By far one of the most iritating things people say when someone complains about their situation in life is “that’s just how the world works”—like, bitch, maybe that’s the problem??? I truly do not understand how everyone can agree that the system is flawed and broken and still refuse to do anything to change it.

Humanity really wanna sit here and made their own problems, complain about how horrible life is, and then do nothing about it like it isn’t our fault we’re here in the first place?

Then the older generations think it’s entirely okay to impose this belief that the system of the world is this impenetrable force that can’t be changed or stopped onto the younger generations, and have the nerve to ask why all the kids are depressed and ready to give the fuck up?

To everyone saying that the only reason gen z is so nihilistic is because we know the world is a fucking dumpster fire and that logically, there shouldn’t be any physical way we can undo the damage that’s been done—
