the sufism in films of Imtiaz Ali... and no i don't mean the quote from Rumi at the end of ‘Rockstar’ . I mean, in general, the characters in his films, or rather in the love stories that he has filmed, have a journey which is like an  evolution towards a sufi consciousness..which makes them relook at romantic love and its after effects with a new understanding and perspective and they open  their arms again to embrace  love , experiencing it anew and for posterity, it seems...

the language tree... can't believe maithili features so prominently in the Indo-european languages - as we grow older, the need to reconnect to roots and traditions of who we are originally gets strong, the embarrassment of stating that we belong to a particular area, or have a particular accent, originate from a certain geography.. slowly vanishes and is replaced by pride...
