Y’all ever think there’s an isekai out there where a drug addict gets evicted into another world. The people of that world summoned her because they’ve been looking for a warrior in their time of need. In fact the people/ Wizards/ Prince, are under attack and recklessly call upon another being from another world. In comes a crack head of a woman who’s already on the run from cops and went through this secret door to escape from them just to find herself in that new world. The Prince makes a deal with the addict that he would give her anything she asked for in return for his protection. The enemies close in on the Prince and wizards then the Addict pops in and already armed, proceeds to body the enemies! She stands over their bodies and thirst out her hand! “YOU JUST FIND YOURSELF A DEAL MISTER!”

Azul could tell there was someone else on her mind when he spent time with her. At first he tried to brush it off as him being overly worried- he’s being paranoid, he needs to relax. Maybe it’s just his old insecurities creeping back in, but he shouldn’t let that bother him when he’s finally on a date with his darling- with the woman he’d been pining after ever since he entered NRC. It should be a happy moment, but as he watches her mindlessly pick at her food, he worries.

“Is everything ok...? Is the food not good?” he asks, worried. He’d picked this restaurant because the reviews raged about the romantic aura and good food; certainly with the chandeliers and the soft violin music, the promise of a romantic mood was fulfilled, but maybe it was the food? His own salad tasted... Well, it tasted about as good as any salad could (which meant he didn’t like it at all, but that was more his fault than the restaurant’s).

“Ah, it’s perfectly ok! My mind just wandered for a bit.” she gave him a smile when she replied, and his heart beat faster. He was in deep. He couldn’t believe he’d let his heart be stolen by someone, but he was sure that she held power over his entire being, with just one smile.

It wasn’t long before he confessed, and she said yes. He should have been overjoyed- hell, he was happy enough he cried while hugging her, but... Something still nagged him. The way she always seemed happy with him, but happier when a particular eel was around, how she’d pop into the Mostro Lounge and greet him with a kiss and then turn around and greet Jade with a bright smile- little things piled up, and he was slowly starting to fear again. But she never mentioned wanting to break up: she never expressed any unhappiness with him, not once. So was the relationship working? Was it not? Azul hated to admit he was losing sleep over the question.

Perhaps he could have withstood her longing glances to the other man’s direction, or her “friendly” hugs towards him. He could have turned a blind eye to that, and squashed the jealousy and envy in his heart- but he couldn’t keep ignoring it when his right hand man began to return the actions. Nothing could hurt Azul more than being in a friendly chat with his darling, holding her hand, and the second Jade walked in she’d perk up more, and then the damn eel would act all giddy too. It made him sick in the stomach, to see her and Jade sneaking furtive glances at each other like lovesick puppies. Wasn’t she dating him? Was he not enough?

He didn’t want to think she was being unfaithful, despite all the subtle hints indicating his girlfriend had eyes for another man- another man who seemed to love her back. As far as he could tell, she was silently pining for Jade- pining while dating him. Was he just a stand-in while she tried to win Jade’s heart? Couldn’t she notice that he was clearly infatuated with her? If so, why was she still with him? He wanted to believe a part of her still loved him, and hell, it was so easy to tell himself that. She’d bring him gifts and trinkets, take him out on dates, massage his shoulders when she thought he was too tense; her kisses were sugary sweet, her embraces heaven. He could almost get lost in all the affection- almost, until he’d see something like Jade greeting her by placing a kiss on the back of her hand, and she’d go tomato red.

He loved her, and she maybe loved him- but she also loved Jade, and Jade loved her, too. Why did it have to be so complicated? Why couldn’t it be a cut and dry love story, where he fell in love with a girl, and then they dated through school and got married? Was he not enough, in the end? He felt a bit sorry sometimes, when in dark nights, tangled in the sheets and illuminated only by moonlight, he’d cling to his darling, asking her those questions- am I enough? Will you truly stay by my side? Do you love me?- and she’d patiently reply “yes” to every single one of them...

But he knew that she was gentle and kind, perhaps too gentle and kind- he wished she’d just rip off the bandaid all at once, stop giving him sweet and gentle lies to keep him and bay- he knew that she loved Jade.

I’m going to post this here because this is one of the best fanfiction accounts I remember reading as a kid! 

And low-key I kind of use this account as a bookmark of all the best fanfiction I’ve read. So I must put this one on too!

I want to address one thing that I KNOW some people are going to complain about because they've already complained about if it would happen, and that’s The Doctor and Derpy getting together in the end. I understand the concerns. This is in no way meant to say ‘your abusers will eventually change for the better if you just say the right things to them’. This isn’t that kind of story. These are special circumstances that DO NOT EXIST in real life where the abuser was under MAGICAL mind control. That’s not who he actually is and when he’s himself he’s not remotely an abuser. He is safe from having a relapse, the curse is gone and over with because the core Discord was killed while the fragment left over in their universe has been reformed.

