I want to apologise to

- Britney for making fun of her when she had her breakdown

- Monica Lewinski for judging her when she was a 22year old temp sexually assaulted by the most powerful man in the world

- Ke$ha for ever thinking she was trashy when all she wanted to do was make party music

- Kristen Stewart for ever thinking she was dumb when she’s actually one of the coolest people ever

- Megan Fox for ever thinking she was just a slut when actually she was an actress being harassed by her employer. 

- Hating all the women who made a career out of having a hot body. Being is shape is hard, beauty is a weapon and auto promotion is hard work. 

- All the Mary-Sues, who exist because young girls everywhere want to be part of a story they love so much

- All the female characters I ever snobbed because they got in the way of my ship.

- Hating the color pink during my teenage years, when it’s actually a lovely color and what I resented was society’s pressure to perform femininity.

My boyfriend had a couple drinks tonight and I facetimed him because a lot of things happened in a short time frame at my house and while I was telling my story he told me I was being boring.

So since I switched to a vocal major I have to take voice lessons and my instructor puts on a little recital for us to perform in. 

This was me performing After You by Cole Porter

This is where I was at after one semester of lessons and choir and just getting over strep throat. I can’t wait to see how much I’l improve over the next few semesters!

So I haven’t been on in forever because college takes up a lot of time but I thought I’d update.

I’m starting to look less gross so yay. People actually get crushes on me now which is weird and I’m not sure how to handle that. 

My clarinet instructor last year was a bitch so I’m a vocal music ed major now and I love it. I’m actually kind of okay at singing and I love being in choir. 

I made some amazing friendships this year and even though my depression hasn’t gone away, I still think I’m thriving and I can’t wait to be back at school.
