Hi everyone, I'm sort of in a tight spot right now. It'd be wonderful if you could help me reblog this as I am running out of time. If I get evicted I will be homeless again. My parents kicked me out 2 years ago. Previous to that they were abusive. I wasn't able to gain financial independence from them as they prevented me from getting a job. Every time I get groceries I’m always appalled at how little you can get for like, $20. I was making banana pudding so I needed vanilla wafers but the brand name nilla wafers cost $4 a box. The minimum wage in my state is $7.25/hr. My friend put it really well when he said “imagine you work for an hour and someone hands you two boxes of nilla wafers and said ‘actually this is a bit more than what I owe you’”

It's okay if the only emotion you're ready to feel right now is anger. Being angry doesn't make you dangerous or immoral. Anger is a normal emotion. It's usually a secondary emotion, meaning there are other emotions that are causing that anger. But sometimes anger feels like the only safe emotion, and if you're not ready to address the emotions that are the cause of your anger, that's okay. Being angry is allowed.

... can you explain how? There's nothing in BSD that would invalidate this headcanon. While in canon Akutagawa has emotional and physical trauma, there's absolutely nothing that says he could or couldn't be hypersexual. BSD really doesn't have sexual content or discussion in it at all and I'm at a loss as to how trauma could possibly "invalidate" someone being hypersexual, especially since hypersexuality often stems from either trauma itself or psychological disorders triggered by trauma (for example, people who developed BPD from being neglected often are hypersexual).

Also, it'd be really cool if you didn't call people disgusting for projecting on characters they relate to.

y’know as much as self-sacrifice gets made out to be super noble and shit in a lot of fiction, i am. very much more in favor of the message “you can live. you can want to live. it is a good thing to want to live, and it is a good thing that you are alive. you don’t have to feel guilty for being alive.”

idk it’s what i really needed to hear when shit got bad and honestly it’s what i still need to hear sometimes and it’s what i want the people i care about to believe about themselves.