 Real abusers are not under any kind of puppetry or mind control when they do what they do, and no not even getting drunk counts as this because when someone is an abusive drunk they’re still choosing to get drunk when they are well aware of what they do when under the influence. If The Doctor did any of this abuse on his own terms, I wouldn’t have let them get back together. I’m an abuse survivor, I know better than that. When you try to compare completely fantasy scenarios that can’t happen in real life to.. Well, real life, you’re kind of reaching at straws at that point. Besides, this relationship wasn’t automatically better just because he returned to normal. Both of them suffered damage and trauma and both needed to navigate around it to be able to trust one another again. If there’s any kind of comparison to make, it’d be more like a loved one suffering a psychotic episode and doing horrible things they’d never do in their right mind. And some people are able to understand and forgive, while others are not. The pain of having a psychotic episode and saying and doing things that hurt people is really hard to overcome, it’s hard to trust yourself and it can be hard to make amends. But a psychotic episode does not dictate who a person is. It just doesn’t. And that’s the closest thing to reality this story is. I tried to handle this as best I could, because in my line of work recovery is the most important thing and I understand that someone coming out of a bad episode needs support and compassion (Unless they’re a terrible person in general) and there have been extreme cases where perfectly good people end up going as far as murder- even murdering their own children, but their loved ones are able to reason that they were sick and they are going to suffer great pain upon realizing what they’d done, and they are going to seek help. Maybe you wouldn’t be able to forgive someone who did terrible things in a psychotic state, and that’s within your right, but it doesn’t mean people who can forgive are any less valid. Listen, if a husband can be capable of not blaming his wife for killing their kids in a psychotic state (a very real event that happened rather recently, simply google “wife psychosis news killed children husband forgives” and you’ll find it), it's perfectly reasonable that someone can forgive someone who was under magical mind control.

If you are in a physically abusive relationship, you need to get out of it. The likelihood of this person changing for the better is extremely low, and you can’t cling to the idea of the rare few people who manage to work through these kind of things. Those are very special circumstances and in my opinion if there’s a relapse into violence after making genuine efforts to change, that should be the end of it once and for all. It shouldn’t be happening to begin with, it should not be tolerated. You matter, you deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion. Never let anyone tell you or make you feel otherwise. Please take care of yourselves, and DO NOT use this story as a basis for how to manage your own relationships, no matter how much you might think you see yourselves in it. This is fiction, and the scenarios in this story do not happen in real life. If you can’t discern reality from fiction, that is all on you, not me.

You were as still as a pond.

Yet, you made him feel like he was trapped in a storm.

He never failed to notice small details about you. The way the hopeful glint in your eyes began to fade, how your warm soft hands became colder and rougher, how your gentle cradles on Grim became tighter and tighter after each overbolt, how you started wearing long sleeved shirts, how your lips became sore and raw from constant biting, how the atmosphere around you became like thick ice at the meer mention of the word 'home'.

Its normal for friends to worry about each other, right?

So why does looking into your dull eyes hurt him so much? Why was your silence so deafening? Why does your damaged skin feel like knifes against his own?

Silently, he stood beside you throughout each overbolt, sat beside you during class and ate lunch with you daily. Yet, you feel so far away, seemingly lost in your own mind. He wanted to help you find your way out, to hold your hand and guide you.

The more he watched the glint in your eyes fade, the further he felt he was from you. He couldn't be a bystander anymore, he couldn't be your friend anymore, he wanted to be yours. Yet he stayed silent, he couldn't risk breaking the bond he had built so carefully. Not now, not yet.

He contemplates why he befriended Ace as he walked through the light drizzling with a tight hold on both his polka-dot umbrella and shopping bag.

Ace had eaten yet another one of Riddle's tarts whilst he was busy with dormleader duties, luckily Trey was kind enough to bake another as long as Ace did half of the labour, though he was low on eggs. After enough contemplating, Deuce relented and decided to get the eggs himself after enough begging from Ace as neither wanted a scolding.

Walking from Sams shop, eggs in one hand and polka-dot umbrella held tightly in the other, frustration at the ginger being forgotten  with each step he took of the path you two walked toghther; reminiscing of when you and him talked toghther for the first time, heart to heart. With him confiding in you about his past and regrets, even after all he told you all he had done you treated him no different and he deeply appreciated you for that.

Almost as if the universe had read his mind and decided to throw him a bone. He saw you, seated on a bench unprotected against the rain, soaked from head to toe. Surprisingly, you were unaccompanied, no flaming Racoon by your side. The longer he took to retrieve the eggs increased Aces chances of being collared, but that wasn't his problem. He gladly approached you.

"Yuu!" He called out, walking up to you with a smile on his face.

