I think Dominator was made to look like an "eye candy" because she represents modern cartoons where people simp for the attractive characters, while every other WoY character has this goofy Looney Tunes/retro/cartoonish vibe about them.

Whenever she interacts with the rest of the cast, Dom makes fun of them/sees them as inferior. It's just like how modern viewers disregard character/humor-driven stories and gravitate towards the serialized and/or action-packed. It's also expected of new shows to be the next "Gravity Falls," "Amphibia," or "The Owl House"

Dominator straight up rejects being a part of WoY in "The Cartoon" because the show she's in is the exact opposite of what's popular nowadays. Then she switches channels and we find out that she enjoys a show that's a parody of Gravity Falls (which started the whole trend of serialized, plot-driven cartoons) not to mention how most people fell in love with WoY only after they saw Dominator and heard the "I'm The Bad Guy" song because they realized WoY can be more "epic," serialized and have higher stakes. "My Fair Hatey" is also the highest ranked episode, and, you guessed it, it's one of the longer, more "serious" episodes, plus it's Dominator-focused

The fact that Dominator serves as a commentary on how animation has changed and what audiences are looking for in a cartoon in modern times is fascinating to me
