Ok, I'll admit I have a problem....

So... instead of using the colors I had so carefully put together.... I instead redid all of the swatches from (what was in 2022) the current colors available. I whittled it down a lot!

Included is a S4S palette (correctly tagged), .ase swatches, photoshop actions (made in CS6, uses vibrance layers), a tiny swatch you can include in previews (if wanted), and a text file with hex codes and lots of instructions.

I have made a bunch of recolors for myself so far with these actions. Mostly walls and build items, but some other stuff like curtains and clothing. Most walls & build items are sitting in my sims4 download folder (no previews yet) - I'm really trying to get the motivation to take proper pictures and post about the stuff I make.... Oh well.

PLEASE @ me and/or tag if you make recolors with this!! I would love to see them! :D

Master Post: The Witching Hour v2 Hair Recolors

I went looking for a default replacement/color palette to use on all the hairs, and fell in love with The Witching Hour by @pyxiidis. Inspired by @bioniczombie 's amazing spreadsheet for their hair recolors, I decided to make one of my own for all the recolors I was missing, as I'm terrible about taking screenshots and making posts. (Links below the cut)

As the picture shows, all the hairs are in the 24 Maxis colors and 16 extras. I also added 5 @pooklet swatches at the end (pastel colors from the 2020 revamp that I wanted), for a grand total of 45 swatches for each hair.

So far, I've uploaded 55+ hairs (all clay/Maxis style). They don't have custom thumbnails, but all have been correctly categorized (e.g. occults enabled, No Random, hair type, etc.) Please let me know if anything is broken, or if I've accidentally included the mesh with the recolor or something... I'm new to this. :)

Sims 3 CC dump -  Downloads & more below the cut

Festival Food Stands - **DEFAULT REPLACEMENTS** Stupid thing on the top of each chopped off (pie, cup, etc) and the multiplier fixed so there is no shadow remaining. Also redid the overlays for each season to be cuter. I did NOT change the presets, so they are exactly as ugly as they were in vanilla, lol. I don’t remember if I did a custom thumbnail. I doubt it.  DOWNLOAD

Most of the stuff I’ve made for TS3 over the years doesn’t have previews or anything - and the few that do, most are lazy TSRW previews. I don’t think I’ll be loading up TS3 any time soon to take more previews, so there is some random stuff in there. Anything pictured in this post has its link below it. P.S. The “Farewell” thing is just supposed to be kind of funny/light hearted - While I’ve been playing TS4 lately, there are parts of TS3 I miss. I might go back to it.

A bunch of default replacements. Most were to give items better masks and additional channels. 

42 patterns in package format - Most are from WoW, and they are usually stone or fabric. (Intended to add just a little texture) There are a couple of patterned ones.

This took entirely too long to put together. 3 years ago, I screengrabbed all the different paint colors for the Magnolia Homes paint collection available here. I made a list of all the hex codes so I could easily use them when I was using the CaSt tool in TS3. (If they have added more colors in the meantime, I don’t care bc there are too many colors in this palette already, lol)  

I recently started playing TS4 and wanted to recolor some walls using (some of!) these colors so I figured I would turn them into swatches and everything just snowballed from there.

The colors are all tagged properly in S4S - I just tagged them exactly as they were classified on the original website. Creams/Beige are Light Brown and Tans/Browns are Dark Brown. A lot of the colors don’t really look like they fit those categories (some VERY blue greens, for example) but that’s not my fault. There are a number of colors that are very close in shade, and at small size they look almost identical. 

I suggest you make your own copies of these palette files trimmed down to just your favorite colors because.... seriously.... nobody needs 10+ shades of off-white.

Included in the zip file: S4S palette file, .ase palette (Adobe & others), .afpalette file (Affinity products), preview pic, and a spreadsheet that has the name, hex code and classification of each color.

I’m recently getting back into Sims after a really long hiatus! I have a few things that I made for myself that I was thinking I would share.
