As much as I loved V’s clothes in this season, I do find it hard to imagine her putting on that pink dress we saw in s1!

She was much more feminine with her dress sense, but seemed to have become more masculine in her style choice….. i Wonder if that was on purpose? And would V wear the same clothes from her S1/S2 style.

I wonder what message they were trying to send with changing this style. I don’t see S4 V wearing the feminine dresses/clothes she wore in s1. Maybe her glamorous fashion sense was just a facade all along. Maybe she just liked the clothes to stop her feeling bored but then she realised that wasn’t what’s important. Eve was what made her happy.

Who was was the real Villanelle, because I can’t believe how different she looks. She’s definitely been on a journey and come so far. Even with her hair always down she has this soft look.

This shows the confusion of the writers and what was shown on screen.

I truly think Jodie becomes Villanelle and Sandra becomes Eve and in those moments, the emotions they feel are real. They did their absolute best to convey the truth to their characters. Which is why it’s so sad the ending made that all seem in vain.

How can anyone say she was happiest in killing, not with Eve.

Why Laura calls her a psycho path is disrespectful.

She was not a psychopath at all, she had so many emotions inside of her. She felt remorse, regret, love, loss and definitely felt something was missing in her life.

Even in this series, would a psycho try to save that lady in the church because she felt regret and wanted to stop herself. I mean yes she has her moments but she’s trying!

The whole series was about showing that she was more than just a killing machine. She’d done so much work to get to where she’d got to.

What she could have given if she’d had the chance, she could have proved to all of them she can be happy with Eve, THAT would be a triumph for her, the fact Laura says it was glorious hurts !!!

Psycho paths cannot feel anything - and very clearly she had feelings.

She said at the therapy, is this what being insecure feels like? She said She feels things when she’s with Eve!….

How do you explain her jealousy when she heard about Helene? The look of betrayal when she’s arrested? Her utter sadness when she’s not with Eve? How happy she was when she was given a moment of what she wanted all her life, to be accepted and loved? Only to be robbed from it at the end.

She had already done more than enough to prove she was an incredible person and capable of love. She didn’t need to die to show that.

Her living- would give her the opportunity to show eve how much she loved her for years to come.

I don’t understand, just thank goodness Jodie did all she could to stay true to her character.

Why they tried to redeem a character who didn't need redeeming and then makes it appear that this "redemption" was more about returning her partner to "normalcy"

She didn’t need to die to show that she was worthy of Eves love. Throughout the whole series she’d shown in many ways she was more human than many!…

If given the the chance she’d have shown everyone how she could have a relationship with Eve and be truly happy.

It’s like the writers say- she’s destined to be a killer and that’s it. She’s not capable of anything more.

Which I feel like it goes againt the whole point of what v was trying to do. She was so upset that people didn’t believe in her and just saw her as nothing more than a killer. But she was so much more than that.

How LN can say she could never be happy with Eve forever is beyond me. She was in love and showed how selfless she could be in just her natural ways of doing things.

She showed eve how much she cared about her in the small things . Even the mention of Bill, she showed regret, she was always worried that she was ruining eves life.

It’s touching when u think how far they’ve come . Eve feels so safe in Villanelle's company by the end, compared to how completely terrified she was at the start? When she ran upstairs in the bathroom snd they had a fight in the bath

To lie in bed, with your BACK facing someone, is an incredibly vulnerable position to be in. The fact she did this with someone she had previously stabbed, been shot by and then had locked up proves how much she came to trust Villanelle unconditionally.

Villanelle did that! She earned Eve's trust. She knew that no matter what Eve did to her, she'd never hurt her. She'd never break her heart.

And Eve came to understand that. She had complete trust and felt safe with her.

Now if that’s not proving she has changed and a triumph for her I don’t know what is

This is so killing me!! 😂 Why Laura calls her a psycho path is disrespectful!!! She had more heart and love to give than any of them put together. look how powerful her scenes were as short as they were.

What could she have given if given more screen time. If she’d had the chance , she could have proved to all of them she can be happy with Eve, THAT would be a triumph for her, the fact Laura says it was glorious hurts !!! Far from it it was morbid and horrific.

how happy she was when she was given a moment of what she wanted all her life, to be accepted and loved? Only to be robbed from it at the end.

And so upset when they say v was enjoying the killing and came to realise that she was different? But that’s not true at all. She was more than just a killing machine as she has proved over the whole series. Wasn’t that the point of the show? She said I don’t want to do it anymore. Anyone looking at that kissing scene would see where her true happiness lies. End of.

Something that I found so precious was how much Eve and Villanelle quickly learned about the others personal habits. 

One thing that I always was kind of bummed about was that Eve and Villanelle never really knew much about the other in regards to the mundane surface level details. Do they know each other at their very core? Absolutely. But when it comes to what their favorite movie is or if they prefer chocolate over vanilla, they really don’t know a whole lot. It reminds me of season two when Villanelle forces Niko to give her his recipe to his shepards pie because she believes that Eve likes it due to that being the only information she had on Eve’s eating habits. 

That’s why I found it so endearing how open they were in this episode with sharing their little quirks and preferences. It’s like once they both finally allowed the other one in they were so willing to just be themselves. That’s one of the reasons why I adore the scene of them sharing curly fries because it was such a cute moment of them learning about how the other likes to eat their fries. It’s a small detail but something that I feel is probably very meaningful to both of them because they’ve never had the opportunity to know each other in this way. There was also this cute banter that was going on between them where it kind of felt like they both were saying: “This is who I am. Take it or leave it, Baby.”
