This absolutely doubles as an AP lang pre-study.
Logical Fallacies in Trans Activism
No true Scotsman - “Trans women aren’t violent! Those trans women who committed violent crimes aren’t real trans women!”
Ad hominem - [completely ignores other person’s argument] “Go fix your eyebrows, you’re so ugly! You’re a bigoted idiotic bitch!”
Ad nauseam - “Trans women are women. Trans women are women. Trans women are women. Trans women are women.”
Circular argument - “A woman is anyone that identifies as a woman.”
Ad misericordiam - “Don’t you care about those innocent trans kids that are being murdered in the street? Don’t you care about the trans women that are being violently raped every day? Trans people are being killed, there is a trans genocide happening!”
Strawman: “I’ve never actually looked at a radical feminist blog, but I’m going to make posts about how they’re all violent misogynistic and racist bigots who believe that women belong in the kitchen!”
Moral equivalence - “If you misgender a trans person, even by accident, you are as evil as Nazis and you are responsible for the deaths of trans people!”
Ad baculum - “If you don’t completely and blindly support trans people, then you’re a TERF and we beat up TERFs.”

‘S—t’s getting really wild’: House Resolution 7 wants to revolutionize women’s healthcare to address ‘the needs of men’
(link)
Arizona Representative Andy Biggs has introduced a bill in Congress that seeks to set a new national standard for women’s healthcare that would prioritize “the needs of men, families, and communities” rather than women.
The bill was quietly introduced to the House on January 3 and has received little national attention. However, given that it outlines an idea to fundamentally change women’s healthcare nationwide, it’s quite a significant proposal. At first glance, it appears to be genuinely concerned with women’s healthcare, advocating for establishing Pro Women’s Healthcare Centers (PWHC) specifically for women and expanding women’s access to quality healthcare. A deeper look at the proposal, along with the PWHC booklet, though, reveals very troubling language and details. Rather than prioritizing the health, well-being, and livelihood of women, the bill envisions implementing these health centers nationwide to ensure that women have access to healthcare that is strictly pro-life, emphasizes “spirituality,” and prioritizes the needs of men.

sorry i do think it's pretty funny that men for thousands of years were like "women just aren't very smart... :( their poor brains can't handle real education" and now women are doing better than men in all levels of schooling to the point where it's some kind of crisis that boys don't learn good... sucks to suck

Genuinely as long as they acknowledge the fact that their man isn’t special and that he’s still a part of the problem, I don’t care who says what.
Do u think u can be a radfem and have a bf or husband? I've noticed a lot of radfems seem to think those two things are contradictory and was curious on ur thoughts?
I mean the idea that feminists can't be married or have kids is ahistorical and disconnected from reality- as many important feminists were just that. so idk what ppl are talking about w regard to that. Feminism is a movement to end the sexist oppression of women, not some little social club w requirements to get in or something.

wishing a very die to pornographers, pimps, porn directors, traffickers, rapists, sexual harassers, misogynists, sex buyers/johns, porn watchers, domestic abusers, pedophiles, child pornographers, men with wives a lot younger than them, those that are subscribed to onlyfans accounts, those with pornhub t-shirts, right wingers, MRAs, incels, homophobic men who watch lesbian porn, groomers, racists who watch race-play porn, those who fantasy about raping/beating a woman, those who strangle their partner, daddy doms, nazis, those who consume loli/shota material, those with hentai t-shirts, johnny depp sympathizers... the rest of you men are on thin fucking ice.

I wonder if they direct this energy to the potterhead moms who are also English teachers? I can’t imagine one of these kids actually saying this shit irl to an actual woman living her life.
it's a moral failing to still be a harry potter fan