You looked in the direction of the familiar footsteps and voice, eyes softening landing as they on him. Returning his sweet smile you scoot over, spatting the spot beside you beckoning him to sit beside you. He does so obediently.

"Your out awfully late" you spoke teasingly, looking him up and down

Deuce responded with a chuckle "covering Ace's ass again" he sat close placing the shopping bag beside him and moving the umbrella to shield the two of you even though it was uselessas you were already soaked, you laugh lightly at the trouble the ginger always seems to get himself into, eyes glancing down at the eggs knowingly.

"Why are you in the rain?" He asked after brief pause "and where's Grim?" He added shortly after.

"Got a lot on my mind is all" you sighed, replying to his first inquiry "Grim's back at ramshackle taking a nap" you replied to his second, smiling at the thought of your little companion sleeping peacefully back at your residence, safe, unbothered and unaware.

"Whats on your mind? I'm here if you need to talk" his voice was soft, eyes gazing longingly into your own, dispite your heart fluttering at the sweet smile he gave you, you hesitated.

After a moment of silence you confessed in a meek voice "Home.. whether or not I'll even be able to return" breaking the eye contact the two of you held to stare down at the wet ground beneath you.

He knew you'd been suffering in silence and he knew this wasn't the soul cause for your suffering. But hearing you finally confide in him slightly soothed his pining heart.

"Whether or not you can go back, I'll be by your side" the longing in his peacock coloured eyes intensified "I know there isn't much i can do to fix your situation, but I don't want you to feel like your alone"

Your eyes meet his once again, he unable to pinpoint the emotion behind them. Hesitence? Reciprocation? Scepticism? His heart throbbed, logic being replaced with longing.

"I want to see you happy" as if his heart travelled up his chest and into his mouth "I know you must be overwhelmed with what's already on your plate but....

You should date me too...

I'd make you happy"

...Silence, you didn't say a word.

He immediately began to back track, furrowing his brows and nibbling his bottom lip slightly; he felt a gush of regret wash over him, it was too soon wasn't it? He should've chosed a better setting to relay his feeling, he should've picked his words better, he should've-

"Ha.." the sound of gigglingrang through his ears, breaking his train of thought. You couldn't hold yourself together, a spurge of giggles escaped your through lips. Despite being soaked with rain water you felt warm, your belly felt fuzzy with butterflies and your heart pounding in your chest.

He sat, grip on the umbrella tightening. The wave of regret turning into relief as the look in your eyes reflected his own, with pure adoration and warmth. The silence you two shared was no longer filled with silent suffering but was now filled with silent affection. So entranced by your beaming smile he loosened his grip-

WHOOOSH!

"Gah!"

Panic set over the bluette as his only source of protection was swept away from him, he was quick to scurry after the flying umbrella. You remained sat, stunned but kept your eyes fixated on Deuce's frantic figure with a familiar hopeful glint in your eyes.

Your gaze settles down on a forgotten bag containing a carton of eggs. You expected Ace to be wearing a shiny red and black collar in class tomorrow

despite how much azul continues to do his best to learn about life on land… relationships are certainly difficult for him to understand sometimes considering how long he has spent his life in the sea and though there are many similarities between merpeople… there are still some differences. once azul is rather close to you he does become unintentionally— clingy with you. (when you two officially get together that's another story) but he has a habit of wanting to lean close to you or have a hand on you in some way, like on the small of your back when showing you something in the mostro lounge.

so needless to say, he is in love with any sort of touch from you he takes that as some sort of hope and sign that you reciprocate how he feels haha. jade and floyd tease him ALL the time about it especially when he was struggling to keep his cool-headed composure after you once gave him a hug after he did something to help you once.

like I've said azul really doesn't think about it or even try to be this way around you he just does aljdfajdkhf. he’ll feel like a smitten fool as he sits in the vip lounge as he's doing papers and just think about how you playfully linked your arm around his to bring him somewhere. small things like that are actually quite big to him when it comes down to the differences.

he's aware you probably don't know that you're unknowingly flirting with him, but he finds it amusing and plays along with you, nevertheless. he thinks it's cute that you don't know and all the more enticing, you’ll find him chuckling, trying to hide his grin with his gloved hand “oh my, I didn't know you liked me that much fufu” he’d say. you can't help but feel confused as to what he finds so interesting… like you literally just yawned.

it'll take him a while to actually tell you what it means since he finds the obliviousness to be quite cute. you only put two and two together when he tells floyd about what you did right in front of him and the two laugh about it. now you've got floyd teasing u about it..

like azul he is a little more affectionate just in a different more. in a less obvious fashion, though there definitely have been a few occasions where he likes to bring your hand to his lips and see your reaction, he finds it so amusing. he always has his teethy grin plastered on his face.

he hates the way he can always tell when you're wearing cologne or perfume and he hates that he likes it as well, he may or may not be a bit addicted to your scent. he literally can tell if you're near just because he knows the damn fragrance you use.

