I haven't played double exposure yet and I still have to see the ending once it's out but I don't think I'll be playing it

but everything I've seen about the pricefield break up (which I'm not even completely against and can understand the narrative reasoning behind it) just feels extremely out of character for Chloe, someone who has the abandonment issues that Chloe has wouldn't have broken up with max through a letter, Chloe wouldn't have talked that way about Max's powers (that she hasn't apparently used since the main game ended) and just wouldn't have made sense

I feel like the break up would have made more sense as a temporary thing to heal and be apart from each other to face what happened rather than just randomly breaking up bc deck nine wants max to have new love interests??
