of the lip.
Idgham: It is the idgham of the static meem when it meets the letter mem, and this is in my case if the meem is original or reversed from the static nun and tanween, such as the Almighty's saying:
Izhar: where the static meem must be shown when it meets all the letters, with the exception of the letters meem and baa.
3- The provisions of the madd in recitation
Natural madd: It is the madd for which there is no cause and does not remain a waqf without a waqf, or what proves a connection without a waqf, including what proves a connection and a waqf.
Sub-madd: It is the madd, which in turn is divided into two types, and it is the sub-madd that takes place because of the hamz, which is the badal and similar to the badal.
Through its completion by changing the second hamza to the letter madd, the genus of the first hamza, in the event that the first hamza is consonant and the second is vowel like the word (ءَاتَواْ)
This differs from the similar to the badal, which results from the letter madd occurring after the hamz, and it is worth noting that the badal and the similar to the badal extend by two movements.

Some of the people of knowledge said that the tajweed rules of the quran are different, as we find from them what is obligatory to learn and what is desirable to learn.
And the duty of the science of Tajweed is that the Muslim learns the correct vowels, so it is not permissible for a Muslim to read the Qur’an without knowledge of the tajweed rules.
Based on this saying, whoever learns the rules of tajweed and does not apply the obligatory ones when reading the Qur’an with them is considered a sinner, and whoever limits himself to what is required of them is not considered a sinner.
From here, we conclude, that memorizing the Qur’an without learning the obligatory rules of tajweed is not permissible. As It is not permissible to memorize the Qur’an without knowing the rulings on the letters, how the letters are pronounced, and the exact output of each letter.

Tajweed rules Chart
The science of Tajweed is divided into two parts:
1-The practical Tajweed: It is the reading and recitation of the Noble Qur’an as it was revealed to the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him -, as the Messenger - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - was the first to put it down because he was a messenger of Allah - the Highest.
It should be noted that the importance of practical Tajweed appears in the fact that it is a reason for controlling the performance of the reader, and for an accurate understanding of the matters of recitation.
Especially since limiting reading from books on the science of Tajweed does not achieve the desired proficiency in reciting the Holy Qur’an unless this is accompanied by receiving it from the master teacher.
2- Theoretical scientific Tajweed: It is the knowledge of the rules and rulings related to reading the Noble Qur’an, as the source from which the theoretical material was formulated is the practical intonation, and as for its ruling for the general public, it is recommended, and for the elite among them who are the ones who deliberately reciting and reading the Qur’an.
Finally, tajweed rules are the science that investigates the ways of pronouncing the letters and taking care of their exits and qualities, and the rulings that are presented to them and related to that.
As rules of tajweed aim to avoid mistakes and pitfalls, moreover the tajweed rules include the rules of the silent nun and the tanween, the rules of the silent meme, In addition to many other tajweed rules of the Quran, which we mentioned in detail through the paragraphs of our article.

Surah Kahf first 10 verses benefits and lessons, It was named surah kahf for the divine miracle that was in the story of the Companions of the Cave, and it is one of the Al-Mien Surahs, that is, one of the Surahs whose number of verses exceeds a hundred or nearly a hundred, and it follows these seven long Suras.
As mentioned in the merits of the first ten ayats of surah kahf, there are specific hadiths, including what came from Abu Al-Darda’, may Allah be pleased with him. That the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
what is surah al kahf about?
Surah al kahf mentioned four stories: the people of the cave, the owner of the two gardens, Moses, peace be upon him, Al-Khidr, and Dhul-Qarnayn, as we can summarize the purposes of this noble surah in the following points:
1- Guiding the servants to praise Allah Almighty for His great grace by sending down the Noble Qur’an without crookedness to warn the polytheists and give good tidings to the believers.
And to clarify the Prophet’s keenness to guide his people, and to entertain him by mentioning these four stories and the many lessons and benefits they contain.
2- Mention the story of the Companions of the Cave and the affliction of the monotheistic servants of Allah and their flight from their religion.
3- Confirmation of resurrection.
4- The commandment to be steadfast in the religion, to adhere to the righteous, and to keep away from everything that preoccupies the matter of the Hereafter.
Such as the adornments of this world, and the Almighty says:
5- A clarification of what Allah has prepared for those who obey him, and what Allah has prepared for those who disobey him.
6- Mention the story of the owners of the two gardens, and set an example for the one who is deceived by the mortal world.
8- Mention the story of Moses, peace be upon him, with al-Khidr, and the great benefits that it contains from the expanse of the knowledge of Allah Almighty and his honor for his guardians, and the statement of morals related to the teacher and the learner.
9- Mention the story of Dhul-Qarnayn and the reasons given for kingship and empowerment for his establishment of Allah judgment on the scales of justice, taking at the hands of the corrupters, and aiding the oppressed.
10- Allah mentioned some of the scenes on the Day of Resurrection and the state of the disobedient groups and their fate in the Hereafter, as well as what Allah promised His faithful servants of gardens of bliss.
11- A statement that there is no end to the knowledge of Allah Almighty, nor to His words, and an explanation of the humanity of Muhammad.
May Allah prayers and peace be upon him, and his honor with revelation. The Almighty said:
when to read surah kahf?
Surah al kahf is one of the surahs that is desirable to read on Friday, as it is desirable to read first 10 verses of surah kahf on friday and surah kahf first 10 verses is a light between the two Fridays, as was reported on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri - may Allah be pleased with him:
Also, the recitation of surah al kahf is not specified in a time, rather it is at any time of Friday, whether at the beginning, end, or middle of the day, without specifying any place, so it is valid in the mosque, or on the way to it, and other places.
As The day is known in legal terminology and is estimated from dawn to sunset, but the time for reciting surah kahf begins on Friday night, that is, on Thursday evening.
Moreover, reciting Surat Al-Kahf on Friday brings many virtues, so let's know first 10 verses of surah kahf benefits:
first ten ayats of surah kahf is a light for those who read it, and there are many hadiths that indicate that; Including: What was reported on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri.
May Allah be pleased with him - that the Prophet - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - said:
It is desirable to read first 10 verses of surah kahf on friday, as the great companion Abdullah bin Omar used to recite it; Because of its great reward, however, most of the hadiths that were mentioned in explaining the virtue of reading it are weak attributions.
