I don’t know why, but as soon as Ragatha mentioned coming from a rich family, my mind immediately made a connection to the Le Domas family from Ready or Not. I’m not sure why exactly — maybe it’s just the way she described her mother. I’m pretty sure her mom is a horrible person, and something tells me Jax reminds her of her. So honestly, Ragatha’s mom probably has a sadistic and selfish personality, just like the Le Domas characters. I know this theory kinda sucks, but it’s just a dumb connection I made. Still, if her family had lore similar to the Le Domas, that would actually be really cool.

I was reviewing this theory and came up with a very bold one: since we’ve seen quite a few connections to the past of Jax and Ragatha, what if it was actually Ragatha’s family that caused the corn trauma? Gooseworx confirmed that it reminds him of the farm, which Ragatha also mentioned. Think about it—Ragatha’s family might have made devil sacrifices, like the Le Domas family, to stay rich. So they use the staff from their estate as sacrifices, carefully selecting them.

If Jax had that same personality even before coming to the circus, then Ragatha’s family might have chosen to sacrifice him. But while Ragatha is chasing him down to kill him, she sees he’s younger than her and lets him escape into the cornfield. This would have angered her mother, who then kicks her out of the family.

It’s definitely the boldest theory, I know—but somehow, it all makes so much sense.

I was looking at Gooseworx’s replies and I started wondering — have we already seen this so-called dangerous duo, meaning Jax and Evil Pomni, or is it something we’ll see in episode 6? Let me know if you think we still have to see this duo, because I’m super curious to hear your theories!

I think Ragatha wasn’t really referring to Jax in that scene, but rather to the relationship she had with her mother.

Looking at Gooseworx’s replies, I realized that relating more to Ragatha than to Jax — does that mean Ragatha will start behaving more like Jax?

I think this is a more beautiful image of the Digital Circus because it shows a moment where Ragatha and Jax have a slight smile on their faces and no heavy thoughts. They’re just close, next to each other—not arguing or glaring, but simply calm and near for the first time.

TaDc theory

As we all know, the protagonists of the circus lived in the city, because Gangle worked at a fast food restaurant, which are mostly found in cities; Kinger was a technician who probably helped create the circus; Pomni was an accountant (confirmed by Gooseworx); Zooble had a tattoo studio (also confirmed by Gooseworx); and while we don’t know much about Jax, I believe he lived in the city too. But then Ragatha mentioned horses, and I came to two possible conclusions: one is that she lived on a ranch, and the other is that she came from a wealthy family. I believe the second option is more likely — in fact, to create a company, someone has to fund it. If Ragatha came from a rich family, maybe they were the ones who financed the C.A. (presumably the Circus), even knowing the consequences. And since Ragatha arrived a bit after Kinger, maybe she saw too much and ended up being trapped by her own family to prevent the news from getting out. This could explain why Ragatha tries so hard to be liked by others — since she didn’t do that before, she might think it’s her fault that she ended up stuck in there.

Moreover, Ragatha plays the cello, which is still a refined instrument.

Obviously, this is just a theory — a bit of a bold one — but it would be interesting

THEORY

I’m sure the guys we saw in the trailer were either who they were before they came to the circus, or the side of their personality they don’t show to others. But I think ‘evil’ Ragatha is going to target either Ragatha herself in a really cruel way

Ragatha jelous girl

As we saw in episode 4, Ragatha, under the effect of the stupid sauce, admits that she is jealous of the relationship between Pomni and Gummingo. In fact, Ragatha seems to have had a romantic attraction to Pomni since day one (maybe it’s just friendship, but I don’t think so).

However, as we saw in the teaser, they will be in the savannah, and I suppose we might also find crocodiles there. As shown in episode 4, Caine recycles NPCs, so it’s likely that the victims of these hunters will be the gummy crocodiles. Also, since they seem to have weapons, they might actually be hunters.

I believe Ragatha will have a jealous outburst over Pomni and Gummingo’s relationship, and she might even want to shoot Gummingo. This would explain Gooseworx’s quote: ‘Since you liked evil Ragatha, episode 5 will be very exciting.
