FRIENDS

Allah says:  “Close friends on that Day will be foes to one another – except for the righteous.”  [Sûrah al-Zukhruf: 67] Allah also says: “The believing men and women are protecting friends of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.”  [Sûrah al-Tawbah: 71]  Abû Hurayrah relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:  “Allah will ask on the Day of Judgment: ‘Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory? Today, - on a day when there is no shade but mine – I shall shade them with My shade.”  [Sahîh Muslim (2566)]  The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:  “A Muslim’s supplication for his brother in secret is answered. At his head an angel is appointed, and whenever he supplicates for his brother with something good, the angel appointed to him says: ‘Amîn, and likewise for you’.”  [Sahîh Muslim (2733)]

WUDU

The Holy Prophet (saw) said, “If anyone of you wakes up from sleep and performs wudu, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out three times, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all night.” [Sahih Bukhari] SubhanAllah can you imagine, Shaitan has been hiding up our nose all night? That completely disgusts me. In which way? How does he even get in there? Again this spiritual world that is difficult for us to understand. Allah (SWT) says, “Certainly, Shaitan and his tribe watch you from a position from which you see them not.” [Quran 7:27] Rasool Allah (saw) said, “None of you makes wudu and completes the wudu then says: “Ashhadu an la ilaha illAllahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, wa ashhadu an-na Muhammadan abduhu wa rasoolu,” except that all eight Gates of Paradise are opened for him - so that he may enter by whichever he pleases.” (Sahih Muslim)

THREADING THE PATH OF KNOWLEDGE

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah makes the way to the Garden easy for whoever treads a path in search of knowledge.” [Muslim] Traveling on the path to knowledge refers both to walking along an actual pathway, such as going on foot to the assemblies of the Ulama, as well as to following a metaphysical road, such as studying and memorizing. This Hadith also alludes to the road leading to the Garden on the Day of Judgment, which is the straight path.

PEACE AND SUBMISSION

Islam means ” Peace and submission ”, and a Muslim is someone who totally submits himself to the will of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى).  Islam is complete and perfect and is not subjected to abrogation or any additions.  ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) says: ”This day, i have perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [Sur’ah Al Maa’idah, 5:3] Being the final religion which had abrogated religions before it, Islam is the only religion that ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) will accept: ” And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and in the life to come he will be among the losers. ” [Sur’ah Al Imraan, 3:85]

7 QUALITIES ALLAH DOES NOT LIKE

‎7 qualities Allah does not like mentioned in the Quran :  1. Extravagance “But waste not by excess: for Allah loves not the wasters” [Surah Al An’am 6:141] 2. Pride “Verily He loves not the arrogant(proud)­.” [Surah An Nahl 16:23] 3. Arrogant boaster “For Allah loves not any arrogant boaster.” [Surah Luqman 31:18] 4. Transgression “For Allah loves not transgressors.”­ [Al Ma’idah 5:87]  5. Evil, Wrongdoing “But Allah loves not those who do wrong”. [Surah Al Imran 3:57] 6. Treachery “For Allah loves not the treacherous.” [Surah Al Anfal 8:58] 7. Mischief-makers­ “And Allah loves not those who do mischief.” [Surah Al Ma’idah 5:64]

YOUR HANDS WONT BE LOWERED EMPTY

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah is the Ever-Living, the Most Generous, and if a man raises his hands in supplication, He will be ashamed to let them be lowered disappointed and empty.” [Abu Dawud, Kitab ad-Dua] Umar ibn al-Khattab (radi Allahu anhu) said: “I do not have any anxiety about the answer, but I worry about the Dua itself, because anyone who is inspired by Allah to make Duas immediately invokes His response when he makes the Dua.
