I feel like this art really manages to encapsulate the androgynous features of apollo, a great blend between masculine and feminine - something the original art had failed to do.
No other official art has ever managed to do his hair justice. A great win for the toa fandom today.

We as a fandom don’t acknowledge how incredibly *violating* being turned mortal must’ve been for apollo.
You’re kept in isolation for a period of 6 months, in and out of consciousness. Your only company is the towering man who frequents often. Your essence, the most private part of you, a part nobody has ever *seen* or *touched* in the literal way is suddenly being messed with- changed in a way you can’t comprehend because your mind is so fuzzy. You feel weaker than you’ve ever felt, your strength is slowly depleting. You’re powerless. You’ve never felt like this in a millennia. When you’re mortal, your memory fails you. You don’t know the exact details of what happened for you to become…this. You can’t accept your body, it’s no longer yours- gone are your lithe limbs, the golden hair, blue eyes. This isn’t your body, it doesn’t belong to you.

Obsessed with this bust description
'It looks like a woman so it's probably Artemis, unfortunately her femboy brother also looks like a woman so idk 😐'
#Historians not being able to tell whether or not it’s Apollo or Artemis is so funny to me#because nowadays we make them look completely separate from each other#But the Greeks and Romans depicted them in such similar ways despite the fact that they were fraternal#I think the only way we would be able to tell them apart is the context of where the statue is#but we don’t have said context#greek gods#greek mythology#greek mythology memes#apollo#artemis#apollo and artemis#sun n moon twins#My deities ❤️#greek myths

I like to think that Apollo's socialization skills were something he learned gradually over the centuries
So when he was younger he was simply 🕴 in the corner
But because he was good looking they all let it pass until he learned 🤷♂️

what if male circe
he's gay as fuck and instead of being son of helios he's son of selene
Also his design is a direct counterpart of circe, like having really long hair and his color palette being heavily inspired by the gay flag lmao

Let’s start with my first one! Hermes, inspired by Neal Illustrator’s design!

So, I know that 90% of my audience speaks English, so here I am arguing with the wall.
BUT AS THE WALL CAN'T ANSWER I WIN THE ARGUMENT!!!
So, I was listening to a history video essay the other day, and at that I got the question of how Apollo would do a history video essay. And I AM 100% SURE IT WOULD BE LIKE PUTOMIKEL
I HAVE NO PROOF BUT NO DOUBTS
So here are some drawings to prove my point 😘
I just don't think Apollo is the type of person who would just talk about something HE HAS TO GIVE THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE
