Drugstore Dupe List for Jessie James Decker's 2011 Makeup Tutorial - Sex Kitten

Hey ya'll! Since I got great positive feedback from the last "Dupe List" I created, I figured I would recreate Jessie's look from her 2011 tutorial video. She was still rocking her signature "sex kitten" look in 2011 and since it's timeless... It's still perfect for 2014! High End: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer $43 Drugstore: Sonia Kashuk Tinted Moisturizer $14 (Target) *This is the closest dupe I have personally found for the Laura Mercier! I am a huge lover of that tinted moisturizer... But can't always swing $43. I am in love with Sonia Kashuk's tinted moisturizer. I use my hands to apply and I use it to prime my face. As long as you set your makeup properly... I'm a firm believer in not needing a primer! High End: Makeupforever Full Cover Concealer $32 Drugstore: NYX COSMETICS - Full Coverage Concealer Jar $5 (Ulta) *After doing some more research, I've noticed this concealer is about as close as you can get to the Makeupforever Jessie loves so much. It applies so smoothly with a concealer brush and covers without feeling cakey! High End: Makeupforever Face & Body Foundation $40 Drugstore: L'Oreal True Match Foundation $10 (any drugstore) High End: Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil $23 Drugstore: Maybelline Define-A-Brow $7 (any drugstore) *Always has and always will be my favorite drugstore eyebrow pencil! High End: California Tan Powder Bronzer $25 Drugstore: NYX Matte Bronzer $9 (Ulta) *Ya'll know how I feel about this bronzer! High End: YSL Lip Liner #13 $30 Drugstore: NYX Lip Liner Natural $5 (Ulta) *Nyx lip liners are fantastic. Due to the fact that the Strawberry Shortcake is so pink... You'll need the warmth of the Natural lip liner so you don't "lose your lips". High End: Nars Roman Holiday Lipstick $26 Drugstore: Revlon Lip Butter - Strawberry Shortcake $9 (any drugstore) *This Lip Butter is an exact dupe for the Nars Roman Holiday. Don't be alarmed by the name. This is a lipstick. I love the lip butters. They're very moisturizing and are very pigmented. Creme Brûlée is also a fantastic nude color if the Strawberry Shortcake is too pink for you. High End: YSL Eyeliner Black $30 Drugstore: NYX Retractable Eye Pencil $5 (Ulta) *This pencil is really a great choice for an eye pencil. It's smudge-proof and long-wearing. The price doesn't hurt either. High End: MAC Opulash Mascara $14 Drugstore: L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara $8 (any drugstore) *The holy grail of drugstore mascaras! High End: Benefit Shady Lady Palette $34 Drugstore: NYX The Smokey Eyeshadow Palette $8 (Ulta) *This smokey and sexy eyeshadow palate has extremely similar shadows as the Benefit! The deeper navy color is great in your crease and above the wing of the liner. High End: Kat Von D Liquid Liner $16 Drugstore: NYX Studio Liquid Liner $5 (Ulta) *a beautiful matte black eyeliner that doesn't budge. Easier to control. High End: Laura Mercier Purple Eyeliner $24 Drugstore: NYX Retractable Eyeliner $5 (Ulta) *Long wearing... Smudge proof and the purples match identically. High End: Anastasia Clear Brow Gel $22 Drugstore: NYX Control Freak Brow Gel in clear. $6 (Ulta) *This brow gel is perfect! Holds your unruly brows in place and locks in color all day long. High End: Light Colored Baby Pink Blush (?) Drugstore: NYX Powder Blush In Peach $5 (Ulta) *Although Jess didn't name the blush, I took a screenshot and took the time to match them that way. This NYX blush is a very close match. Baby Pink and perfect for that "snowstorm" look. Estimate Price Of High End - $400 Estimate Price Of Dupes - $100 Total Savings - $300 For the SAME look as Jess!!!

"Drugstore Dupes" for Jessie Decker's Latest Tutorial! - @RachelElliott12

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer - $6 at Walmart stores only - Y'all... This stuff is PHENOM. You can even cover tattoos with it. It is pretty much an exact dupe for the Makeup Forever Full Cover. I'm in love. It even covers tattoos! You will want to set this with a translucent loose powder, such as - NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder - $10 at Ulta... That way it won't settle into any fine lines for the less fortunate. NYX is my holy grail makeup line. It's very reasonable and fabulous! NYX Mineral Stick Foundation $10 at Ulta - This little miracle foundation stick is wonderful news for girls who like that natural, dewy look. It is very lightweight, (thanks to the minerals) and buildable. Besides... Who doesn't want a perfect foundation in a stick form that can go anywhere? You can also use it in a shade lighter on areas you want to highlight and blend. I recommend using an angled head foundation brush to blend this product in. Use clockwise motions. I'll post links to everything at the end. I really love Real Techniques and Eco Tools brushes. NYX Radiant Finishing Powder - Radiant $9 at Ulta. Now... Even though this isn't a foundation like the 60 Watts... This is exactly the same thing it does. Over the foundation you've already put on.. Place this in the same areas as Jessie and lightly buff in with a brush. The Radiant shade is gorgeous and will give you that flawless radiant look. NYX Love in Rio Eyeshadow Palette in Bikini Bottom - $6 at Ulta for a 3 shadow palette! I'm obsessed with the Love In Rio Palette's. I love how pigmented they are and how they stay on all day. The first color... And the second color... Are dead ringers for the BareMinerals! The last color, you can sub for the Darkhorse from Urban Decay she used under her eyes to smoke it up. It's really not necessary to use the Naked Palette for this look. If you already have it, that's great! But if you can't afford the splurge right now... You certainly don't have to. Maybelline Define - A - Brow is my favorite pencil ever! You don't have to sharpen it and there is a little comb on the end to blend it to save money on buying an extra tool! - $6 at Ulta Cover Girl Natural Lash Mascara is PERFECT for a light hold to lock in that pencil after achieving your desired brow! - $6 at Ulta NYX Matte Bronzer is my go to bronzer. There isn't any shimmer. It's perfect for contouring and they also have MANY shades to choose from. Perfect dupe for Bobbi Brown's (or anyone for that matter) bronzer! It also won best bronzer in Allure Magazine in 2011! - $9 at Ulta NYX Retractable Lip Liner in either Natural or Nude. Whatever you feel fits your skin tone best. You don't want to go much darker than your lip color. Over line the top and bottom just a little bit. - $4.50 at Ulta NYX Black Label Lipstick in Dusty rose is an exact dupe for Benefit Ladies Choice lipstick. It's exact. You won't be sorry! - $7.50 at Ulta Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick Airy Fairy is an exact replica of the Naked lipstick that Jessie showed us in the video. It's really beautiful. Kind of hard to find though. But sold at drugstores! - $5 NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Baby Rose is an AMAZING brightening lip gloss! Very comparable to the Bobbi Brown! - $5 at Ulta NYX Two Timer - Dual Ended Eyeliner - Yup... Ya heard that right. A dual ended liner where one end is a pencil... And the other is a liquid. Kills two birds with one stone for this dupe list! Obsessed. - $10 at Ulta L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara - Black - $7 at Drugstores or Ulta. No. Dupe. Needed. Holy grail of Mascaras. NYX Powder Blush in Pinched - $5 at Ulta. Love this blush. Pretty baby pink with a little shimmer. Very similar to the Surratt and complements a bronzed look very well. Recommended Brushes for this look: Eco Tools - Essential Eye Set - $7.99 at Ulta or Target Eco Tools - Flawless Face Set - $14.99 at Ulta or Target Those are ALL of the brushes you will need for under $25!