if you two are particuarly close... like him falling asleep around you and such. if you happen to pet his head and his ears, he immediately shoots you this look then mumbles something before being too tired to do anything about it or give you some retort. he just lets it happen... he does enjoy it anyway. slowly he kinda doesnt realize how clingy he can get with you because of it. he becomes a little needy and wanting more attention from you. he cant help it.... i mean you basically just showed him that you're fine with it anyways.

leona seems to be someone who can get pretty possessive, unintentionally too over you. kind of territorial, like if you're someone he has eyes for then he doesn't expect others to really get in the way of that.

malleus draonica

malleus is not only a fae but a pretty sheltered one too, I’d think he’d take almost anything from you as a sign of you being completely infatuated with him as he is with you. you could offer split your ice cream or invite him out somewhere, show any sort of interest in him as he talks about gargoyles as he’s doing single club activities. the one time you asked curiously and wanted to touch his horns, he’d be searching for the loveliest jewel to bestow you for your wedding day.

speaking of jewels… he gifts to you a lot especially after you give him anything first (it could be a cool rock you found) and he’d be so smitten and glad to reciprocate that by giving you earrings, rings, necklaces etc. and when you accept them even though you're not exactly fully understanding why he takes it even more as a sign of you accepting his advances.

after taking any of your little acts of being somewhat kind to him and he’s already so deeply into you, lilia would certainly be someone who hears just all about it. i think he would only feel happy for malleus, as it appears he must’ve found the right one. he is just supportive of malleus and is simply overjoyed to know he has some little human that makes him so happy.

lilia vanrouge

he has lived long enough and in different places to understands human courting's and more so than someone like malleus. he knows how different it is, trust me he is fully aware, but he thinks it's amusing. lilia pretends to take it the wrong way and watch you get all confused, when he's just being playful.

just cant help that he finds it so adorable when you unknowingly show him affections as a fae would in his culture. even just being slightly affectionate with him is enough to have him giggling and warning you to be careful to what fae you do that to. they do tend to take very kindly towards any affections and gifts!

lilia will straight up tell you though too, you could gift him and give him something neat you found or made, and he'd look up at you with a stupid grin like "kfufu... i accept your love, dear" NO???. he still holds onto anything from you with the utmost joy.

You watched as he drunkenly stumbled over himself, trying to be suave and seductive. However, he looked like a drunk idiot tripping over his feet. His attempt to woo you ended with a sloppy kiss on your forehead before he slumped his body weight on you. With a squeal, you tried to hold him upright, but the two of you fell back on his bed.

You laughed softly and wrapped your arms around him. "What made you get drunk?"

"To tell ya...I love ya." He mumbled, burying his face in your chest. Drunk people speak the truth, right? So, it would be no different with Leona, right? For the rest of the night, you lay wide awake.

Malleus

Malleus would not stop talking, but you were enjoying his slurred rambling. Seeing the way you were looking at him, he felt his heart skip a beat. Was it your look or the amount of alcohol? The prince had no idea but leaned over the table, his movements somewhat erratic.

"(Y/n), you look enchanting," he said, his breath smelling of wine.

Malleus went to capture your lips but stumbled and fell flat on his face. You winced at the sight of his face meeting the wooden table with a thud. How were you going to explain Malleus' red face to Lilia, Silver, and Sebek? It wasn't like you could openly tell them the prince tried to kiss you.

Vil

Vil made his way to the bed with his arm stretched out. Earlier in the day, he had texted you that he was attending a party, but you had not expected him to return home drunk. Chuckling, you held your arms out, ready to embrace him. But instead of hugging you, Vil stumbled towards the tall bedpost and embraced it.

“Uh, Vil?” You chuckled. “I am right here.”

He blinked his eyes and narrowed them to focus on you before returning his gaze to the bedpost. The next moment, Vil started laughing. You watched him slump against the bedpost and laugh. Even after a few minutes, he didn’t stop. Though you had no idea what was so funny, you watched him with an amused smile.

Riddle

Riddle had been eyeing you all evening but didn't want to show you affection in front of his friends. Unbeknownst to him, some of the prankster friends added strong alcohol to his drink. In an hour, he was stumbling all over the place, his vision blurry and his mind unwilling to focus on anything.

But when he saw you sitting with a smile, he stumbled over to you with red cheeks and a goofy grin. Before he could lean in for a kiss, Riddle tripped over the leg of a nearby table and landed face-first in your chest. You stared down at him with wide eyes while Trey and Cater spit out their drinks.

You wondered if you should tell Riddle tomorrow that he had much fun nuzzling his face in your chest while commenting on how warm you felt and how calming your heartbeats were.

