why don’t you recognize i’m so rare?✨ here’s to all the poc who went/go to a predominantly white school!! being in a class where you’re one of the only people with brown skin can feel isolating, but that’s what makes you so special. never question why you don’t look like the girls with blonde hair and light skin, because chances are they over tan and get injections to emulate what you already have. you’re beautiful just the way you are and you don’t have to conform to what society thinks is beautiful.
