Out of these present time struggles, if you could pick 1 to solve at this moment, which would you want?
Gender ideology. Ending hormones and surgeries for it, getting single sex spaces again + women getting more. No men competing against women and no women thinking they must be a man to like something.
Social media toxicity. The end of forums like 4chan and toxic Discord rooms, incels and etc. No teenagers getting into dangerous ideologies, no women and girls being pressured to social media beauty standards again + no more short attention spans.
AI. Ending AI slop, generative AI who steals jobs and creativity, possible threat to humans, no women having their pictures taken and made fake pornography of.
Affordable homes. People being able to afford their own place again and moving in, basic needs being affordable too + women getting equal payment everywhere.

“A study on masculinity and aggression from the University of South Florida found that innocuous – yet feminine – tasks could produce profound anxiety in men. As part of the study, a group of men were asked to perform a stereotypically feminine act – braiding hair in this case - while a control group braided rope. Following the act, the men were given the option to either solve a puzzle or punch a heavy bag. Not surprisingly, the men who performed the task that threatened their masculinity were far more likely to punch the bag; again, violence serving as a way to reestablish their masculine identity. A follow-up had both groups punch the bag after braiding either hair or rope; the men who braided the hair punched the bag much harder. A third experiment, all the participants braided hair, but were split into two groups: those who got to punch the bag afterwards and those who didn’t. The men who were prevented from punching the bag started to show acute signs of anxiety and distress from not being able to reconfirm their masculinity.”

Hi, I’m a lesbian college student who is new to gender critical thinking and find myself agreeing with a lot of the posts I see. But I still can’t help but feel bad, like I’m wrong and being a “bigot.” Is this common? What would you recommend I do to navigate this feeling?
I think it's common when you're deconditioning yourself.
But you can only get better when you practice. You have to practice not caring and getting confident. You'll be ok!!!

rape is crime against humanity, and every rapist should be killed. I don't mind if it's your boyfriend or friend or co-worker or father or brother, if they are rapists, they deserve death.

Whenever a feminist will criticize any set of harmful practices against women the knee jerk response is always “well these things will always exist anyway so learn to live with it”.
How many times have we heard “sex work will always exist”, “pornography will always exist”, “predatory males will always exist” followed by “so it’s best to just let people do what they ‘want’ to do”.
Meanwhile all of the revolutionary energy is towards things that negatively affect males. Seizing the means of production and massively redistributing wealth, making healthcare free and accessible to everybody, abolishing the prison system, and making immigration effortless while also keeping out dangerous criminals is all completely possible and worth protest, riots, and boycotts. But pornography, prostitution, and males breaking women’s boundaries are just inevitable?
The hierarchies of capitalism and imperialism can be dismantled, but gender is somehow eternal and untouchable.

Women are so unserious 😭
Okay first men are so horrible that you create an app to get “tea” on horrible men that you date. What are you thinking dating this demographic in the first place? Secondly, the same demographic ruins this app so you can no longer use it. And you’re still concerned about dating them???
Noooooo thoughts, head empty. Women fight so hard to love men it’s unreal.

I think it is very rare for a human being to be totally unsalvageable but I think it is very clear to me that many men lack, and will lack until the day they die, the basic understanding of women as human beings just like them with individual desires and fears and personalities, which would be required for men to ever be suitable for interactions with women. Many literally cannot get it in their heads that women have personhood in the exact same sense they do.

No, disenfranchised men don't get a pass. No, disabled men don't get a pass. No, men of colour don't get a pass. No, mentally ill men don't get a pass. No, men with substance abuse issues don't get a pass. No, gay men don't get a pass. No, dysphoric men don't get a pass. Being oppressed on one axis doesn't give you a pass to violate women's boundaries and it most certainly doesn't give you a right to our bodies.

ive been pondering something for a bit, as a same sex attracted woman who is still questioning whether i am bisexual or a lesbian. while it does hurt my feelings when lesbians say unkind things about bi women, i do think it's important to note that lesbians don't have structural power to oppress bi women. it's not nice to be mean, and sometimes misogyny comes into the picture in a real way (calling bi women sluts, and other pornographic insults i will not repeat), it really is more a matter of, "this woman is being really mean to me, on a personal level, and it hurts." not an example of structural power. the only people with that power, the power to oppress bisexual women for their bisexuality, are heterosexual women, and all men. i don't love it when people are mean, but there's a difference between my feelings getting hurt and it making me sad, sometimes deeply sad, and experiencing structural violence.
it's also okay to just walk away from people who are cruel to you, as well. you don't have to allow anyone to disrespect you, for any reason. cruelty doesn't have to be oppressive for it to be something you're allowed to be hurt by, or for you to set boundaries on how you're willing to be treated. someone can have utterly spotless politics and still be, interpersonally, a terrible person to be around. it's not like politics are a personality substitute.

can you imagine how freaky shark mermaids would be like unlike sharks, shark mermaids would have actual arms/hands and could rely on touching things with their hands to see if they’re prey rather than having to bite like sharks do. like youre just swimming in the ocean and suddenly you feel a strong grip on your leg, you freak the FUCK out because uh what????? the fuck??? youre swimming alone in the ocean??
a head pops out of the water, dorsal fin pointed from its back and it just points at you and says in a low whisper: “i thought you were a seal. please dont swim alone like this, im sorry i scared you i just wanted to see what you are” and then disappears back into the depth. what the fuck.