Kalim

Kalim stumbled over to you with his arms wide open and lips puckered. He had way too much alcohol and couldn't keep himself standing. The next moment, he fell to the ground, face-planting on the floor; instead of your mouth, Kalim's lips met the cold, hard ground.

You quickly covered your mouth and chuckled at the sight. If only you had your phone, you could have taken a video. A few seconds later, he looked up at you, his lips still puckered. Even in his drunken state, he hoped you would give him a kiss.

Azul

Azul got one too many drinks, and you wondered just how strong the alcohol was to make him this drunk. His motor skills were just as shot as his thinking abilities. But his mind was still able to recognize you, his secret crush. Or he thought it was a secret, but you already knew he liked you.

He looked at you briefly with softness in his unfocused eyes. Azul wobbled close to you with a sheepish grin. He puckered his lips and went to meet yours, but due to this double vision, he went right past you and headbutted into the wall. He groaned loudly, causing you to chuckle at his cute attempt to kiss you.

Idia

Idia rarely drank, so you couldn’t fathom his reason for getting drunk. As your eyes followed him, wobbling towards your bed, you saw him purse his lips. Thinking he wanted a kiss, you prepared yourself to give your boyfriend a big smooch. But just as he attempted to kiss you, he fell face flat onto the mattress. You blinked rapidly and got a little worried when he didn’t move.

“Idia?” You gently shook him.

As soon as he hit the mattress, Idia passed out. You laughed to yourself and watched him sleep with a warm smile, snuggling up close to him.

-His cheeks were a bright red and in your face yelling, but then he paused

-So you took the opportunity quickly,

-Somehow, his face became an even brighter red 

-He was in a shocked daze until Deuce and Ace started cackling

-”W-what are you even talking about?!”

-”You heard me, Riddle.”

-And now he’s just a bumbling, red mess Deuce, Ace and you were luckily able to get off scot free

-He dragged you away to try on this new lip product, as he said it would change your life

-And while you were doubtful, Vil was always incredibly picky so him giving away praise like this wasn’t exactly common

Chokes on his drink when you tell him you'd like to be an octo merperson for a day

It's not that he's against it or anything, just, why would you? He won't say it out loud, but he can't really find anything good about being like that. He knows he doesn't like it -- The way he looks in the water.

The way your eyes light up when you talk about it gets to him, though, and his face goes all red as you excitedly talk about all the cool things he must be able to do underwater.

You see, Azul is a big overthinker in general, and crushing on someone makes that habit of his even stronger -- Every word you say about this will be swirling in his head for a while. He gets all sort of ideas of how he could go about this situation.

An expressive part of his doesn't understand why you'd want to take on such a form, even temporarily, and another tells him that once you do experiment with having it, you'll be disgusted by it, and then disgusted by him in the process.

But your excitement really charms him. He won't come to you with it right away but, sometime after the conversation, Azul approaches you with a bottle held tightly in his hands -- And with a little more of a nervous hint to his voice, tells you it's a potion that'll let you take on that form for a day, just like you wanted.

He's a bit anxious once you're underwater, but he'll do his best to show you the ropes -- And, he hopes to take you to see these really nice corals, too...

Jade Leech

Oh? Now that's an interesting offer.

Reacts in a way that's subdued and polite, but that's just everything Jade -- "Ah, is that so? Perhaps we can arrange that, then..."

Really enjoys the idea, actually. He's both curious to see what you'd look like with eel traits, and very sure that you'd be the most beautiful merperson he's ever laid his eyes upon. Hyped about it in a very Jade way.

He'll take you to see Azul when you confirm you're serious about it, promising he'll grant your wish, so you two can have a good time underwater together.

Opens his eyes wide, sparkles coming over them. Are you serious? Does his Shrimpy really want to be like him?

No mulling over the idea and its repercussions and meanings, he won't care about that. All that matters is that you must think he's so cool to want something like this, and that gets his heart racing like crazy.

Possibly just... grabs you the second you mention it and runs to Azul to break the news, like you're getting married or something, except he's just asking him to get you a transformation potion.

He can't help it, he's just really excited about it! He'll show you all the coolest places underwater, it'll be like a date!! He'll say that out loud by the way.

Floyd can get pretty cheerful, but this amount of energy is rare even to him -- If you didn't know he liked you before, you definitely will now.

When you go underwater, he holds your hands as he tells you the ins and outs of swimming in an eel body, rows of sharp teeth gleaming as he grins. He has a lot of fun when he's like this, and he hopes you do too!

Will try to race you or something, also, and tease you endlessly when you inevitably lose. It's nothing malicious though.

Never heard the song, so when you giggle and go “A doctor, a model, a man of possibilities.” in a sing-songy tone he’ll just nod, looking down at his teacup with reddish cheeks.

You’ll have to tell him it’s a song or he’ll go his whole life thinking that’s the sort of guys you’re into.

