This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream. How Ticketmaster broke my heart this week..

Hello guys, its been forever since I'm not active in this platform.. But with everything going on this week I thought I should start using this platform again to at least take out from my chest the experience I lived this week with Ticketmaster.. 

I love Taylor Swift with all my heart, I’ve been a swiftie for more than 15 years I want to say (first time I listened to TS was Love Story for my sister’s sweet sixteen lol); as a queer person, Taylor gave me the strength to enjoy being myself by singing, dancing and living my life through her music, she healed my heart with i had my first brake up, I found the comfort in her music and because of that, she always will have a special place in my heart..

Last Tuesday I was so sad and disappointing how the monopoly of Ticketmaster played with people’s feelings, dreams and hopes.. and everything was about the stupid money.. I previously got tickets for the lover fest, reputation, 1989, red, etc.. I’ve been following Taylor since I remember..

But Tuesday morning was a difference experience.. I remember I had a horrible morning because of the anxiety thinking if I was gonna be able to get tickets with the presale.. I had my presale code (and supposedly a booster for the west - lover fest); but then the nightmare began.. first the anxiety of being in the waiting room, after waiting a while the website collapsed and they changed the presale time to 3pm; once I was back in the waiting room and joined the queue I waited for almost 2hrs to get in the presale again; once that i was in the sale there were pretty much NOTHING, I tried to secure at least 2 tickets (for my man and I) and when i was about to pay them, Ticketmaster kicked me out of the sale and lost them, i tried to join the queue again but by the time I was back, all tickets were sold out.. no tickets were left, NONE and all the tickets were instantly in resale almost 3 times from what the original price was.. I was devastated, sad, disappointed, heartbroken, i didn't know what to say or think.

I remember staying in the parking lot of my work (watered eyes with mora than few tears on my face), just trying to focus and positive, but at the same time I realized that it’s not fair to be following an artist for so long, being loyal all this time to just let other people takes advantage of this and make a business from it? this needs to stop, someone or something needs to stop this Ticketmaster empire, because it always the same experience with any artist.

I was so excited and happy because I thought I was gonna make it.. it was going to be my first time taking my partner to see Taylor Swift, to share something meaningful to me.. but not.. and saddest part, I didn’t thought it was gonna hurt me this bad.

After few days keeping my mind distracted from all this, i saw hope this morning with Taylor’s thought about what happened with Ticketmaster and now that light has been back; I love you Taylor, I know this its not your fault at all.. I really hope we can go to see you next year, but if I cant buy any of those expensive resale tickets, i’ll wish you with all my heart that your tour rocks and bright as you always do!🤍

With everything going on regarding this TICKETMASTER WORLD WAR, this morning i started feeling better knowing Taylor has spoke and that she is not gonna stay quite, let’s not lose our hope that all of us we are gonna get the chance to see her and sing all her songs live, next year 💙