But they are taken into account in the virtues of deeds, and they support each other, and therefore reading surah al kahf on Friday is a Sunnah.
surah kahf is a light that illuminates the path of guidance for those who read it, as it stops the Muslim from disobedience and sins, and guides him to the path of good and right.
And it may be a real and tangible light, as it was reported from Abdullah bin Omar - may Allah be pleased with him - that the Prophet - peace be upon him - said:
surah kahf first 10 verses protect from the Dajjal by memorizing the first ten verses of it, as Many hadiths confirm this. Including: What was reported by the authority of Abu al-Darda’.
May Allah be pleased with him - that the Prophet - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - said:
And what Imam Muslim included in his Sahih with a long hadith concerning the Dajjal:
why do we read surah kahf on friday?
Surah al kahf is read every Friday, and there is no difference between reading it at night or during the day, and whoever reads it has light between the two Fridays.
As was reported from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri on the authority of the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - that he said:
there are many virtues and wisdom for reading surah kahf, and the following is a detailed explanation of it:
1- Tranquility and light will descend on the Day of Resurrection:
My companion was reciting surah kahf and in his house was an animal; So it began to shake and move, so he made a supplication to his Lord to deliver him from the beast, and then a cloud had covered him.
So he narrated this to the Messenger of Allah, and the Messenger explained to him that the Holy Qur’an is one of the causes of calmness, meaning that the cloud is peace and mercy, and by that he means the angels, so the beast was disturbed to see them.
This is evidence of the virtue of reciting the Qur’an and that it is a reason for the descent of mercy and tranquility and the presence of angels. Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih:
2- The infallibility from the Dajjal:
as his trial is great, and there is no prophet who did not warn his people against him.
It has been said that infallibility is achieved by reading the surah kahf first 10 verses without specifying, and it was said that it is with the first three verses, and it was said that it is achieved by the last ten verses, and it was said with the first ten.
Nevertheless, it is better to memorize the entire surah and read, and if it is difficult, ten verses from the beginning and ten from the end, otherwise it is only the first ten. The Messenger, peace, and blessings be upon him, said:
is listening to surah kahf same as reading it?
The reward for reciting surah kahf on Friday, but is limited only to the one who recites the Surah and is not limited to listening to it only, as it was mentioned regarding the one who recited the Surah on that day.
The Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:
It is also well known that whoever listens to the surah is not considered a reciter of it. Based on this: whoever wants the reward mentioned in the hadiths, should read surah kahf, and he is not satisfied with listening.
But the one who does not read the Qur’an well, then listens to it from someone else, in order to seek the reward mentioned in it,
There is the hope that he will be rewarded as much as the reader, because of his good intentions, and for doing what he is able to.
To Summarize
surah al kahf is the eighteenth surah whose location comes after Surah Al-Isra and before Surat Maryam, and surah kahf is in the middle of its location in the Holy Qur’an.
As it is located between the fifteenth and sixteenth parts, and it is one of the Meccan surahs that was revealed in Mecca, the vineyard.
As many hadiths were also mentioned about the virtue of memorizing the first 10 verses of surah kahf on friday, which we mentioned in detail within the paragraphs of our article.

what is fiqh in islam? Fiqh in islam is absolute understanding, and it is also known as understanding the purpose of the speaker’s words, and it also comes in the sense of understanding the exact thing.
As for fiqhs, idiomatically, it is defined as the work of practical legal rulings that are derived from detailed evidence. As for its source and document, it is Islamic legislation.
As it is derived from the basis of legislation, that is, the book and the Sunnah, while the science of the principles of fiqhs is the knowledge of the rules through which the legal rulings are derived from their detailed evidence, and from here the principles of fiqhs are rules that the Mufti follows to extract rulings from their evidence.
The sources of Islamic fiqh in islam are known as the evidence on which this fiqh is based, and they are also called the sources of Islamic legislation or the sources of Sharia.
No matter how different the names are, the origin of fiqh in islam is one, which is the revelation, which is defined as the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Where the sources of fiqh islam are divided into original and dependent sources, so the original is the book and the Sunnah.
how many fiqh in islam?
Fiqh in islam is divided into two parts, namely the fiqhs of worship, and the fiqhs of transactions, and we will discuss each section in detail:
1- The fiqhs of worship in Islam deal with the rulings of religious worship as revealed to the master of creation and the seal of the prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - with its detailed evidence from the Book and the Sunnah.
In what follows, an explanation of the fiqhs of worship in Islam will focus on the most important acts of worship and obligations that are required of a Muslim:
A- The fiqhs of Sallah: sallah is one of the most prominent and important acts of worship that a Muslim obeys to his innocence - the Almighty - and it is the first thing that the servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection.
The matter is to recognize not only the provisions of the five obligatory prayers, but it also requires recognition of the provisions of the eclipse and eclipse prayers, the two Eid prayers, the Friday prayer, the prayer for rain, the supererogatory prayers, and others.
B- The fiqhs of fasting: Perhaps the most important aspect dealt with by this fiqhs is the aspect that pertains to the great month in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed, which is the month of Ramadan.
It also deals with the spoilers of fasting, its invalidations, its abominations, and the rulings of making it up, in addition to the days on which fasting is desirable outside of Ramadan, with the legal evidence that was mentioned in the Book and the Sunnah.
C- The zakat fiqhs: It includes what the legal rulings on zakat deal with in terms of its conditions, its time, the recipient of zakat, the items to which zakat is distributed, and so on.
D- Purity fiqhs: This aspect of fiqhs deals with the rulings and evidence that came in the chapter on purity and the removal of impurities. This includes washing and ablution and their nullifiers and their Sunnahs enacted by the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - and tayammum and others.
E- The fiqhs of Hajj: Hajj is legally the worship of Allah Almighty with specific actions at specific times, in a specific place by a specific person according to what came in the Sunnah of the Messenger, may Allah prayers and peace be upon him.
And that is by visiting the ancient house of Allah, the Kaaba, and dealing with this aspect of the fiqhs of worship.
With regard to the rituals of Hajj and Umrah, their Sunnahs, conditions, pillars, times of their performance, and so on, with detailed legal evidence.
