Happy Juneteenth, everybody~! ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
Isn't it cool to have such an important day in US history be recognized as a federal holiday? Something positive to think about amongst all this doom and gloom lately!

I’m curious, what inspired you to create your CotL fan character, Ewe?
Honestly, it's kind of a weird answer, but it was seeing the Mystic Seller for the first time when the Relics of the Old Faith DLC was teased.

I instantly got angelic "Be Not Afraid" vibes and started thinking "What if there was an angelic boss the lamb had to fight?" Keep in mind, this was back in early 2023, way before I even got to play the game, and I knew next to nothing about it cuz I had been avoiding spoilers (that didn't stop me from drawing stuff for it, though).
So, Ewe actually started as a mortal/follower form of said angelic boss, having been defeated by the lamb and reduced to a teeny size in order to be indoctrinated. I tried to think of an animal that represented purity and would be fit for an angel and couldn't stop thinking of sheep. I avoided choosing a sheep as the final pick for a while since the lamb was already a character, but ended up giving in to it.
These drawings are from 2023 (March to September specifically):

I picked up drawing things for the game again around February of 2024, after I finally got to play it (shout-out to my friend @304wv66 for gifting it to me for Christmas in 2023).
These drawings are from right before I first started posting the characters around March or April last year in 2024:

Sooo, all this was basically something in development that I was chipping away at for about a year and a half before sharing anything. 😅 It was honestly kind of nice just drawing for me with no pressure to post what I was working on, but I'm happy to share these now and it was pretty nice to flip through all these drawings and look at them again~
I know this response got pretty long, but hopefully you all enjoy it, and thank you for sticking with me all this time! 💕
#took over 5 hours to get all this stuff gathered scanned and organized but I'm glad I did it~#now if you excuse me I'm gonna go stretch my back 😂😅#art#my art#cult of the lamb#the ewe au#ewe#lamb#narinder#ratau#mystic seller#belle#beau#asks

Lowkey kinda feel bad for ascended lamb, they can't share a bed with nari or ewe anymore lol, can't go into the mating tent either, probably have to sleep outside in the elements as I'm betting they don't have a temple yet. They can no longer fully hug their spouses, nor kiss them beyond a peck. And like their wardrobe would be very limited at 2 stories tall(damn they big asf)
Like damn being an ascended God is cool and all but I'd lowkey be kinda sad about all the above if I was the lamb.
(This is assuming they can't just like temporaily change their size back to being small after fully ascending)
I think Lamb can shrink down to their Infant God/original height, but given the size difference it'd take a lot of energy and focus, making the issues you brought up still relevant.

It's definitely bittersweet.

inspired by your recent post: has ewe seen nari do the face splitting trick? and if so, what does she think of it?
I don't know if she's seen it since he doesn't do it all that much (considering it doesn't heal as easily as when he was a bishop), but if she did I don't think she'd like it. 😂

I’m curious, what inspired you to create Ewe and poly ship her with Lamb and Narinder?
I plan on making a larger response to this question (I have another similar one in my inbox) including old sketches and things that I drew super early on before I even started playing the game, so keep an eye out for that in the future~
#gonna be really hard for me to share old drawings but I'll do it anyway for you guys 😂😅#asks#cult of the lamb#the ewe au#ewe#lamb#narinder

I'm curious, I know it takes several long decades for Narinder and your Lamb to reach a mutual sense of affection but how did fhe final confession occur? Like the emotional tone, response, what how did Narinder come to accept, forgive and apologize to the Lamb and start their relationship?
How that wasn't too much 😅
No worries, not at all!
It definitely wouldn't happen until after the in-game event where Lamb helps all the bishops mend their respective wounds. I think it'd be hard for him, but over time, after observing the lamb's tenacity and forgiveness, Narinder finds himself softening and letting go of old grudges (with the lamb, his siblings, etc.). I think it's important that he loses the iron grip he has on his pride along the way; it's what allows him to come to accept the lamb's take on becoming the official God of Death. He gains a lot of respect for them.
After that, what was previously more of a stubborn, lover's quarrel style relationship between the two of them, things become more soft, and they both open up about their feelings, their pasts, their thoughts, etc., leading to a deep connection and large amount of trust and understanding.
Hopefully that ramble answered your question. 😅
#I really like how in-game Narinder grows less cynical and falls into his feelings of sadness and mourning#like he really has to sit with what happened between himself and his siblings and where he is now#my original playthrough bugged out so I didn't get his last dialogue which is unfortunate#because when he talks to the lamb about the vastness of the world and the fragility of mortalhood eventually being allowed to roam free#his thanks towards the lamb really resonated with me as a great game lore moment#ANYWAY thank you for the ask!!#asks#cult of the lamb#narinder#lamb#narilamb

All the way up to 39 followers now, thank you so much!!
Only 11 to go, so if any of you aren't subscribed but are interested in doing so, I'd definitely appreciate it~! ✨
Do me a solid? 🥺
I've met all the other criteria to become a Twitch Affiliate, save for my subscriber count. I'm at 28 now, but need 50 followers to start monetizing my streams. The extra money earned while streaming would definitely help me out, and offer additional stream times in the future for those of you who aren't available on Fridays and Sundays.
So, if you can, please subscribe to my Twitch! Even if you don't plan on watching or aren't able to right now, it'd really help me out! 💕
#i appreciate anyone who's able to do this!#and those of you who aren't interested i understand that also =]#twitch#streams