He also has high standards for himself (And others) so he doesn’t think it’s unreasonable? He’s sort of proud of you for knowing what you want and knowing your value actually.

Makes a little mental note to hopefully become the sort of person you could fall for. You’ll notice a little determined sparkle on his eyes when that happens.

Malleus Draconia

“Nice car, a CEO, and almost just as smart as me.” You say, and Malleus eyes subtly go wide.

Doesn’t recognize the song either, and I’m pretty sure they don’t have CEOs in the Valley of Thorns, so he’ll ask for clarification on what that is.

Just as earnest as Riddle, if not more. He’ll be patiently waiting for more information on what kind of man you’d want to be with. He could probably do that, right?

The implied high standards won’t faze him either, but, wow, he’s really impressed with your confidence. How refreshing it is to see somebody acting like that around him. Has a little moment internally because of how fearless he sees you as.

Please tell him it’s a joke. Once he knows what a CEO is he will try to become one as courtship.

I think he'd like the song. He relates to it in a way, having really high standards for who he'd date himself. It also just has a fun beat Vil can appreciate from time to time.

Keeps quizzing you on what your type would be, though. You quoting the song only makes him more curious, are you the type to have high standards as well? A part of him hopes you are. Vil thinks you only deserve the best of the best.

Turns the conversation into subtle flirting somehow. Praises you if you do in fact have high standards, while also showing off his qualities a bit. Wants you to know he could be your picture perfect guy, if you want him to.

"That's... a very bold response." He'll say, keeping his cool businessman smile, but the tips of his ears are burning red.

Another one that has never heard the song, and will think you're serious. He's taking mental notes, ready to question you further as you eat.

Hoping to let you know that, hey, he can do all these things you want your ideal boyfriend to do! He'll slide in comments about how capable he is as you talk -- Unless you just go on with the song quoting, if you do that he'll lose track of himself eventually.

It's just a lot of requeriments. You can see his eyes widening at them. He's internally panicking a bit but, but -- Surely he can do all of that, right? As long as he works as hard as he can...

Much like you, he’s not as much of a pure baby as he seems to be.

I don’t think he’d have watched Yarichin before, but he’s also like, not completely oblivious to the fact that people have sex and write songs about it. It’s sort of surprising to see you singing one of these though.

He’ll kind of play it cool, asking you where the song is from, but you can see on his face that you’ve startled him a bit, just because of the contrast between image and substance.

You can use that to tease him. Ask if he’s surprised you’re not as much of a blank canvas as you come off as, implying he’s the same, and it’ll actually fluster him.

If you offer to show him the anime it will probably end in some... interesting conversations, to say the least. Kalim will have a lot of thoughts on what goes on in the screen, and he doesn’t have much of a filter, so...

Riddle is likely the one that is the most surprised by this. Spending so much time focusing on his studies, I think he’s ended up... pretty pure, for a guy his age. He goes all red on the face whenever anyone mentions anything even remotely suggestive.

This is no exception to that, his face looking like a ripe apple while he tells you about how inappropriate your actions are.

He’ll walk away as quickly as he can, and when he’s far away from you, he has a complete crisis -- He really did think you were sweet and innocent, dear god. He can’t believe he’s fallen for someone who would sing about... something like that.

Will refuse it if you offer to show him the anime. But he’ll look up the song when he’s alone later.

Floyd Leech

Loves it. Thinks it’s the funniest thing ever. You, singing about sex with such a big smile on your face? Now that’s an unexpected turn of events.

I think he’d know where the song is from, but never really paid much attention to the origins. He probably just saw it in some memes or something.

He's very interested in you singing about doing all these things though "Wow, Shrimpy, I didn't know you had that in you." He giggles, and encourages you to keep going.

Joins in on the few verses he knows, but doesn't upstage you. Quotes some of them after you're done having your little moment.

If you try to show him the anime he'll point at the first occasion where two characters kiss onscreen and bluntly tell you you two should do that, grinning.

Wide eyed amusement. Not exactly surprised, he’s lived long enough to know that the “sweet and innocent” ones rarely are what they seem to be, but, wow, hearing all these vulgar words coming out of your mouth? It’s like reverse moe gap.

Probably knows where the song is from, but he’ll ask you about it anyway, showing up behind you to startle you. Will put on an innocent act better than yours, having you explain the song and its origins to him hoping it’ll fluster you.

Whether you get embarrassed mid explanation or call him out on his bullshit, he’s so amused. The contrast between your different sides are just too entertaining to him.

Idia Shroud

An accidental (Or maybe not) enabler with the creepier sides of his behavior, but especially if you threaten him for stalking others, since he should only have eyes for you. Seeing his life flash before his own eyes because of the person he loves becomes a thrill he’s all too fascinated by. If you do physically hurt him, he’s probably able to fend you off, but... why would he? He’s too morbidly curious about how that would feel like.