2-The fiqhs of transactions is a general section of the science of fiqh in islam, Moreover, transactional fiqhs are the practical legal rulings that regulate the actions of the taxpayer and the relationship of the person with others.
It includes the relationship of a Muslim with those who agree with him or disagree with him in religion, civil and personal provisions, financial transactions, contracts, and so on. Its meaning is to be able to know the provisions of financial transactions and to understand their purposes.
Transactions in fiqhs include basic topics in which sub-topics are included, the most important of which are:
A- Section of statutes and wills, including inheritance, its conditions, causes, and impediments, imposition and agnate, reckoning, copying and dividing estates, and others.
B- Department of sales and other transactions, and includes the provisions of sale, types of sales that are valid and invalid, and usury.
And other exchanges, such as partnership, Musaqah, sharecropping, Murabaha, speculation, loan, mortgage, etc., and donations such as gifts, and personal statuses Such as bail, transfer, and trusts such as deposits.
C- The section on marriage and related provisions, and includes provisions related to the family and personal status, such as provisions on marriage, dowry, divorce, divorce, expenses, breastfeeding, custody, and so on.
D- The section on felonies, which includes criminal provisions such as murder, qisas, blood money, death penalty, division, and so on.
E- the section of Judgments and Testimonies, which includes: judgments of the judiciary, conditions of the judge, method of judgment, etc., and provisions related to testimony and witness.
F- the section of Claims and evidence section related to the provisions of the pleadings.
G- The section of hudud, which includes the rulings of hudud, such as the hadd punishment for adultery, slander, theft, alcohol, miraculousness, apostasy, transgression, and punishment.
H- the section on oaths and vows includes the provisions of oaths, vows, and expiations.
What are the basic principles of fiqh?
The definition of the fundamentals of fiqh in islam is based on the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and it is the path that leads to the release of the appropriate judgment after deriving it from detailed practical evidence. Scholars differed in defining the foundations of fiqhs.
Other scholars believe that the principles of fiqh in Islam mean: Evidence is established by rulings, and rulings are established by evidence.
And others among scholars believe that the science of the principles of fiqh in Islam is limited to ijtihad and weighting.
Or it is the total evidence through which the mujtahid derives the legal rulings and studies them well in order to launch them on emerging issues by analogy, companionship, custom, etc.
And the benefit of this high knowledge is the ability of the mujtahid to devise, in addition to recognizing the methodology used by the jurists in the past, such as Shafi’i, Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki, and others.
The importance and usefulness of the science of the principles of fiqh Islam
There are many important benefits to the science of the principles of fiqh in Islam, including the following:
Control of the origins of inference, and the statement of the correct ones, with the statement of the correct way to infer from the evidence.
Simplifying the process of ijtihad, and giving emerging events the appropriate legal ruling.
A statement of the fatwa controls, and the conditions of the mufti.
Knowing the causes of disagreement among scholars, and seeking excuses for them.
Standing on the ease and tolerance of Sharia, and adjusting the rules of dialogue by referring to the correct evidence.
Preserving fiqhs from the openness that may result in introducing new sources to it, or from stagnation in closing the door of ijtihad.
A beacon of legal rulings, and subsidiary fatwas that guide the righteousness of people in this world and the Hereafter.
The way in which he reaches a balance between the opinions of scholars when a dispute occurs, and the researcher uses it to identify the evidence, the method of deduction, and the path of ijtihad.
Statement of what is meant by the texts of the rulings contained in the Book and the Sunnah.
Fundamentals of jurisprudence is one of the sciences needed by the mujtahid in reaching legal rulings.
What are the four branches of fiqh?
The 4 fiqh in islam schools is based on deriving legal rulings from the evidence contained in the Qur’an and Sunnah according to specific fiqhs rules and principles.
They can be called 4 fiqh in islam schools due to their agreement in belief, principles, and Sharia, but they may differ slightly in the elicited rulings if they are within one school of thought.
And the fiqhs doctrines that spread widely among Muslims, and which became official in most of their books, and the most famous of 4 fiqh in islam are the doctrines of the four imams of the Sunnis and the community, and they are according to their historical arrangement as follows:
Imam Abu Hanifa al-Numan and his Hanafi school of thought.
Imam Malik bin Anas and his Maliki school of thought.
Imam Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi'i and his Shafi'i school of thought.
Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal and his Hanbali school of thought.
What is the difference between sharia and fiqh?
There is an important difference between Sharia and fiqh islam. And is that Sharia is the religion revealed from Allah Almighty, and fiqh islam is the understanding of those who strive for that Sharia.
The difference between fiqh in islam in its idiomatic sense of later generations, and Sharia in its general idiomatic sense can be summarized in the following points:
1- Between Sharia and fiqhs, in general, and in particular, from one facet; Where Sharia includes practical and doctrinal rulings and morals, while fiqhs is concerned with practical rulings only.
fiqhs include the fiqh of scholars; Whether they were right or wrong, and only what the mujtahids were correct in is considered from the Sharia.
Sharia is generally applied to all that Allah - Glory be to Him - has ordained in terms of beliefs, morals and deeds, and it is applied in particular to all that Allah has legislated from practical rulings only without the moral and belief ones, which are contained in the Book and the Sunnah.
Fiqh is limited to practical rulings only, issued by the servant with the aim of drawing closer to his Lord, and whose rulings are issued as a deduction from the evidence of the Book and the Sunnah.
And based on the foregoing, the Sharia is represented by the rulings revealed by Allah, while fiqh is represented by the rulings that jurists have extracted from the texts of the Sharia or by diligent evidence.
Such as Measurement, sent interests, and the sayings of the Companions, just as the Sharia is general, the fiqh is specific, and the Sharia is all correct.
2- Sharia is more complete than fiqh, and it is what is meant by the Almighty’s saying:
Therefore, Sharia deals with the general rules and principles, while fiqh is the deduction of the mujtahids from the Book and the Sunnah is based on these rules and those principles.
3- The provisions of the Sharia are right and there is no error in them, and the rulings of fiqh that the jurists deduced may be included in the error resulting from their understanding, but one should beware of the dangerous lawsuit.
