The Little Joy
Rag talks about the little joy in Japan.
Hey guys! Do you guys know about Tokyo Hands and Loft in Japan? They are Japanese chain store that sells everyday commodities. From skincare to kitchen wares. One of my favourite section of it is the stationary section! I swear Japan sells one of the most amazing stationaries. From anime collaboration pens to artisan-crafted pens. And what do I love to buy most? It will be their post-it notes and stickers! Let me show you some of ‘loots’ (might not be the best pictures lmao):

First, those stickers on my laptop are from B-Side Label. I'm sure some of y’all heard of the brand. They have their original line of stickers as well as collaboration stickers ( as you can see on my laptop will be Capcom x B-Side Label and Raman1/2) The stickers’ cost range from 216yen-864yen depending on their size. Here’s the link if you’re interested in checking it out!

These are stickers from both Tokyo Hands and Loft. To be honest, they are too cute to be used. Lmao but still I do use them from my planner. And I have to say, the quality of the stickers are awesome. The cost around 150yen-250yen depending on the material of the sticker.

And fianlly will be the post-it notes! Japanese’s post-it notes are super creative.

This is one of my favourites. So the face of that guy (he supposed to be some historical person, but I can’t remember who he was, SORRY) you’re able to draw any expressions on him! These post-it notes make the best little Thank You or Reminder notes!
I can spend up to 4 hours just shopping in Tokyo Hands or loft. So this is just one small little joy I love in Japan! If ya guys ever visit Japan, do swing by Tokyo Hands or Loft and you might find some of the perfect gifts for yourself or your loved ones!

It’s new!
Hey guys!
You guys might know me as @ragginess or you may not know me at all. But, just let me introduce myself a little bit before we get started. I’m Rag, and you can call me rag or raggy. I’m from Singapore and currently living in Kyoto.
Let’s get to the point of why am I starting this blog. I always wanted to start a blog where I can talk about anything that I’m able to relate to. I don't usually share my feelings with others and tend to keep them to myself. I might seem like an extroverted person when I’m outside, but it was only a persona to keep myself protected. After moving to Japan for almost a year and a half, I came to realised my mental health wasn’t doing very well anymore. I found myself doing less of my hobbies like drawing and writing. I became restless and continuously having suicidal thoughts. It was hard for me to open up to talk to my families and friends about how I feel as it was just my personality and how I grew up to be. I could only brush my emotions off as a joke. You know, like just laugh it off so no one would take me too seriously. I'm afraid I will be a bother as well as being judged by them. To be honest, for me to start a blog and talk it took me a lot of courage.
Right now I feel that I need to pull myself together and start working on my mental health before it gets any worse. Although I think I probably should go and get some professional help, but I really don't have that courage and ain't got any of that dough for it. That’s why I thought I should just get this blog started. I will be in Japan for a little while more so I was thinking about documenting the rest of my stay in Japan while I’m at it.
So here I am. I’m hoping I will be able to keep this blog active as well as my art blog @ragginess. Over in this blog, it will be pretty much be about my life, fascinating and exciting stuff in Japan. Of course, it will be great to have interactions and responses from you guys. Like the things you wanna know about Japan or maybe helps with Japanese. So... let’s get started shall we! :)
Thanks for reading and understanding! これから宜しくお願いします。
