The final panel is LSP with an arm around Lemongrab’s shoulder asking “Hey how come your pupils do that thing?” Lemongrab asks “what thing?” LSP says “like go thin.” The next page is two large panels, the first is a close up on Lemongrab’s face pointing at his eyes with a large grin on his face that displays his fangs, his eyes wide and his pupils completely slitted. He says “they do this was I get exciiited” The final panel is LSP looking at Lemongrab with her hands excitedly clenched and asking “does this mean you’re excited to see me?” while blushing. Lemongrab replies “Always!” with a smile on his face. end description.

okay okay this ended out so cute… I can make little comics after all. Also this is based on an observation I made about Lemongrab’s pupils contracting whenever he gets emotional. Like a reverse cat, I think.

since i'm on a midlife leaning old guy lg kick i think i will continue on.

middle aged lemongrab goes to the hardware store in a car driven by one of his kids because he doesn't know how to drive, wanders around for 50 minutes and then leaves with a paper sack full of the 2 items he needed to fix his leaking faucet.

he leaves quarters on the ground by the gumball machine by the exit on purpose just in case someone's kid is running around and spots it.

he scowls and sighs and goes on tangents a lot but he means well. he's only a mean old man when he hasn't had time to sit down and rest for the day.

he has some frown lines that he can get vain about occasionally but in all honesty he is extremely grateful he's made it this far in life. he didn't expect to live past the too old era, and although he's still stubborn and grouchy and has a hard time adjusting to things, he's doing so much better now that he has had time to heal from everything that happened, and now that he has people in his life who love him for who he is and want to help him when things get bad again.

he's never been one for pets but he does keep an eye out for birds, and when they're around he tries to leave food for them. he likes to walk down to the pond and feed the ducks peas from his garden in the spring.

he likes to go for walks. he could ride a lemon camel, but these days he values walking a little bit more. he's one of those older guys you see very early in the morning speed walking through the neighborhood wearing neon bike shorts.

he really tries to give his all for his kids. he can be a nagging voice sometimes but he does try to be a good father. he tries to spend as much time as possible with them, even when they're adults and he tries to maintain a good relationship with each of them after they've moved out. he does share some interests with them which helps, even if it's a little embarassing to have your dad tag along to go to a concert, or to spot him in the same store or at the same club.

he's big on cleaning. he used to be lazier about it but after he's had kids he is someone who breaks out anti bacterial wipes every 2 hours to wipe down the kitchen counter. he mostly does it for peace of mind.

he's a little rough around the edges when it comes to fishing because his eyesight isn't as good anymore and his reflexes are a bit fried from a lifetime of constantly being on edge but he still likes to do it. he can catch a decent carp on his own but he prefers to fish with a buddy so that he can have some help.

i think that lemongrab as a character is one of those that is really good when imagined as a middle aged man

so many male characters are held back by the fact that they're not wearing earrings when they so clearly should be wearing earrings

mkay so i'm gonna list out all my lumpygrab fankids as of right now because i think i've finally settled on a good setup for them all.

- pumice, the oldest kid and his dad's favorite. he's got his own house and has an age difference of at least 300 years older than all the other kids.

- ronnie, second oldest. he went to wizard college or whatever in wizard city and sucked really hard at that so he became a clown instead. he bounces around from place to place.

- darren and weavil, the twins. they're very close with pumice and they both have very little common sense.

- unnamed lumpy space kingdom heir that lives with lsp in the lumpy space while everyone else stays in Ooo. the absolute youngest. just chilling really.