This actually pisses me off so much. Why are all the religious stuff in game all Christian related? A game that’s supposed to be progressive isn’t really all that progressive. I hope we get a base game update or some really nice cc creator makes more cc for religious sims.
Sims 4 bitching and moaning hdhdhs
Disclaimer just in case I say something stupid: Not Jewish, Not Muslim. Culturally Christian(?). I do not own the wedding pack as I heard it was busted, and I just have sims elope anyway since wedding themselves haven’t worked very well for the majority of the 6 or 7 years I’ve been playing ts4 lol
I’m replacing all the npcs with my own handmade households, I don’t intend to play as 98% of the ppl I’ll be making, but I want to ensure that this save file will have like… a wide range of
Trying to make a hijabi sim, got frustrated bc most clothing for the sims women are basically suctioned to their body. There was a lot ‘rule googling’ and so many of my outfits weren’t passing the sniff check no matter how hard I tried. Cc helps a little but since I run mm, the options get can be a lil limited. More long layering skirts and shirts as accessories would help. Ea clothing in the game itself makes hard too, idk what I would do if I were a console player.
All the dresses end at like the knee/mid calf and the ones that don’t tend to have cleavage windows, open arms, or again, are suctioned to the body. The game includes 3 hijabs, but the game auto blocks all but the ugly swim one from a handful of outfit categories.
Also smaller complaint but I went to a hijabi fashion blog and some of the girls were wearing non religious hats on top. The sims wouldn’t allow this, as they count the hijab itself as a hat.
(Kinda reminds me of the issue where instead of making the binder an accessory that yknow. Goes under your shirts. They count it as a tank top. They expect ur binding sims to just wear the binder as a crop top? It also does not minimize the chest AT ALL. unless ur sim is already mostly flat. They also have it set for sleeping and working out.)
Anyways though, upon realizing how little there was for Muslims I was like. Damn. Do they have content for Jewish ppl??? I knew there was a menorah but my search lead me to find (a lot of this info was from an sims 4 forum user):
There is no kippah. There is a hair covering that I think is meant to be the tichel. They added matzo ball soup and challah. Haven’t tried this, so this could have changed, but supposedly when you light the menorah you get a happy buff represented by a Christmas tree.
But like as others had pointed sims 4 does kinda just. Default to a ‘Christian neutral’. They added churches for sims to get married in to the wedding pack but there’s likely never gonna be a mosque or a synagogue in game… imagine how pretty they could make a world with arabic architecture… also two Jewish recipes is not enough, I knew that much without googling
Also sorry, thought of another thing… how am I supposed to have these sims follow dietary guidelines 😭 like best I can do is make them lactose intolerant vegetarians but that’s wasting most of their personality traits. Like I won’t be playing as them but idk??? It just seems like a cool thing they could add if they’re gonna make sims 4 their last stop forever

i think its kinda funny whenever theres a poll about lesbians having issues with bi women being homophobic its all like ohhh theyre trying to drive ssa women apart, youre biphobic if you have prejudice against bisexual women you think we're dirty and tainted blah blah blah. and then on the "For bisexual women: would you date a lesbian?" poll it was crickets in the notes because lesbians don't give a shit if someone doesn't want to date them and are normal about it lmfao

BIKINI KILL MENTIONED!!
🧷 RADFEM PUNK MINDSET AND GATEKEEPING 🧷
1.This is for WOMEN.
Born female, raised female, suffer and survive as female. No exceptions. No tourists. No LARPing.
2.We support women, but we don’t have to like them.
Solidarity over sisterhood. I’ll fight for your rights and still block your number.
3.Always point the finger back at the men.
Who made the system? Who benefits? Who’s still pulling the strings? It’s not Karen down the street. Keep your eye on the prize (or the prick).
4.Reject mainstream beauty culture.
Shave your head, grow out your pit hair whatever makes you feel real. Just don’t feed the industries that hate us.
5.Know your riot grrrls and punk godmothers.
Listen to Bikini Kill, L7, X-Ray Spex, Babes in Toyland, Bratmobile, The Slits, Big Joanie, Dream Wife, lunachick, the Distellers
6.Hate all forms of government.
The left sold us out. The right never cared. Smash it all. We were never meant to be ruled.
7.Be loud, annoying, cringe, and yourself.
Cry too hard. Laugh too loud. Post shit takes. Make ugly art. Be “too much” and not enough, all at once.Believe in your worth like a man believes in his podcast be unhinged.
7.No Moids in the Moshpit
Don’t bring your boyfriend, don’t bring your "male feminist" roommate, keep them far away from here, but you are still welcomed.
8.Surviving the System Doesn’t Make You Less Punk
Got a job? Pay bills? Use what you have to survive? That’s not selling out remember you can’t burn it all down if you’re dead.Work the system from the inside? good, Make it rot.
This isn’t that sad, performative male punk bullshit, the kind that smashes windows just to hear the sound. We’re not here to destroy for destruction’s sake. We’re here to burn it all down so something better can rise from the ash. Not for men and not for aesthetics. For women and for a world where we don’t have to beg for safety, shrink ourselves to be loved, or cosplay as tradwives just to feel seen. This is a movement of reclamation, not regression.