Which some contemporary writers have enlarged - which aims to delegitimize jurisprudential jurisprudence as a prelude to de-sanctifying the Sharia itself , Where the proponents of this claim consider Sharia to be the opinions of men rather than divine rulings.
This is a clear mistake. The Sharia is divine rulings, and fiqh is taken from that divine Sharia, and the scholars’ deduction is correct in most cases and expressive of these legislative rulings, but the error issued – sometimes – is only from their personal understanding of some texts and evidence.
4- Sharia is general in contrast to fiqh. The Almighty said:
And this generality is tangible from the reality of the Sharia and its purposes and texts that address all human beings.
5- The Islamic Sharia is binding on all humanity. Every person, if he fulfills the conditions of the assignment, is obligated to everything that came with his belief, worship, morals and behavior.
In contrast to the fiqh that is derived from the legal evidence through the diligence of the mujtahids; The opinion of any mujtahid does not obligate another mujtahid.
And fiqh in islam may treat the problems of society in one time or place with a treatment that may not be suitable for the problems of another time or place, in contrast to the complete Sharia for every time and place.
To summarize
the science of fiqh is related to the actions of the taxpayers, and the relationship of the taxpayer with his Lord, with himself.
And with other members of society, and includes words, deeds, contracts, and actions; That is, practical rulings, which branch out into acts of worship and transactions.
Acts of worship are like: prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and so on, and transactions like: contracts, disposals, penalties, guarantees, and other things that are intended to regulate relationships between individuals.

What is the first dua in Quran? Quran dua is the best that a person can supplicate to Allah Almighty with the intention of responding and accepting, and although there are no specific texts for the dua that a person calls upon.
But the best dua that he can supplicate with is what is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet.
And in our article today, we will learn about the first duas of Quran that were revealed in the Holy Qur’an, and review some of the dua that were mentioned in the Qur’an.
ِِAre duas in the Quran?
The linguistic origin of (dua) is to ask for action. Moreover, the word dua is mentioned in the Qur’an in about ninety places. It came as (name) in forty-eight places, including the Almighty’s saying:
And It came as (verb) in forty-four places, including the Almighty’s saying:
The word quran dua in arabic has several meanings, among which we mention the following:
1- dua means (worship), and from it is the Almighty’s saying:
That is: Do we worship besides Allah that which does not possess any benefit or harm for us? Among him is His saying, Glory be to Him:
Meaning: Worship Me and worship Me sincerely, I accept your worship, and I forgive you.
In the Noble Qur’an, the Highest said:
and it also included His saying, Glory be to Him:
So this last verse indicates that (dua) comes with the meaning of (worship). And dua in the sense of (worship) is a lot in the Qur’an.
2- Quran dua in the sense of (the name), and from it the Almighty’s saying:
That is: do not call upon the Messenger as one of you calls one another; Ibn Katheer narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said:
3- Dua means (seeking help and seeking help), and from it is the Almighty’s saying:
And from it His saying, Glory be to Him:
that is: When you need, you plead to Allah alone, and you seek help from Him who has no help except Him; Among them is the Almighty’s saying:
that is: from idols, he seeks help from them and seeks their help and provides for them, and they neither benefit him nor harm him.
4- dua means (asking and interrogating), including the Almighty’s saying:
meaning: So ask your Lord to show us this cow: What is its description? What color? What is its nature?
5- dua in the sense of (urging to do something), and from it His saying:
meaning: that I am in prison is dearer to me than what that woman asks of me of vice and indecency and urges me to do it; Among them is the Almighty’s saying also:
meaning: He urges His servants to do acts of worship in order to enter Paradise; Likewise, His saying, Glory be to Him:
that is: I do not urge you to do what will save you from the punishment of Allah, while you urge me to do what will cause me to enter Hell.
6- dua means (the call), and from it is the Almighty’s saying:
What is the first dua in Quran?
The first Quran dua in Arabic mentioned in the Holy Qur’an is what was mentioned in the opening of the book, Surat Al-Fatihah, with which the Holy Qur’an begins, and this dua was mentioned in the words of Allah Almighty in Surat Al-Fatihah:
The meaning of this verse is O Allah, guide us, and show us the right path. Guidance is what is associated with what is right, and its opposite is misguidance, and the word path does not come without its synonym.
This is the “straight path”, which is the straight path that has no crookedness in it, and it is the path that the believer takes to reach the pleasure of Allah Almighty and to reach heaven.
How do I start my dua?
There is the etiquette for quran dua, which a Muslim must observe before starting to supplicate:
1- Wudu and facing the qiblah: It is desirable for the servant before he begins dua and conversing with Allah Almighty, to perform ablution and face the qiblah.
2- Beginning with praising and praising Allah: One of the etiquettes of duas of quran so that a Muslim’s dua is closer to being answered and obtains the greatest reward and benefit from it is that.
The dua begins with praising dua the Highest and praising Him, and for that he chooses for that the best of what he improves from the words that befit dua.
The Majestic of His Majesty - and he chooses the noblest of attributes. And honor her, as he addresses the King of Kings, and concludes his dua with praise and praise.
3- Praying for the Prophet: Praying for the Prophet is one of the etiquettes that the supplicant should observe when he initiates the dua.
Because praying for the Prophet makes the dua more likely to be accepted, and the servant obtains the reward of praying for the Prophet, as the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - said:
4- Raising the hands during dua: The raising of the hands during dua is a slogan of humility and submission to Allah Almighty, and the more the need of the supplicant increases.
He raises his hands more, so the raising of the hands in the rain is more due to the severity of the Muslims’ need for rain, and the evidence that raising the hands from the etiquette of dua is the saying of Anas bin Malik may Allah be pleased with him:
5- Repentance and acknowledgment of guilt: Repentance and acknowledgment of guilt during dua are among the etiquette of duas of quran and among the reasons for its acceptance - Allah willing.
And this is the character of the prophets, and what the Messenger of Allah taught to his companions and his nation after him.
6- Persistence in dua: Persistence in language means the desire for something, its necessity, and perseverance in it, and perseverance in dua means multiplying and repeating it.
And repeating Allah attributes and supplicating Him by His name, resorting to Him, and acknowledging His divinity and lordship.
7- Not rushing to answer: Not rushing to answer is one of the important things for the supplicant, as he continues his dua without despair or despair.
