সফল জীবন

বাবাকে এক ছেলের জিজ্ঞাসা সফল জীবন কাকে বলে ? বাবাঃ- আমার সাথে চল, আজ ঘুড়ি উড়াবো।

বাবা ঘুড়ি ওড়ানো শুরু করলেন। ছেলে মনযোগ দিয়ে দেখছে। আকাশে ঘুড়ি বেশ কিছু ওপরে উঠার পর বাবা বললেনঃ এই দেখো ঘুড়িটা অতো উচুতেও কেমন বাতাসে ভেসে আছে। তোমার কি মনে হয়না এই সূতার টানের কারণে ঘুড়িটা আরোও উপরে যেতে পারছেনা? তা ঠিক, সূতো না থাকলে ওটা আরও উপরে যেতে পারতো!

বাবা আলগোছে সূতোটা কেটে দিলেন। ঘুড়িটা সূতার টান মুক্ত হয়েই প্রথমে কিছুটা উপরে গেল। কিন্তু একটু পরেই নিচের দিকে নামতে নামতে অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেল।

এবার বাবা ছেলেকে জীবনের দর্শন শুনাচ্ছেন ... শোনো, জীবনে আমরা যে উচ্চতায় আছি বা থাকি সেখান থেকে প্রায় মনে হয় ঘুড়ির সূতার মত কিছু কিছু বন্ধন আমাদের আরও উপরে যেতে বাধা দেয়।

যেমনঃ- ঘর...পরিবার...অনুশাসন..সন্তান..মা বাবা।

আর আমরাও সেইসব বাঁধন থেকে কখনো কখনো মুক্ত হতে চাই। বাস্তবে ঐ বন্ধনগুলোই আমাদের উঁচুতে টিকিয়ে রাখে, স্থির রাখে, নিচে পড়ে যেতে দেয় না। ঐ বন্ধন না থাকলে আমরা হয়তো ক্ষণিকের জন্য কিছুটা উপরে যেতে পারি, কিন্তু অল্পসময়েই আমাদেরও পতন হবে ঐ বিনে সূতোর ঘুড়ির মতই!

জীবনে তুমি যদি উঁচুতে টিকে থাকতে চাও তবে কখনোই ঐ বন্ধন ছিড়বে না। সুতা আর ঘুড়ির মিলিত বন্ধন যেমন আকাশে ঘুড়িকে দেয় ভারসাম্য, তেমন সামাজিক, পারিবারিক বন্ধনও আমাদের জীবনের উচ্চতায় টিকে থাকার ভারসাম্য দেয়। আর এটাই প্রকৃত সফল জীবন। (সংগৃহীত)