There's something I've noticed recently, it weirded me out at first, but actually it makes sense. I've become less GNC since I've embraced radical feminism.
I say "embraced" radical feminism as in like, I've held radfem beliefs for more than 15 years but it's only in the last three years or so that I've decided to look into the theory and focus a lot of my free time on it. It has become a big part of my life.
Now don't get me wrong I still don't shave, and I still don't wear makeup, I never have.
But all my life, as a little autistic girl, a transmasc lesbian, and now a detrans lesbian, I rejected everything I deemed feminine on principle. It felt like a trap. It felt like a cage.
My mother didn't let me dress myself until quite late. As soon as I became old enough to take things into my own hands, I cut my hair short. I still remember the next day when I came to school. I was around 13 I think. The harassment I was already a victim of became way worse because of my hair, but I never regretted it.
As the years went by I gradually stopped wearing skirts and dresses, as well as jewellery. I also cut my hair shorter and shorter. I kept a buzzcut for almost ten years. As a kid/teen, I hated the color pink. I hated flower prints and frills. I hated romance fiction and "girly" music. It felt like what society wanted me to like, and I rejected it all because I was desperate to break free of the mold. As a teen as I put on weight and reached my adult shape, binding my chest became more and more difficult and painful... But to me it was better than the alternative.
Cut to now, I'll be 28 this year. I've never felt more free to just... Be myself. I let my hair grow out a bit and honestly it just looks way better on me lol. I wear jewellery from time to time, and I don't overthink it. My style of clothing isn't super feminine, but it's not something I think about. I'm just trying to be comfortable. I don't care if my cleavage shows. Yeah I hate that men look at it, but I shouldn't have to change MY behaviour. I'm just existing in the world, growing more and more misandrist every day 🤍
I was making myself crazy trying to go against expectations at all costs, I was overthinking everything and obsessing over every aspect of myself. I'm just natural now. No I don't leave the house with a loincloth and twigs in my hair, I just do what I like because this shit is all fake anyway. There's no such thing as femininity and masculinity. None of it matters. My time on Earth is limited and I'm not gonna spend it caring about how I'm perceived because of aesthetic choices.
I know that no matter how hard I tried to fight it, I have been socialized a certain way since birth. But I can't keep making myself sick over it. If I have a daughter one day, I'll do everything in my power to do better by her. As for me, what's done is done and I can't keep hating myself forever. Yeah I'm a woman, yeah some things I like are stereotypically associated with womanhood/girlhood. What's important is that I'm aware of how the world shaped me, aware of what it all means (and doesn't mean) for me and other women.
I'm exactly like other women, because women are just human beings who happened to be born female. It's the one thing we have in common. No matter how I live, I'll die a woman. I might as well enjoy the ride as much as possible. I love myself and I love y'all.

Carpet muncher is a derogatory word for a lesbian having oral sex with a woman with pubic hair.
Hey, I’m not a troll, I swear! I’m honestly just super confused about the difference between pansexual and bisexual. I’ve never seen a clear-cut definition that separates the two. Can someone help me out? Trying to understand, not argue.

Demisexual is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard of. “Sexual attraction only when friends first” that’s fucking normal.
Not every media is romantic. Even if it is, they can suck it up or just not watch it. Societal pressure can be avoided. There’s literally nothing about them that screams oppressed. Like come on.
Somebody please explain to me why all asexuals/aromantics just despise anyone in a relationship.
I’m actually stuck on this side of tumblr and no matter what I do, I’m stuck. They’re so hateful and just bitter. They’re more bitter than men who claim they’re a “nice guy.” (Shocking I know)
It’s okay to be celibate guys. It’s okay to not want romantic affiliations with someone. Stop acting like everyone else has some disease that you can’t cure. Stop acting like you’re some oppressed being. (Spoilers: celibacy isn’t some oppression)
like stooooooooooop iiiiiiiit. Yall ain’t a homo. Stop acting like you’re on the same page as us pleaaaase!
Side note: why take a term that’s for reproduction? Asexual means you’re gonna start splitting in half to produce offspring; not celibacy and lack of feelings for others.
Side-side note: what the fuck is an allosexual?