Malleus Draconia

As intelligent as he is, Malleus falls rather easily to the traps a yandere may set, intentionally or not. He’s not blind to red flags, he knows when possessive or obsessive behavior is just too much, but he’s so starved for affection, he just lets it happen.

That’s not to say he becomes powerless, of course. If anything, you bring out something darker in him with the way you treat him, reminding him of how a dragon treats his hoard. If you want to treasure him so violently, then he will do the same for you. Isn’t that how love is like, after all?

Completely willing to be yours alone, as long as you keep loving him in such a devoted way. It’s essentially a really intense codependency, he’ll be yours if you’re his, and the rest of the world can go die, nothing matters as long as you have each other.

Azul Ashengrotto

Out of those three, Azul is the one who’s put off by your behavior the most. He’s hesitant to sacrifice things for others, and even if you keep telling him how much you love him, how much you want him to be yours alone, he doesn’t want to let you just have him.

Azul is tricky, on and off accepting your behavior. Sometimes your endless devotion is just what he needs to quieten the cruel voices in his head, he gets sort of addicted to you. Maybe you use that to your advantage, and he’ll know if you do it, but still come back even if at times he seems so insistent in keeping his independency.

If you end up getting violent with others you see as being too interested in him, Azul might want to use you as aid to his business, if only to justify to himself why he keeps coming back to you even after he’s agreed with himself that he should stay back. You stay in that push-and-pull situation, unless you decide to take the step of capturing and/or breaking him. But in either way, he never really leaves.

Crushes are a bit of a weird-feeling territory for Ruggie to explore, it’s not like he’s never had one, but he never expects them, they always sneak up on him and he rarely knows what to do about them. They make him a little impulsive in showing his interest, even though he does fear awkwardness as much as any other guy.

So you can imagine it’s a bit surprising that you don’t seem to be noticing any of his advances at all, not the playful flirtiness nor the more direct compliments he ends up blurting out, and to that Ruggie’s just kind of confused. Did you just not feel the same? He doesn’t get it, he’s been feeling like he was acting embarrassingly obvious so far...

He’s sharp enough to notice it’s obliviousness, luckily. In fact, that’s what pushes him to make a move. It takes him a while to think of it, he wants it to be something nice, and you might notice him getting distant for a couple days or weeks, before he comes back to you with an actual confession, deciding that it was a now or never situation, knowing you wouldn’t just catch on to the fact that he likes you.

Cater Diamond

He thinks you’re doing something like playing hard to get, at first. Because there’s no way you didn’t notice he was flirting with you, right? He’s so damn obvious, every other Heartslabyul student has told you two to get a room at least once, and you’re still acting like you don’t know a thing about his feelings...

He realizes it’s a matter of obliviousness soon enough, though. You’re definitely not the first person with that sort of trait he’s met and gotten interested on, Cater getting quite a lot of fleeting crushes (Though yours wasn’t that case at all, it seemed.) and he just kind of finds it endearing.

The way he deals with it is simple enough. He’ll ask you out on a date, making it clear that’s what he’s talking about! No more flirting, subtle or not. If he’s gotten this far, he’s come to terms with the fact that he really likes you, and if you actually don’t like him back it’s fine, but he’s still gonna try at least once to get those feelings through.

Jamil Viper

So he got through his usual denial period that happens when he’s crushing on someone, and decided that it’d be worth to try pursuing you somehow. Jamil wants to think he’s going into this with a level head, but, really, it’s not nearly as cool as he wants it to be, and it gets worse when every one of his advances seems to fly over your head.

At first he thinks he’s just being too subtle, which makes sense, because even when he’s deliberately trying to drop hints, they’re by default very “blink and you’ll miss it”, so he tries slowly raising the bar. Then raising it again when that doesn’t work. And again. And at one point, he has an arm over your shoulders, and you’re still laughing about how you’re such good friends.

Jamil already has a lot on his plate, honestly, so if you don’t notice his crush that’s so obvious to everyone else, he’ll probably just get to his limit one day, and very impulsively confess to you, most likely not in the best situation for something like that to happen...

Azul Ashengrotto

He’s in pain. Ever since he decided he’d really pursue you, azul had been making efforts that were nothing short from astronomical to get you to notice him, while still trying to balance everything and keep it classy, yet it seemed like all his hard work was taking him precisely nowhere.

Heavily considers that you might just not be interested in him, which is a possibility that haunts him quite a lot for some time. You might notice him stepping back a little every now and then, that’s when he’s wondering if you even feel the same, the poor boy.

Azul just really wants a sign that he should keep pursuing you. He really doesn’t want to make things awkward between you two, and the thought of rejection is something he really dreads, but at the same time, he really likes you, and he feels the need to show that somehow, so he keeps cycling from stepping away to pursuing you to stepping away again...

