The   firey   words   of   the   overlord   seated   opposite   him   and   across   the   quant   dinette   do   not   necessarily   come   as   a   shock.   However,   the   far   more   scorching   tea   that   is   flung   into   his   lap   is   something   of   an   unexpected   retaliation.   Alastor   thrusts   his   hips   backward,   the   legs   of   his   chair   screeching   in   protest   against   the   floor,   hands   up   in   the   air   an   eyes   wide   as   the   drink   seeps   through   his   trousers.   The   liquid   simmers   against   his   skin,   earning   a   hiss   out   of   the   radio   demon.   What   an   absolute   display...

"Rosie⸺"   He   says   through   gritted   teeth,   a   warning   to   his   good   friend.   The   (mildly)   smug   smile   that   played   across   his   mouth   a   moment   ago   has   long   since   gone,   replaced   by   a   rare   grimace.   "My   dear...let's   not   LOSE   OUR   HEADS."   Alastor   cautions,   plucking   a   nearby   napkin   from   the   table   and   throwing   it   across   his   lap,   eyes   never   leaving   the   woman   before   him.   He's   insulted   her,   clearly,   and   hell   hath   no   fury...

"My,   my...what   a   temper."   He   clicks   his   tongue,   finally   blotting   himself   with   his   napkin   as   radio   static   still   crackles   with   displeasure   in   the   air   surrounding   them   both.   She   has   pushed   him   to   the   edge   with   her   little   display.   "And   what   would   you   do   if   I   spilled   tea   on   your   dress,   hm?" 

Such   behavior   is   beneath   him,   of   course.

He,  too,  had  missed  Zestial's  presence  while  on  leave.  It  wasn't  often  that  the  radio  demon  and  the  eldest  overlord  crossed  paths,  but  when  they  did,  there  was  fun  to  be  had  by  both.  Suffering  for  the  rest! 

Alastor's  ears  prick  to  the  side  at  the  sound  of  compliments  spilling  from  the  sinner's  lips.  Music  to  his  trained  ears!  "AH-HO!  You  flatter  me,  my  friend,  truly."  His  smile  of  appreciation  only  widens  as  the  overlord  shows  his  true  colors,  the  bright  shade  causing  eyes  to  widen. 

"⸺speaking  of  shrieks,  did  you  happen  to  tune  into  our  little  push  with  paradise?"  The  radio  demon  has  been,  admittedly,  curious  as  to  Zestial's  opinion  on  the  spectacle.  "Quite  the  success  in  the  end...thanks  to  our  cunning  Carmilla,  among  others..." The  sinner  glances  to  the  side,  looking  covertly  for  the  overlord's  reaction  to  this.

What caused you to start writing? What was your key point?

Is there anything you would have changed when you started writing now that you have more experience?

I  started  writing  because  I  was  depressed.  I  didn't  know  that  was  why  I  started  at  the  time,  but  that's  why.  I  was  so  depressed  that  I  was  isolated  from  everyone  around  me  socially.  I  felt  I  needed  the  interaction,  even  if  it  was  fictional.  When  I  was  depressed,  I  preferred  it.  It  was  all  I  had  for  several  years.  I  didn't  know  what  depression  was!  I  just  knew  I  didn't  feel  well.  I  started  rping  when  I  was  12  or  13. 

I  would  change  A  TON  because  I  was  a  child,  obviously.  I  wasn't  healthy.  My  writing  was  terrible  at  first.  But  I'm  glad  I  found  writing  because  I  probably  wouldn't  be  alive.

The first platform I ever wrote on was Twitter. I wrote there for a good while. Probably at least 6 or 7 years and then @helltel dragged me to Tumblr. I haven't really looked back since. I much prefer Tumblr to Twitter for a lot of reasons, but mostly because people actually write long responses here.

HELP ME!

Just look at Alastor's face when all the attention is not on him

Apparently  completely  unaware  of  her  discomfort  (his  sneer  says  otherwise),  Alastor's  grip  remains  steadfast  as  Vaggie  protests  the  proposition.  "Quite  true,  my  dear!"  He  agrees,  mind  drawn  to  his  radio  broadcast  schedule  for  the  upcoming  week.  The  theatrics  he  has  planned,  OH,  it  makes  one  shiver!  "The  opposite  of  subtle,  but  left  unquestioned  nonetheless."  He  speaks  through  his  teeth  at  the  mention  of  his  crimes  left  unanswered.  It  speaks  to  his  prowess!  And  (he  likes  to  think)  his  stylistic  flare! 

The  radio  demon  feels  the  angel's  muscles  tighten,  tensing  like  a  snake  too  informed  to  strike  at  the  hand  that  feeds  it. 

"Your  choice!"  Finally,  after  a  moment  of  lingering,  Alastor  releases  her  with  a  few  steps  backward,  hands  thrown  up  in  the  air.  "⸺But  if  I  can  be  of  any  assistance,  you  know  where  to  find  me,  my  dear." 

