Around 500 Palestinians have been killed since Israel began its siege of Jabalia and northern Gaza earlier this month. 

Approximately 400,000 Palestinians, who have been cut off from food and water, remain in the north of the strip. Israel is currently attempting to expel the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians remaining in northern Gaza to transform it into a military zone under the ‘General’s Plan.’

This is an ethnic cleansing, and the elimination of all elements of life.

Hello, Hana Hyperfixates here! I’m a YouTuber with videos focusing mainly on Gravity Falls and fandom culture. But I’m also a Palestinian person who has been heartbroken watching the violence unfold in Gaza. So far more than 40,000 people have been killed, and countless more have been injured, starved, displaced and oppressed under the threat of genocide.

I want to do something about it, and if this fandom is what I know it to be, I’m sure others do, too. 

The Gravity Falls fandom has had no shortage of wonderful, generous efforts to extend aid to various charities and to those in need. Through my ten years in this fandom I’ve seen calendars and zines and similar projects be sold, with hundreds of dollars being raised.

So I am happy to announce a new fundraising effort: Mystery Twin Mystery Bags. 

The idea: bring in artists from across the fandom to design pins, stickers, charms, posters and more. These items would be pre-ordered, purchased, randomly assorted into mystery bags and shipped out to fans like you!  Options would exist at differently-priced tiers, for you to buy anything from a handful of random stickers, to a big box of everything, and the funds would all go to a great cause!

After shipping out items, 100% of the profits for this project would be split 50/50 between these two funds for aid and relief in Gaza.

As the situation in the Gaza is ever-evolving and needs change, we might add other charities onto this roster. We will be transparent if this ever happens. The most important thing is getting the money where it is needed the most.

We need artists and graphic designers with a wide range: Remember, the plan is to make everything from stickers to posters!

Before you apply, I also want to make something clear: Our ability to extend compassion and aid to Palestinian refugees is not at all at odds with our commitment against antisemitism. We condemn any antisemitic rhetoric in our space, in our replies, in our askbox and (once established) in our Discord, and that rhetoric is not welcome here. 

Our condemnation of the horrific actions of the government of Israel does NOT mean that we can’t protect and stand with our Jewish friends and community members. Likewise, us standing against antisemitism does not mean we can’t extend empathy and funding to the refugees of Palestine. People are dying, to help them is to be human. 

So do your part to help! I write to you from the heart ❤❤️‍🩹 Suffering, destruction, hunger and displacement in Gaza. My life was beautiful and normal, full of hope, dreams and hard work until the war came and destroyed everything sweet in our lives 😭💔🇵🇸😭😭

I was displaced from northern Gaza to the south, thinking it was a safe place, but there is no safe place in Gaza. Everything around us was destroyed and turned into rubble. We live every day in a nightmare, without opportunities for education or work, and I suffer from poverty, loss, hunger and homelessness.🇵🇸❤️ ‍🩹💔

Imagine that you have everything and suddenly you wake up and you have nothing left😭.

This is exactly what happened to us💔❤️‍🩹. We went from having everything to having nothing. In the blink of an eye, we lost everything, our home, our dreams,😭🇵🇸😭

Our memories, our possessions and our businesses. We are starting from scratch and we need your help to rise to the top step by step from scratch.💔

I worked as a lawyer before the war, and I have two children. Before the war, I lost my mother. I lost my home, my beautiful family and our memories. Our house consists of 4 floors. I also lost my husband's family home. We no longer have shelter or possessions. We are now in tents. We have lost our dreams, our lives, our future, our past... I don't want to lose more... My father is an old man who suffers from diabetes and needs medicine. He has no one to support him. I am the only one who has him and his dependents... Your help helps us survive the war... We suffer from the heat in these conditions... We suffer from the lack of available healthy water. .. There is no healthy food to eat, and if we find it, we need expensive food... Hello, everyone. I'm making this new post in hopes of revitalizing Youssef's campaign which is stagnating. Youssef is NINETEEN YEARS OLD and he bears the crushing responsibility of keeping his family alive during a genocide. In Youssef's words:

"Every day is a new battle. I work long hours, searching in the corners of the camp for any opportunity that allows me to earn some money. Fatigue grips me, but I can't afford to give up. My father is sick, trapped in his pain, and his eyes plead for help. There are moments when I feel my heart shatter when I see his gaze; he endures his suffering in silence, but I know he is hurting. As for my little brother, despite his innocence, he is fighting hepatitis due to contaminated food that we are forced to eat."

After a few weeks of pretty consistent 20(+) per day donat1ons, suddenly we've dropped to FOUR in 24 hours! Youssef and his family are still struggling, so let's not give in halfway. Currently, we are at $7611/15000. Let's do our part and help relieve some of their suffering.
