This was one of my favorite social platforms, and among the many blogs I created, it’s the one I held closest to my heart since I started it back in 2012. It breaks my heart to see how much it has changed for the worse, and how it has lost that sense of freedom and authenticity that made it so special.
I had already stopped posting regularly, but every now and then I kept coming back, hoping that maybe something had shifted, that the magic might return. But sadly, it never did.
Tumblr gave me a voice, a space to be myself, and the chance to meet so many wonderful souls. For that, I’ll always be grateful. But like all beautiful things, this too must come to an end.
As hard as it is to say goodbye, I know it’s the only way to protect the memory of what this place once meant to me.
Goodbye, Tumblr. And goodbye to everyone who ever found something meaningful in my blog.