His first instinct is, of course, scolding, but... he looks at you with his wide scandalized eyes, and you look so peaceful, eyelids fluttered shut and head leaning against him. Damn it, he can’t say anything at all. Riddle ends up being the sort who just stands frozen through the whole duration of your nap, even when he starts getting cramps from being so still.

Someone is going to walk in on you two, most likely Trey. He will still not move. Yeah, maybe you’re not supposed to be sleeping right now, but—! It’d just be unfair to wake you up, when you’re clearly tired! 

Leona Kingscholar

Leona is pretty casual with touching, especially when it comes to a girl he’s interested in like you, plus he’s definitely slept with his head on your lap before so, you really just figured it’d be fine to do the same.

He jumps a little in shock when you do it, but then a smirk spreads on his lips. Leona doesn’t actually say anything, he has some teasing remarks in mind, but he just keeps them to himself as you close your eyes. You can hear them when you wake up. He’s the one who’s always prioritizing his rest anyway.

You wake up with him also sleeping on you, both of you tangled up. Hey, Herbivore, you should feel lucky, I let you sleep on me like that, he’ll say when he wakes up, voice all drowsy. Deep down, he thinks your sleeping face is the cutest thing.

Azul Ashengrotto

You were at the Lounge, that much wasn’t unusual. Azul would often show off all sorts of new additions to the establishment, from recipes to furniture. There had been some live music today, he got you coupons for drinks and hung around your table, it had been a fun night, but you were growing tired.

You’re not fully conscious when you lean your head against his shoulder, cutting his chatter short, and let your eyelids fall closed. Azul ends up yelping ungracefully, which may or may not wake you up, depending how much of a heavy sleeper you are.

Whether it does or not, he flushes red and cuts it short on impulse, stuttering out a oh, you’re tired? T-There are spare rooms if you need to rest, free of charge this time! He’s totally panicked, and he’ll beat himself up for it later, but he’ll also be damn happy you actually almost fell asleep on him (If only a little sad he missed an opportunity to make a move...)

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim is the sort of guy who wants to be around his crush as much as possible, so he’s definitely been inviting you over for all sorts of things. It happens after you attended this big Scarabia dinner party, you’d been chatting and eating and dancing the night away, so it’s only natural you were exhausted afterwards.

It’s an unspoken agreement. Kalim offers you a bed for the night, leads you to the room after you sleepily agree, and he was sitting on the bed and chattering away when you sat by his side, snuggled up and fell asleep. He’s speechless for a moment, blank staring, but that’s soon replaced with a smile.

He watches you sleep for a bit, fingers tangling into your hair. You’ll probably wake up together, tangled up too, Kalim clinging to you like his favorite teddy bear.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil isn’t someone who just pines over his crushes. If he got this far regarding his fondness for you, then he’s determined to actually woo you, taking you out on proper dates and plotting a good confession. Today, he’d taken you out to the movies, one of his favorite date types, but the recent exams week just had done a number on you...

You didn’t mean to fall asleep, it’s just that it was dark and you were so tired and Vil looked pretty and comforting next to you, so you leaned against him and passed out. Which he notices immediately.

And... you didn’t hear it from him, but it made him smile so wide. Like Riddle, he’s usually the type to scold, but he’s willing to humor you, just this once. When you wake up and begin your apologies, Vil has a calm expression and an arm around your shoulders, letting you rest as you please.

Idia Shroud

Oh, that poor bastard. He’s been longing for what feels like ages now, unable to approach his feelings for you at all, but recently he’d finally managed to work up the courage to ask you to come over and play games, or maybe watch some anime. That had once felt like a safe way to spend time with the girl he likes, and now it was the danger zone.

When did it happen? ...neither of you noticed. Idia never pays attention to the clock when he’s focused, and when you were marathoning something, him rambling away about his favorite characters, you just passed out against him, and he lost it.

He definitely wakes you up with how he jolts and pretty much full on screeches, all of him turning a bright flaming red, and then it’s all awkward, both of you apologizing to each other, and Idia deep down feeling like he’s won the world’s most difficult gaming tournament.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus is more or less nocturnal, and a good deal of the time you spend together is at night, so you can imagine how that went on the one day you had been going around like a sleep deprived zombie. It’s just a progression of events to be expected.

He actually suggested for you to get some rest, noticing you seemed so out of it. In your sleepy brain, that meant the next course of action you should take was snuggle up to him while you’re sitting on a bench right outside Ramshackle, and get said rest. Malleus just freezes up when he notices how literally you took his suggestion.

He’s a lot like Riddle in that he just lets you sleep, sitting still through the entire duration of it even if it means he’s staying there until the sun rises, but not because he’s that horribly flustered. He just thinks you look so sweet like this, he’d feel awful waking you up. Maybe he’ll play with your hair a bit, but that’s it. Mostly he wants you to rest.
