Hellven Updates | March

Hello! I finished my personal project! It was a 500pg book I managed to get printed and shipped to me. I'm not going to be sharing the actual content since It's pretty rough as my first try at a novel fic thing, but I'll show the hardback whenever I do get it in the mail.

But this means I've been focusing all my worktime to Hellven! I'm almost done with the 20 sets, dear gods has it taken forever to get them in order. Here's some previews of the rough non-render models.

As for Hellven itself I have - 16 chapters, 300 pages with 2/16 chapters reedited. A major change to Hellven is it's not longer an extended script, but a fully illustrated novel. So there's some heavy rewrites to incorporate the dialogue into the descriptions. For reference I expect Book One to be about 20 chapters long.

Here's a WIP of the prologue.

So things are going well on that front. I don't have an exact release date atm, I work 2 jobs and it can be tough sometimes to find the time for projects like this. But progress has been going well, my work is pretty flexible. I'm confident in my ability to finish this, I mean already finished a novel whats another one!

Aside from that in between my free-time, I'll continue to doodle BG3 stuff, self-indulgent and whatever. So if you like shitty vampire, awesome- me too!

I did want to say how happy I am about Hellven. I never really considered doing novels before, only comics. But finishing a story through comics or animations seemed like a impossible task. So when I actually finished my first novel, I realized I could do this. I could tell a complete story. It's not gonna be perfect, hell, it might not even make sense. But honestly, I don't care, I just want to be able to finish something.

So thanks for embarking on this journey with me :)

The sky outside was an angry gray as the clashing sound of roaring thunder echoed. Flashes of lightning struck all around to unseen, but nearby places as the winds nearly knocked you off your feet. The weather report had said it was a severe thunderstorm day, after all. And your umbrella, no matter how strong or durable, was no match for this weather.

Fortunately, you spotted an abandoned building nearby. It was known to be abandoned, but it was a factory that had shut down many years ago due to worker's issues of some kind. And you figured that factories were durable. It would be enough to shield you from the weather. You didn't think twice and darted inside.

Another flash of lightning and growl of thunder came. And by that point, you heard a whimper with every flash of lightning and a terrified squeak with every thundering boom. Upon closer inspection, it seems to be coming from a room with a mountain of blankets piled up. And underneath one specific purple fuzzy blanket, there's a shivering mass. It can't be seen, but it seems to be making the sounds.

Hello! I'm Mikoto or Homura, a system host who's been in the editblr for.. I suppose awhile despite never actually posting until I made Lupinbash, although I suppose that account can be considered abandoned. He/it is preferred, but she/her is fine as well.

Mysterious Promo...

One morning, as you sat on your porch unassumingly, a deer peeked out at you from the edge of the forest. Curious about what a deer was doing out so close to society and concerned that it may be hurt, you followed it until you were lost in the woods. And you only served to be more afraid when you heard rustling from beyond the trees. Convinced you were about to be mauled by an animal, you flinched, looking for a way to defend yourself before you heard voices. And three people came out of the trees, much to both your relief and horror. They were absolutely covered in blood.

"U-Um... Why do we h-have to be out here again...?"

The girl who spoke seemed very timid, but it was clear she hadn't noticed you yet. And neither had the boy with her.

"You want the love potion, don't you?"

Those words sent a chill down your spine. Love potion? What did he mean by that? Your thoughts were interrupted when the final girl spoke.

"Siblings, be silent. We have an audience."

Seems she took notice of you. She quietly approached you, a darkened demeanor on her pale white, vampirish face.

"Surely you are capable of keeping this little encounter with us a secret, yes?"

What is with these guys? Are they insane? Do you stay or run to call the police?

And you knew you were spotted because the first thing you saw was the shadows moving across the rubble under the blood-red sky. The second thing you were greeted with was a hyperdermic needle directly at your throat, and fifty-three people surrounded you. Each of them sported dull red eyes. The Remnants Of Despair. And you were vastly outnumbered.

"Aaaahahaah~! Our Beloved really has rewarded us with an amazing catch today~!" one woman said, clutching her hands to her chest in a display of eroticism in love. "Hmmm... What shall we do with you~?"

"Oh~! I assume you must be confused, huh?" a boy says, cocking his head to the side cheerfully... far too cheerfully for someone with such malicious intentions in his actions. "Yep, you got us. We're the Remnants Of Despair. And we'll kill you or brainwash you! Choice is yours~."

"Don't even think about calling Future Foundation to come save you," another girl barked, placing her hands on her hips in a stern manner. "They're already all... occupied. You'd be lucky if they even got here in time to save your organs for the next person."

"Calm down, guys." This girl seemed cold and sinister, but she had managed to delay your murder... for now. "As long as they're nothing like that hopeful sack of shit Makoto Naegi, we should get along fine. Of course, that begs the question... hope or despair?"
