Lucien is really the perfect villain to oppose the Mighty Nein. He’s the exact opposite of everything they stand for.

“The only choice we’ve consistently made is to take care of our friends” vs. Lucien letting the Nein kill three of his followers so he and Cree could get a head start running for the somnovum

The Nein knowing it’ll slow them down but stopping to save Yussa anyway because he’s there friend and he needs their help vs. Lucien hearing Cree call for his help and instead turning her into a horrifying flesh monster to buy him more time

The Mighty Nein befriending nearly every wandering misfit they come across and initiating them into their family, helping and protecting each other and making each other stronger vs. Lucien using everyone who cared about him to get to his end goal and using his god-like powers to destroy and usurp the very people who gave him those powers.

The Mighty Nein - a family of outcasts who found a home in each other, who now have friends all over Exandria that they’re fighting to protect vs. Lucien - powerful and alone, fighting only for himself and his own desire for power.

So something interesting I thought of while contemplating c!Wilbur’s talk about what he stands for is specifically where he basically says he wants to stick it to the man pretty much always, through everything. But what triggered my personal revelation is when c!Tommy tried to rebuke him with the statement “But you just said you love The Man!” Referencing c!Dream.

Which made me think... at this point, c!Dream isn’t really The Man. c!Dream has been defeated, locked up, yeah, he’s still causing tons of chaos, but at this point, he’s been locked up for months in basically solitary confinement? Tortured by c!Quackity day in and day out? He’s paying for what he’s done, but in no way does he have power over the whole server like he once did.

Maybe, just maybe, c!Wilbur now sees c!Dream as some of the oppressed like he once did with those who joined L’manberg. Maybe he’s planning on breaking out c!Dream, or even just teaming up with him to stick it whoever The Man is now? Maybe that would be c’Sam, keeping him locked up? Or c!Tommy and c!Tubbo for bringing about his defeat? Or maybe it could go as far as the rest of the server who appeared to drag c!Dream below them all and toss him away? Idk, I might be overthinking

Now, I agree that Pfizer is sketch as hell. I’m not going to defend any of the horrible things that Pfizer has done in the past, cause they’ve done some horrible things.

However, I will say that I would have a bit more faith in this very specific context. This is a global pandemic, so there is going to be a lot more oversight in the development and testing of this vaccine.

I am going to be wary because of history, you’re absolutely right, but there’s more on the line here than ever and they’re actually working with BioNTech, a german based immunotherapy company, and Fosun, a chinese based pharmaceutical company. So there is international eyes on the research, so they can’t really just lie about the vaccine without getting laughed away by the rest of the world
