Picked up the yellow version of the 850 yesterday. I had too really, been leaving it behind loads and after my post about the red ones I felt it was meant to come home with me. #serendipity. Red is the best colour!!! . Got a few of these! Always been one of my fav cars this Volvo! Got Blender out again having a play about designing a set of callipers for @nitrotarantula and his kick ass Vans he's building. . Took me a good few hours to get this far, still a few details like brakelines to add. I'm happy with it so far and it's probably one of my most detailed and intricate designs. . Glad to get back into my designing as been so long and haven't really touched it since being back to work after lockdown is over. . Also added a cool detail of my name onto it, I will be eagerly awaiting how well it comes out. I keep forgetting how small these pieces are when I'm designing them on screen. Thankfully this is 1:24 amd not 1:64 which will make it a tad easier to see details. . Think I need to work on some disks too next. Got some of the kits I've had for a while out to build along side my R32. . Had the 206 for about 15 years, mostly painted but not put together yet. . The R34 was a present from my Mrs a few years ago that I haven't touched. . The mechanics set was a couple of years ago too but due to a lack of 1:24 models I hadn't bothered with them yet. . The 1:32 R32 I bought the same time as my 1:24 version to make a miniature one and also see what the Owners Club models are like. . Making a start on my 1:24 Tamiya R32 GTR. . Doing something I've not done before... sort out the mould lines. I really want to do the best I can on this and get every detail right. . I'm using 800grit paper and need to find my finer grades so I can smooth it some more. . Making a start on my 1:24 Tamiya R32 GTR. . This kit looks really good with some nice details including the RB26DETT engine and a clear bonnet to view it through. . I wish they put in an extra bonnet so you have the choice as I want both a body coloured bonnet and a clear one which I could switch between. . Part 3 of our Eden Project visit. . This cool turtle recycling bin was one of my highlights. Helping to demonstrate the effect plastic has on our oceans. . There was also a really cool diorama in the main hall.