So he is certain that continuing to supplicate is good for him, and that delaying the answer to his supplication is also good for him, so he reaps the reward for that, but if he hastens and gets bored And leaves the supplication.
Because this could be a reason for not accepting his supplication and its answer. In the authentic hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah - may Allah be pleased with him - on the authority of the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him:
8- Avoiding affectation in formulating dua: What should be avoided during duas of quran is an affectation in formulating it, choosing ornate words that have one rhyme and deliberately doing that.
Saj’ - which is rhymed words without taking into account weight - is one of the things that are hated in supplication that the Messenger of Allah - may Allah prayers and peace be upon him - did not do.
Peace be upon him - nor his companions, and it has been proven on the authority of Ibn Abbas - may Allah be pleased with them - that he said:
9- Lowering the voice in dua: Lowering the voice in duas of quran between loudly and quietly is one of the etiquettes of supplication that is indicated by the verses of the Holy Qur’an, including the Almighty, ’s saying:
10- Devotion to Allah Almighty, and the question of Allah alone.
11- Dua in adversity and prosperity.
12- Do not pray for oneself, one's money, one's child, or one's family.
13- Return grievances to its people.
14- The supplicant should begin with himself if he wants to supplicate for others.
15- To plead to Allah with His beautiful names and lofty attributes, or with a good deed that he has done.
16- Not to call for sin or sever ties of kinship.

Alhamdulillah our great creator, the only God worthy to be worshiped, is glorious, and his kingdom extends between earth and heaven.
All the blessings that Allah bestowed over his creatures, the believers and disbelievers, the obedient or disobedient, are worth being grateful for, and praise Allah for his bounty.
Saying alhamdulillah is not restricted to time or incident, it’s Allah’s remembrance and glorification, sensing, recognition, and feelings of all the blessings that we have, and the greatest blessing that we ever have that we were born Muslims.
now, we will deeply sail into the meanings of alhamdulillah and its virtues.
what does alhamdulillah mean?
al hamdulilah is an Arabic phrase which means praise is to Allah,.alhamdillah combines thanking Allah, and praise is to him.
Islamic scholars’ definitions of alhamdulillah
And now we will mention some interpretations of alhamdullah in the interpretations of the Islamic scholars:
1-Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Saadi said, one of the interpretation scholars in Islam, wrote the Tafseer book which is well known as “bin al saadi tafseer book”.
”And if you ask about His praise, He is Praiseworthy in His Essence, names, attributes, and actions. He has the best of names and the most perfect and best of attributes. He is deserving of all thanking, love, and praise due to the perfection of His attributes, the beauty known to Him, His gifts, and His justice, and because He is characterized by the attributes of praise which are the attributes of beauty and majesty because He bestowed upon His creation the abundant blessings that people cannot count. It is impossible for them to investigate.
2-Ibn Taymiyyah, one of the prominent hadith scholars in the second hail of the seventh century after Hijrah:
said: “So he called praise to be to God a supplication, and it is pure praise; Because alhamdulillah includes love and praise, and love is the highest type of request, so the one who praises is a seeker for the beloved, he is more deserving of being called a supplicant than the one who is asking, so thanking Allah and praise are included for the greatest request, it is a true supplication.
what is alhamdulillah?
So as we previously mentioned, alhamdulillah thanking, gratefulness, praise, and finally supplication which is a comprehensive meaning of all meanings.
How to use alhamdulillah?
Alhamdullah is not only words to be repeated by the tongue, and not only gratefulness, but it’s also great worship, and now we will mention the forms of using alhamdullah:
Al Fatiha
Allah said in surat al Fatiha:
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. (1)[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds (2)
So, alhamdulillah is a total verse in surat Alfatiha, which is the greatest surat in Quran, it’s one of the pillars in each Rakaa of our prayings, so alhamdulillah is mandatory every day and in all the prayers.
Allah’s remembrance
Allah’s said in surat al Bakrah verse no 152
So remember me; I will remember you, and be grateful to me, and don’t deny me.
al hamdulilah is one of the greatest remembrances of Allah, and Allah gives deeds for every letter of it.
Gratitude expression
Allah said in Ibrahim surah verse no 7
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "
Allah bestowed over us many blessings, including our money, possessions, family, offspring, friends, health, and recovery from illness, and actually, if we try to count Allah's blessings over his creatures we will never do.
Contemplation of Allah’s creation
Allah said in surat Al Anaam verse1
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.
Allah is the greatest, the creator, we can't even create a wing of a fly, who could create the night and day, the sun, moon, planets, and stars?!
So, when we think about Allah's creations, we will be amazed, and we will remember our weakness to the whole universe, and although we are weak he made us his vicegerent on the earth, so alhamdillah, thanking, gratefulness, and devotion to Allah Almighty.
Imitation of our beloved Prophet PBUH
On the authority of Anas - may God be pleased with him - he said: the Prophet PBUH said: “God is pleased with a servant who eats food and praises Him for it, and drinks a drink and praises Him for it.” narrated by Muslim.
Our beloved prophet PBUH taught us to say after finishing his food or drink:
Praise be to God who fed me this and provided me with it without any strength or power on my part
And also after wearing our clothes, and any other doings in our worship or our life affairs.
Supplication(Doaa)
When we perform duaa our beloved prophet taught us to perform it in the following form;
Starting with praise to ِAllah and exalting him, then we will perform Dua in the form we want, and then we will end it with alhamdulillah Rab al alameen.
Allah described the supplication of the paradise winners in surat Younis verse no 10
Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"
Here, their world life work ended, but the only thing they will say alhamduillah, praise be to allah who free their neck from fire.
how to respond to alhamdulillah?
As we previously mentioned ِmuslim will say alhamduillah throughout the day, even with his inspiration and expiration, and when someone ask him (how are you?) or how is your morning, how is your day?
Muslims will say in any case he is, alhamduillah,
what do you reply when someone says alhamdulillah?
We thank Allah in prosperity and adversity, he is our creator and we are his submissive servants, we thank him for his blessings and even affliction, as even saying alhamduillah is a blessing that we should thank allah about it.
When we ask the person about his life, day or night, and he replayed alhamduillah, we will also reply alhamduillah, and ask Allah to bless himز
related Question
how many surah start with alhamdulillah?
