Hi I hear we r talking about genloss so its me, the one anon who kept talking about the founders game and stuff.

Honestly as someone who does enjoy genloss as a whole, ep 2 really was the weakest. It just couldn't quite land that balance of comedy and humor and dragged on at plenty of spots. So it sucks that it's the one a lot of people specifically tuned in for because of the cast.

People joke abt how bad ep 1 was (especially as it came out) but honestly the bad jokes and bad acting feel a lot more intentional in ep 1 than ep 2.

Then the founders cut took a year and also sucked ass and took away a lot of the things that made the original streams charming and impactful. Plus it felt less like it was for new viewers and more like it was meant to appeal to the remaining twitter genloss fans.

The founders game sucked because no one fucking knew about it and in the end it didn't tell us anything new. Ig we got Ben tho so win for people who like jocks.

My expectations are low for gen 2, but honestly I'm just excited that we r finally here because lowkey I think this might be genloss's last chance at re-snagging an audience beyond the mostly twitter fans who only really like it cuz ranboo made it.

I do kinda hope they can pull it off and make something interesting again like gen 1 was for me, but im not gonna hold my breath either lmao. Especially cuz ranboos team is just fans he hired from twitter so... we'll see

Had the craziest dream where ranboo completely fell the fuck off. i’m not talking rn like sad fandom echochamber im talking EVERY single post and video was the weirdest sponsor ever. he was promoting discount furniture and shein clothes, he had no content of his own anymore it was all shady sponsors but the craziest part is i was still watching for some reason

The first stream was rough but I still liked Charlie back then, so I got through it staying positive

The second stream was the most boring and unfunny shit I've ever sat through and was a pure "oh wow, look, this cc is here!" fest. You can remove the entire stream from the story and it wouldn't change shit. In fact, it would greatly improve the viewing experience.

The third stream was the best of them and that's because it was entirely and purely carried by Slimecicle. Man I wish he didn't went down the gooner, AI slob, lolicon gf route. But the ending is so bad, it still pisses me off how he talks about it like it's so deep and smart. Like yea no shit man ofc people are gonna vote for you to die when you're actively screaming at them to vote for it when the other option was winning

Guess we just have to wait for gen2…

one of my like core memories was watching gen loss live with a friend then having a realization of “wow this sucks”. hate ranboo with a passion don't get me wrong but aimsey could just be doing the classic internet friend group thing where the friendship ended so she's gone back and decided every small grievance or indiscretion he made towards her was actually a dagger to her tender open heart and it's been bleeding for years.

aimsey and ranboo both seem like they'd suffer a friendship divorce their 2nd year of high school and have to have a coparenting agreement to run the GSA and queer fiction club so idk it feels like a safe bet imo 🤷‍♀️ these 2 will never grow out of their steven universe years

Yea exactly this. I get that after a friendship fallout you start to think back and get pissed off by some old stuff. But knowing that this possibility happened when he was 17/18, before they became besties and Aimsey learned how damn riddled with mental health issues Ran is... like ofc being young doesn't make it okay, but especially since they stayed friends for so long after, they could've just talked it out 🤨

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I vaguely remember Ranboo mentioning here and there that people that hate on Aimsey and his friends in general aren't welcome in his community. So, if that's right, they would've had even less of a reason to not just talk about it in private, instead of keeping it until they're no longer friends and then judge him based on a mindset he (possibly) has long changed.

It's just hard to imagine either of them being in the right over a fallout they both seem too unstable for that