Now, Vaggie didn't particularly enjoy being touched at the best of times : so when Alastor's hand suddenly claps itself down on her shoulder, there would be no hiding the way she jumps, no chance to try and swat him away before he is turning her toward the window.

Was he... trying to tempt her? It was the only phrasing she could find that even remotely summarized the bizarre offer, and her stomach churns with discomfort.

"If you were to "do the deed," I have a feeling it would be even less subtle." She does not swat his hand away, no matter how desperately her skin crawls to do so. Determined to not give him that satisfaction.

( she has a feeling he can tell, nonetheless. )

"My vision of the future doesn't include unnecessary bloodshed." She manages to restrain herself from tacking on a remark about his being an insufferable shitlord, but barely. Not particularly inclined to start anything with him when no one is around to bare witness. "Not for anyone down here."

I think alastor DESERVES to take credit for the hotel. Who is the reason charlie had an army to fight back with? Alastor. Who casted a shield on the hotel to buy some time, and afterwards also kept Adam busy, alastor. Who introduced charlie to rosie, who then gave her advice on vaggie? Alastor, which means he also played a big part on their relationship as well. He brought nifty and husky to the hotel. He advertised it. He is doing his best. If charlie is "queen bee", he is the head of worker bees. If the hotel is in success at the moment, I don't think it could've happened without him. Maybe charlie would be dead as well. Because with or without alastor, she was going to share her idea with Adam, and she was going to want to speak with sera, and she would. What then? Adam was still going to attack the hotel in all endings. And without the crowd alastor gathered, they would be completely defenseless. So I say, take all credit you need alastor. I'm sure Charlie herself would give it all to you. (This is referance to the last anon!)

The  overlord  listens  patiently,  hooves  perched  neatly  atop  his  radio  station  desk,  hands  laced  over  his  abdomen  as  the  caller's  voice  drones  on  through  headphones.  Idly,  he  adjusts  a  dial  or  two  as  the  signal  fades  and  crackles,  doing  his  damnest  to  ensure  every  word  is  heard. 

Like  a  simple  gossip  column,  it's  common  for  his  listeners  to  have  a  spat  once  in  a  while.  Very  entertaining!

"My  dear  anonymous  caller!  What  a  passionate  and  well-informed  take.  But!"  Alastor  pauses,  index  finger  in  the  air.  "⸺I'm  pleased  to  inform  you  all  that  this  project  is  the  brainchild  of  our  one  and  only  Princess  of  the  Circles.  We  are  a  team,  listeners...a  team.  Now,  don't  touch  that  dial⸺our  classical  hour  is  up  next!"

Radioapple!

I  have  a  complex  relationship  with  radioapple.  I  play  both  Lucifer  and  Alastor,  and  they  are  my  only  muses  right  now.  They  HATE  each  other.  Like,  it's  on  sight.  Aesthetically,  it's  such  a  pleasing  ship.  Basically,  it  would  never  happen  in  canon,  but  can  they  just  hate  fuck  and  get  it  over  with?  They're  gorgeous,  powerful,  and  daddies.  Like,  let's  go.  The  fandom  has  kind  of  ruined  this  ship  for  me,  though,  because  of  how  much  content  of  it  I've  seen.  Some  of  the  softer  stuff  is  cute  but  is  way  too  AU  for  my  liking.

alastor x shutting the fuck up for five minutes PLEASE /lh

This  man  seriously  talks  nonstop.  It's  a  problem.  I  ship  him  with  shutting  the  fuck  up  for  five  minutes  so  hard.  In  the  Finale  number,  when  he  started  tweaking  and  singing  his  "I'm  gonna  be  pulling  the  strings"  bit,  I  literally  died  laughing.  It  is  the  most  unintentionally  funny  moment  of  the  show  because  everyone  is  singing  and  happy  and  having  a  groove,  and  this  man  takes  himself  so  seriously.  I  can't.  Like  girlie,  we  get  it;  it's  all  about  you,  Pookie.  Anyway,  I  love  him  all  the  same.  If  he  shut  the  fuck  up  for  five  minutes,  I  wouldn't  have  nearly  as  much  rp  material  and  the  fandom  at  large  wouldn't  have  enough  cringe  memes.

It  goes  without  saying  that  my  Alastor  is  Aroace.  Ships  with  Alastor,  due  to  this  and  many  other  factors  (including  the  fact  that  he  is  a  sociopath  and  averse  to  most  affection),  are  very  different  than  most  ships.  That  being  said,  I  obviously  see  Rosie  and  Alastor  as  being  platonic  life-partner-ish  friends.  He  is  very  charmed  by  her  and  even  drawn  to  her!  However,  as  you  all  will  see  very  soon,  I  think  they've  had  a  few  run-ins  with  physical  affection.  Personally,  I  love  the  complicated  and  twisted  relationship  they  have.  It's  funny,  it's  sexy,  it's  powerful,  it's  clever.  It's  just  incredible.  For  more  on  these  two,  STAY  TUNED!