The chapters of the Quran that started with alhamduillah five and are:
Al Fatiha
Allah said:
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful(1)All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds (2)
Al Anaam surah
Allah said in the opening of surat al anaam:
(1) [All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.
Al Kahf surah
Allah said in the first verse of surat al Kahf:
(1) [All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant [Muḥammad(PBUH) the Book and has not made therein any deviance.
Surat sabaa
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, to who belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted.
Surat fater
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
why say alhamdulillah after sneezing?
There are many claims about the main reason for saying alhamdulillah after sneezing but actually, those claims are not true, and the true reason for saying alhamdulillah is that when the prophet PBUH heard one of the companions saying alhamdulillah he didn’t stop him but said that his action was good.
Summary
Saying alhamdulillah is a remembrance that we say all the time, even if we didn’t recognize it, Muslims will say it with happiness, sadness, and all their conditions.
Alhamdulillah is not only remembrance, but it’s part of surat al Fatiha which is one of the pillars of prayer.
al hamdulilah means thanking, gratefulness, and praising Allah, al hamdulilah is a remembrance, and supplication and one of the greatest phrases in Islam.

Rulings of Noun Sakinah and tanween in quran are the provisions that determine the way to pronounce the letter Noun Sakinah or tanween
when reading the Holy Qur’an. It has four provisions according to the letter following it.
What is Tanween example?
There are four provisions for tanween, and here is some Tanween symbol:
1- Izhar examples from the Qur'an
There are many examples in the Holy Qur’an on the ruling on Izhar, and Izhar may come in one or two words, and its letters are six, namely: hamza, haa, ain, ha, ghin, and kha, Moreover Izhar comes after the sakinah nun or tanween, and among the examples of the ruling on Izhar are the following :
"أنهار- "فِيها أَنْهارٌ مِنْ ماءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ
"أنعمت- "صِراطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ
"من عمل- "مَنْ عَمِلَ صالِحاً مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
2-Idgham examples from the Quran
There are many examples in the Holy Qur’an of the rule of idgham, and its letters are six and the group in the word “يرملون”, whether it is with or without a ghonna, and whether it is after the sakinah nun or tanween, and among these examples are the following:
هدىً للمُتقين- ذلِكَ الْكِتابُ لا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدىً لِلْمُتَّقِين
من ربهم- أُولئِكَ عَلى هُدىً مِنْ رَبِّهِم
من وال- وَما لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ والٍ
3- Iqlab examples from the Quran
The rule of Iqlab is in the letter Baa only, such as the words: “من بعد ”, “سميعٌ بصير”, and Iqlab comes in a word or two in the event that the Baa is preceded by a consonant letter “Nun”, and its example is in the word: “أنبئهم”.
Which is contained in the Almighty’s saying: (قالَ يا آدَمُ أَنْبِئْهُمْ بِأَسْمائِهِمْ ), and its example is in two words: “أن بورك” As for the Tanween, it is only in two words, such as His saying - the Almighty -:
When iqlab the nun sakinah or tanween into a meme without Idgham, as in the word: “جُددٌ بيض”.
4- Ikhfa'a examples from the Quran
The ikhfaa has fifteen letters, which are the rest of the letters except for the letters izhar, idgham and Iqlab, and examples of it are the following words:
“ينصركم”, “أن صدوكم”, “وأنذرهم”, “من ذا الذي”, “بسلامٍ ذلك”, and the ikhfaa may come in the word; And his example: “والأُثثى”, “وانصرنا”, and it may come in two words; For example: “ولمن صبر”, “نفساً زكية”, “فإن فاءوا”, and examples of ikhfaa are also the following:
The word: “الأنصار”, which is mentioned in His saying - the Almighty -: (وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصارِ), where the letter “Sad” came after the consonant “Nun”.
What is nun sakinah and Tanween?
The noun sakinaa is defined as any original nun in the word, that is, it is fixed and does not drop in pronunciation or writing, and in stopping or linking.
And is free of movement, meaning that it is not open, compressed, or broken, and there is no difference whether it appears in nouns, verbs, or letters, nor does it make a difference whether it occurs in the middle or the end of a word.
It is not possible to come in the first word; Because the Arabic language does not begin with a consonant, and as for tanween, it is an extra noun in the word, and it appears in the pronunciation without writing and varies according to its movement.
The difference between the nun sakinah and the tanween in quran is as follows:
The nun sakinaa may be an original or an extra letter, while the tanween words are an extra letter in all cases. If it is omitted, the meaning remains complete.
The noun sakinah is pronounced and written, while the tanween words are pronounced only and dropped in writing because it is already superfluous.
The noun sakna is found in all types of speech, while the tanween words are appended to nouns only without verbs or letters. In this regard, two verses should be noted that appeared in two different places to which this rule does not apply.
And the second is in the Almighty’s saying: “لَنَسْفَعاً بِالنّاصِيَةِ” and the truth is that this indication is actually a noun, but the Qur’anic drawing is different, so the word originated ليكونن،, and the second is to لنسفعنّ.
The noun sakinah may be in the middle or at the end of the word, while the Tanween symbol only appears as an extreme.
How do you do Tanween?
Tanween in quran is one of the movements of the Arabic language, and it is an extra noun at the end of the word. tanween is written as a superimposed tanween - that is, two consecutive vowels - whether (Tanween al-Damm, al-Fath, or al-Kasra).
How many rules are there in Tanween and noon?
Noon Sakinah: It is a static nun that proves both verbally and linearly, and connective and pausing, and it is in nouns, verbs, and letters.
As for tanween words: it is an extra static noun that appends the last of the nouns verbally, and separates from it with a line for non-emphasis.
Moreover, The provisions of Noon Sakinah and Tanween symbol are divided into four sections, and are detailed as follows:
1- Al-Izhar, which is the expression of the consonant “Nun” or “Tanween” when pronouncing one of the throat letters, and the throat letters are: hamza, ha’a, ain, ha’a, ghin, and kha’a.
