he’s on his way there already but just. loving the idea of jean becoming unrecognizable to the ravens who thought they knew him—him getting stronger and healthier in california so his build changes, so far removed from the nest that he has no injuries or bruising for the first time in their collective memory. him standing tall next to jeremy on the court, no longer slouched over to conceal an injury or to make himself less of a target. jean getting a haircut he likes that flatters his features and makes him feel good. him getting so much sun that he gets freckles in a way he hasn’t since he was a child, smiling and laughing with his friends on the sidelines of a game. if it weren’t for the tattoo they’d think he was an entirely different person, and he kind of is, free in a way he’s never been before, and it suits him so beautifully

I want Jerejean to just slowly phase into being together. With Andreil, we got a few glass-shattering moments - doesn’t mean i wouldn’t blow you/you like me; this isn’t yes it’s a mental breakdown; there isn’t an US; choose this, us…etc.

I want Jerejean to just so slowly slide into something more without them needing those big moments. They both are aware they’re attracted to each other. Jean knows Jeremy is into him; Jeremy knows Jean is at least attracted physically. They’ve never said it. But they know. Wouldn’t it be so lovely to just slip into it like your favorite hoodie? I know they’ll both need at least some reassurance - this is what i want, you deserve love, this won’t affect our team etc etc - but they both deserve something groundbreakingly simple and easy.

i’m in the middle of commissions but kevin day said “draw me being serving face but also very injured” so i listened. this is my sketch break

the potential of jerejean having a little secret relationship phase where they keep it to themselves and they're like furiously kissing each other in the apartment when the girls are away and the door opens and they have to break apart so fast and fix themselves but jeremy is always left super flustered after. jean is moving to greet the girls and jeremy is just standing there, hand on his stomach and over his mouth trying to compose himself and he's sooo caught up staring at jean he doesn't hear what anyone says to him for a hot minute and this happens so many times!!!

them kissing in the locker rooms and jean having jeremy pressed up against his locker but they hear the chatter of their team coming and jean is across the room to the backliners side so FAST while jeremy is slumped against his locker. everyone seems him and is like "cap you okay?" and jeremy is just biting his lip and nodding his head like "mmhm yeah" his cheeks sooo flushed and red and his clothes all ruffled aaaahhh !!

but also give me cracks in jean's composure like him going up against jeremy in practice and planning to check him, having every intention to drop him to the floor but jeremy stumbles and jean catches him instinctively around the waist and everyone freezes like???? bc jean never goes easy on anyone. to make matters worse he can't help himself when he lets go of jeremy, his big ass hand smoothes over his waist and stomach and jeremy like forgets where he is for a whole second. and jean has to shake his hand out to forget the feel of how solid jeremy's stomach is. or like on the team benches they'll sit sooo close. like thigh to thigh and they'll start sharing everything !!! or jean's arm will rest on the back of jeremy's seat in the library or if they go out to eat at a restaurant. everyone will look at it and then look away because jean and jeremy have always lingered in each other's space but they've never been pressed up this close. practically walking into each other, hands swaying so close. or OR they'll be playing footsie under the table and jeremy will accidentally get someone else's leg and they'll be like "jere?!?!?" and jean will have to look away to hide his smile as jeremy stutters through and apology before jean's right back there hooking his ankle around jeremy's

I also propose Say it right playing after and Jean is so out of his mind he lets Jeremy pull him in for a slow dance-

It’s the floozies karaoke night and Cody dare their captain to do some embarrassing pop hit, so now Jeremy’s singing loud and completely out of tune, but Jean can’t get his eyes off him, am I right???

Jean would look at him, and be like, "god this is horrific; why do I want to rail you into the nearest flat surface" (it gets so much worse when Jeremy notices and winks at him and shimmies over to him and sings some lyrics into his flushed bright-red ears)

Oops!...I Did It Again by Britney Spears (Jeremy sings this very very very badly, but he's also so very sexy when he dances to it so Jean cannot, for the love of everything holy, take his eyes off him) (Cody notices it and they WILL play this song at every floozie party just so they can see Jean lose his everloving mind over Jeremy dancing to Britney Spears)

Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson (IT'S A HIT) (also Jeremy sings this with his whole heart, u know????? It's his song)

A Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield (Wikipedia tells me this came out in 2008 and it's a little like in the Easy Girl movie> the rest of the floozies dislike it soooo much, especially Laila and Ananya, but none of them can stop singing it lmao) (it becomes An Inside Joke™ for them) (Jeremy unironically loves it)
