"Absolutely not. Get him off right now."
In which Rafayel throws a pouty tantrum over your cat lying on his side of the bed.
A/N: This prompt came from a friend after we were all collectively losing it over dilf rafayel art (check out @/roanni on twitter to see their art and the other boys in their dilf form ^.^)

Doors? Locked. Lights and curtains? Closed. The cat? He's not quite sure where he went. He honestly can't be bothered to check or worry either. If it hadn't been for your damn pleading eyes and batting of those lashes, he wouldn't have been so easily convinced to let you have this.. Creature in his own house.
But getting married changes you, having a wife weakens your resistance towards the things you'd usually hate. In Rafayel's case, you convincing him to adopt a cat was the last thing he'd imagine himself doing. But it made you so happy, you were all smiley and full of energy for a good three weeks, doting endlessly on Salmon and spoiling the cat like it was a child.
He treads up the stairs and makes his way to you, he's just about ready to lay down next to you, to wrap his arms around you and hold you unbelievably close. He wants to run his fingers through your hair, to maybe let you do the same, and well.. If he gets lucky, you might just let him get away with more. He rolls his shoulders as he stops in front of his bedroom doors, pushing it open slowly, hoping to see you.
And well.. He does see you, and he's happy about that. But it's Salmon that he's not happy to see. Sure, over time he'd gotten used to the cat's presence, and just maybe here and there he's spent time bonding with the feline. But lying on his side of the bed is where Rafayel draws the line. "Absolutely not, get him off right now." He demands, standing next to his side of the bed and glaring at Salmon, who was far too unbothered to care about Rafayel's tantrum.
"Honey, he's relaxing, just let him be." You say, patting the space next to you. "Let him be? What about me? Your precious husband that's worked really hard and is very tired. What has that.. Furball done except for sunbathing and eating kibble?" Rafayel frowns, crossing his arms defensively over his chest and looking to the side like a kicked away puppy. “Oh, come on, don’t be like that.” You coo, finding his pout quite adorable. Even with how much time has passed, he still looks just as endearing as he did when he was young. “You obviously have favourites.. And it’s not me..”
Chuckling, you set your phone down and slip off the bed, slowly walking towards him before trying to get him to meet your gaze. “Honey,” You try, but he looks away to his left. “Sweetheart,” You try again, but he only turns his head to the right. “Love,” When there’s no other direction to turn his head, he turns himself around entirely, facing his back towards you with a huff. You only smile, you’ve been with him too long to be deterred by his antics. You sigh dramatically before nodding to yourself. “Well.. I was going to ask you to sleep on my side of the bed instead. But..” You trail off as you cross the space of your shared bedroom, returning to your side of the bed and tucking yourself in.
One, two, three.. You count in your head as you shut your eyes. The sound of footsteps, the blanket being pulled back and then the dip of the mattress as Rafayel slides in and wraps his arms around you, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck. “Don’t think this means I’ll forget how you let him sleep on my side.” He mutters but he still presses a kiss to your forehead and scratches Salmon behind the ear.