And it is at the Noun in one word, as the Almighty said in Surat Al-Fatihah:أَنْعَمْتَ
And the Izhar of the nun is in two words, as the Almighty says:مِن هادٍ
It is not Izhar when Tanween only in two words, as the Almighty says: عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
2- Idgham linguistically: inserting something into something, and idiomatically: it is the insertion of a consonant letter into a vowel so that they become one stressed letter.
And the idgham letters are six, namely: the ya’, the ra’, the meem, the lam, the waw, and the noon, and they are collected in the word (يرملون), The idgham is divided into two parts, which are as follows:
The idgham with a ghanna The letters with a ghanna sing four, which are: ya’, noon, meem, and waw, and they are collected in the word (ينمو).
And its condition is that the noun sakinah or tanween is at the end of the first word, and the suffix letter is with a ghanna at the beginning of the second word, as Allah Almighty says In Surah Al-Zalzalah:وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ
But if the consonant “Nun” meets with the idgham letter in the same word, then it is necessary to show, and it is at the letters “waw” and “yaa”, and it is called absolute idgham, and it came in the Holy Qur’an in only four words, and these words are:
صنوان، وقنوان، والدنيا، بنيان
Idgham without ghunnah for idghaam without ghunnah are two letters, namely: lām and rā’, and the aspect of diphthong in it is the omission of the ghunnah to exaggerate the mitigation; Because there is a weight in the persistence of the song when it is uttered, as in the words of the Most High:
3- iqlab is defined in the language: as turning something away from its face. As for idiomatically: it is turning the static nun or tanween into a hidden meem with a ghunnah if the letter ba comes after it.
And the inversion has one letter, which is: the Baa’, and a crutch meme sign (m) is placed on the “Nun” to denote the inversion in the drawing of the Holy Qur’an, as the Almighty says:
4- Ikhfaa linguistically: concealment, and idiomatically: it is the utterance of the letter in a manner between Izhar and idgham, without stressing, noticing the occurrence of ghunnah.
If the static nun or tanween comes after it and one of the ikhfa letters comes after it.
And the ikhfa letters are fifteen, namely: sad, dhaal, thaa, Al-Kaf, Al-Jim, Al-Shin, Al-Qaf, Al-Sin, Al-Dal, Al-Ta, Al-Za’i, Al-Fa’a, Al-Ta’a, Al-Dha’a, Al-Za’a, Allah Almighty said in Surah Al-Imran:
Ikhfaa has three levels, which are as follows:
The highest rank: is the one with the ta’, the dal, and the ta’, and the ikhfaa in this rank is closer to diphthongs.
The lowest rank: is with al-Qaf and al-Kaf, and al-Ihfa’ is closer to Izhar.
Intermediate rank: It is the one that is with the rest of the hidden letters, and is in the middle between the upper rank and the lower rank.
The difference between ikhfaa and idgham
ikhfaa does not have stress when pronouncing it at all, and likewise, the ikhfaa of the letter is with others and not with others.
As for the idgham of the letter, it is in other than it and not in the other, it is said: The nun was hidden at the s, not at the s, and it is said: The nun was slammed into the lam, not at the lam.
In conclusion
it is necessary to know the science of tajweed, as it is classified within the sciences of the method, as it is considered a means to reach the achievement of a lofty goal, which is reading and memorizing the Noble Qur’an in a correct manner and sound pronunciation.
Moreover, the science of tajweed is also divided into several sections, and among these sections are the rulings of the sakinah nun and tanween.

qirat meaning
the Arabic word qirat means recitations, it’s the noun of the verb “Iqraa” which is the first command in Islam as Allah said in Surat Al Alaq:
Recite in the name of your Lord who created(1) he created the human from clinging substance(2) recite, and your Lord is the most generous(3) who taught by the pen(4)he taught the human what he doesn’t know(4)
The scholars of the Quran and hadiths defined qiraat in different ways, but before we get into the definitions, we should talk about the seven letters of the Quran, and whether it’s the same as the 7 qirat of quran.
Seven letters
Quran was revealed to the prophet, peace be upon him, in different dialects and accents considering the differences between Muslims, those accents and dialects are called the seven letters, but the seven letters and qirat are not the same, however, it’s an indication that Quran was revealed in different aspects.
The revelation of the Quran in seven letters was mentioned in authentic hadiths as follows:
on the authority of Ubayy bin Kaab – may God be pleased with him, he said: “The Messenger of God, peace, and blessings be upon him, met Gabriel, and he said: O Gabriel, I have been sent to an illiterate nation, among them are the old man, the boy, the maidservant, and the man who has never read a book. He said: O Muhammad, the Quran was revealed in seven letters.”
Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, said that the prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Gabriel recited to me a letter, so I reviewed it, and I kept asking for more and recited more until it reached seven letters”
Qiraat definitions

It’s the performance of the words of the Quran and their differences attributed to the transmitter.
Abd al Fattah al Qadi qiraat definition
Abd al Fattah al-Qadi one of the most prominent scholars of Al Azhar Al sharif, defined the science of qirat as the science of how the qur’anic words are pronounced and performed considering the agreement and differences attributed to the transmitters.
how many qirat of quran?
the Islamic scholars set 4 mandatory conditions for the reliable qirat of Quran, al-Imam Ibn Al jazari mentioned them in his millennium poem” the good publishing in the ten qiraat”.
reliable qirat conditions
Compatible with the Arabic language in one of its aspects such as grammar, and pronunciation.
Compatible with one of the ottoman’s books.
The Isnad, which means the chain of narrators who transmitted the qirat from the prophet peace be upon him, and this chain must end with the prophet PBUH.
Al tawator, which means that the qirat was narrated by a large group of narrators who are known for their honesty.
According to the previous conditions, the scholars of the Quran determined 10 qirat of quran, 7 qirat of quran compatible with all four conditions, and the last three qirat met only the first three conditions.
Now, we will mention the best qirat of Quran in the world according to the previous conditions.
qirat of quran
Nafi’e qirat

Zamzam water is blessed water, and it is the best water on the face of the earth, as it came in an authentic hadith on the authority of the Prophet - may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him-: (It is blessed; In drinking zamzam water.
And It is mustahabb for every Muslim to agree with what was narrated from the Prophet - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - in drinking water zamzam:
Facing the qiblah whenever possible, and holding a glass of zam zam water with the right hand.
Sitting while drinking water, as the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did; He forbade drinking while standing.
Drink zamzam water in three batches, with the label each time.
It is desirable to evoke the intention and supplication before drinking zamzam water.
It is desirable to look at the Kaaba after every drink and to praise Allah who fed us and gave us a drink after every sip of zam zam water.
zamzam water benefits
Zamzam water is not like any other water; It is blessed water sent down by Allah - the Almighty - and blessed with it on Muslims, as zamzam water in quran mentioned in many surahs
Moreover, drinking water zamzam
has many benefits that accrue to the drinker, so below we will mention some of the benefits of drinking zam zam water:
Zamzam water was made for what was drunk for it, because the Messenger of Allah - may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him - said: (zamzam water is for what was drunk for it).
That is, if this water is drunk for any need, whether it is a worldly need or an afterlife, it is achieved by the permission of Allah Almighty.
And this was proven by many scholars when they drank it for a specific need and it was fulfilled.
All Almighty made water zamzam food and drink for the Lady Hagar and her son Ismail - peace be upon him - when her husband Ibrahim - peace be upon him - left her alone in Mecca.
Because of the great blessings it contains, and that is why the Arabs in the pre-Islamic era called it “saturation”, they raced over it to water their families from it.
And it was also narrated from the companion Abu Dhar Al-Ghafari that he stayed in Makkah Al-Mukarramah for a whole month, and he did not have anything to eat or drink except Zamzam.
Allah Almighty counted this water from the most precious water and the best of it, even from the Kawthar River, according to the words of Siraj al-Din al-Balqini - may Allah have mercy on him.
That is why the angels washed the heart of the Prophet - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - when he was young with water zamzam; To purify his heart by it, and so that the Prophet - may Allah pray.
And peace be upon him- could see the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and this was mentioned in an authentic hadith on the authority of the Prophet.
Zam zam water has been described with many descriptions in addition to describing it as saturated, and all these descriptions show its characteristics and virtues.
It has been described as “irrigated”; That is, it quenches and suppresses thirst, and its benefits are many, and it has been described as “health and cure for sickness”;
That is, drinking zam zam water, Allah Almighty, made in it a cure from ailments and aches, and the drinker of it restores his health and wellness, Allah willing.
As mentioned in the previous hadith, it was also called “Maymoonah”; i.e. the blessed, which is “freedom”; Because its mustache becomes one of the people of righteousness and benevolence.
It is also "madonna"; Any precious and expensive, and because of the severity of that, Allah Almighty forbade a tribe of Arabs called Jurhum to drink from it;
Because they were disobeying Allah - the Highest - in the sanctuary of the honorable Kaaba, as it is sufficient for everyone who drinks it.
And its sweetness is unparalleled, and it is also called "the defeat of Gabriel"; This is because Gabriel - peace be upon him - struck the earth to bring out this pure water from its source
where does zamzam water come from?
Zamzam water is located on the eastern side of the Kaaba, about twenty-one meters away from it, and the depth of the well is more than thirty meters, and water flows from among the granite rocks there.
And the zam zam water pumps a large amount of water; This is equivalent to about eleven to eighteen liters of water, per second.
The power of Allah - the Highest - is manifested in that the level of water in the well of Zamzam does not change, but rather remains at one level no matter how much it is drawn from it.
Despite the frequent use of it by pilgrims during the blessed month of Ramadan and the days of Hajj about five thousand years ago.
The Prophet - may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him - said in Zamzam: A certain eye), and the well of Zamzam has received great care from kings and rulers throughout the ages, and they took care of it and its architecture.
the story of zamzam water
The story of the well of "water zamzam" began when Allah commanded His Prophet, Ibrahim, peace be upon him, to leave his wife Hagar and her son Ismail in an uncultivated valley, i.e. Makkah Al-Muharram.
And after Ismail had run out of food and drink, and his mother, Hajar, was running between Safa and Marwa, looking for water for him, then Gabriel, peace be upon him, blew out a spring of water from under the little boy.
At that time, tribes flocked from all sides towards Mecca, and their importance increased after the construction of our master Ibrahim and his son Ismail, peace be upon them both, for the Sacred House.
And over the years and during a period of time, the zamzam water was destroyed, and that was before the era of Abd al-Muttalib, the grandfather of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
By digging it up again, the pilgrims were watered from it, and so the watering and sip remained in the family of Abd al-Muttalib, and he inherited it after him, his son al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib.
Some references indicate that the blessed zamzam water is about 20 meters away from the Kaaba in the east direction and is fed from three main sides, one from the northwest.
The second from the east, and the third from the south (Kushk 1983AD). The blessed well of Zamzam is still irrigating pilgrims since the Prophet of Allah Abraham.
Authorized the people to perform Hajj, as it pumps water at different rates according to the methods of water extraction.
Dua for drinking zamzam water
It has not been proven that he, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, made a specific dua when drinking zam zam water.
And accordingly, it is desirable for a Muslim when drinking water zamzam to dua to Allah for whatever he wants for the good of this world and the hereafter.
He intends his need in his heart with a sincere intention and supplicates to Allah as He wills.
And It has been proven on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that if he drank water zamzam, he would say:
“Oh Allah, I ask for your beneficial knowledge, abundant sustenance, and a cure for every disease.”
And there are many beneficial supplications that a Muslim can recite when drinking zamzam water, including:
(Oh Allah, our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the hereafter, and save us from the torment of the Fire).
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, forgive me, and provide for me).
(Oh Allah, I ask You, O Allah, that You are the One, the One, the Eternal, the One, the Eternal, the One who begets and is not begotten, and there is no one equal to Him, that you forgive me my sins, for You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disability, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, senility, and the torment of the grave.
O Allah, give my soul its piety and purify it, You are the best of those who purify it, You are its guardian and custodian.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the knowledge that is not of use, and from a heart that is not humbled, and from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is never satisfied.
In conclusion, zamzam water in quran is not explicitly mentioned, but there are many hadiths that state the importance of zamzam water, and zam zam water has multiple benefits that we mentioned in detail in our article.
And Imam Al-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said about water zamzam: “Whoever drinks it for a need he attains, and the scholars and righteous people have tried it for otherworldly and worldly needs, so they attained it by the praise and grace of Allah Almighty.”
